MOTM- Stay or Go

hmm, what I say may be mean but...

It's always the people that feel they are inferior that say "MOTM's suck they should go" Whereas if they got a ton of votes they'd love the MOTM's...if I didn't get any vote for one month, I'd be pretty sad, but I wouldn't lash out and say that MOTM's are dumb...erk

HAHA, you're sooo right. That's why I don't like MOTM anymore, I don't get any votes. The only way you know how it feels, is to experience not getting any votes. When that happens you start to think MOTM is pointless.

Back in the spring of '03 [my prime], i loved MOTM, and I would never want to vote it out. My opinions have changed now, and it hurts people's feelings when they get no votes. And plus, it's usually the same people getting voted for in the same category every month.

That's why I wanted to change how MOTM works but I lost my chance in January 'cause of Vito .-.

I think Member of the Month should go. Why? Because it makes people jealous and pitiful. Your not getting anything out of it anyways like money or your education. And the Burden of counting the votes when you don't really get anything out of it unless you have so extra time. Sure Member of the month can stay, but if people are going to be jealous (using it as an Example) then Away it should go...

Mmhm anyway, maybe not take MOTM away, but shorten the voting time to less than a week from day one of the month so it doesn't stay there for too long.

One idea would be you can only vote for the same person twice or thrice in your entire ballot, that could force actually going to certain sections to decide who you find admirable about the category you?re voting for. I?m surprised no one mentioned this idea. It might be effective at preventing people like me from creating an illusion that winning some categories is impossible.

Anyone who knows me well knows I seldom say my opinion unless it?s necessary. Really, I?ve never been in the down-shadow except for the first two months, so I doubt anyone wants the top-voted person of the MotM?s opinion on this anyways.

Kairi isn?t going to says hers, but she?s never really cared one way or another, whatever the majority of the community feels is best will be fine with her.

I?ve had like, 8 hours of sleep in the last 72, I?m bound to do some weird things o_o; We could go on about my opinion and stuff, but it?s not really relevant to the member of the month thing. I do hope that should it stay, the people who are doing them study this thread and work with everyone to find ways to improve it?s execution and core.

I might go down to the states but I'm not sure what kind of job I'd have to do there. ^-^
