As children, most of us probably saw balloons often, whether in advertisements, television, parties and well, pretty much anything that was seen to be "happy", or at a special occasion. A lot of you were probably intrigued by balloons because of their varying colours, shape and associations to happiness/fun.
Now we're older, do balloons still have the same happiness connotation as they did then? Do you find yourself still smiling when you see a balloon being blown up, or a child holding a balloon (the latter implies that it brings back memories). Do you think the effects of balloons (and other items such as these associated with childhood happiness, such as clowns, etc) will wear off as we grow even older?
I waaaas planning on making this longer but then it might touch on areas of another thread so I'll just leave it simplistic.
