Mother's Day

So it's Mother's Day soon, and I'm wondering, do you do anything with/for your mom? Is your mom special to you?

i think last year we just chilled around the house and i made something for her. i can't remember. this year i made her a card, and if i can get up early enough (knowing me i probably wont) i will possibly make her breakfast. but i hardly ever get up that early.

Mother's Day was months ago over here. Mother wanted something, so I bought it for her. Usually the best thing I can do for her is stay out of her way, so I did. She was happier with me than she was with my brother, who she didn't even get a card from, so I guess I did something right that day.

We're just going to have a family dinner, as we always do. :) Bought a little bottle of perfume for her, since she loves collecting cute bottles.

I bought a rose for her since she likes them a lot. {XD} Moms are really something special, there's an Italian actor called Antonio De Curtis who once said: "Someone who has a mom is rich and he's not aware of it.".

I'm taking my mom somewhere nice to eat. Since I live in a place with fancy restaurants (I work at one) she would enjoy a day off from that stuff while my brother is cleaning the house up.

We had Mother's Day a couple of months ago in the UK but I got my Mum a nice necklace and we went out for a meal with family

My mom really wanted to get ice cream today but the weather was shit, so we just stayed at home and ordered takeaway. We as a family don't want to be mushy with each other so we don't spend a lot of time emphasizing days like this and our love for each other. We do always feel underappreciated though so at the end of the day I feel bad for not spending more time with and on her. This happens every year. xD

I got mine a rose, card, and pomegranate flavored dark chocolate because she likes those ^^ She was happy! pretty normal gift but I'm not good at knowing what people want haha. That seemed to be more than enough for her.
