    Time to train you!

The underdogs, the--okay, so, when playing through Black and White, you might have noticed one Pokemon stand out as the easiest to raise, or the most worthwhile to train.

→ Which was the most worthwhile to train to you - something you would recommend to other members?
→ Which was the easiest to train? Did you expect it to be easiest?
→ Which was the hardest to train? Do you regret training it?

    • Archeops. He gets everything right for you. So what with his horrible ability, he gets the job done.
    • I'm saying Vanillite. She (it sounds right) is very easy to train and for me went on a solo run against Iris, killing all her Pokemon with one Ice Beam.
    • Eh, tough question. For me, it's Patrat. I never had enough time to evolve it. I would have, but it's just too weak.

I actually never noticed Liepard. I thought, "What was all the fuss about?" when everyone kept on talking about it.

I agree with the above; Archeops was worth it to train. Sure, it's crippled by its ability, but it's the sheer power behind Acrobatics (without an item) that makes it take out most of the opposition in a single hit.

Samurott was pretty easy to train. As Dewott, Razor Shell (and Water Gun/Pulse) were pretty much all I needed.

Venipede was pretty hard to train at first because of its average 45 Attack, forcing me to use Screech once or twice before attacking.

Hydreigon was definitely worth the train...it sucks that you don't get it until Lvl 64, but well worth the wait.

I had a pretty easy time training Darmanitan...with the high attack, and possibly rather decent speed with nature, it gets the job done quick and often.

I know it's oddly specific, but Duosion was very hard. Solosis wasn't terrible, but once I got into the stronger parts of the game, the lack of defenses (even a relaxed nature) and speed really hurt. While Reuniclus is definitely worth it, I had an easier time using Munna/Musharna at the beginning of the game then forcing Duosion later.

Worth it- Axew. Love that little guy, and Haxorous is amazing

Easy- Sammorott. Always did the right thing, and that's beat the opponent.

Hard- Tynamo. Weak defenses, not so good attack, and having mostly physical attack when evolving didn't help.

I have always held my Hydreigon and Haxorus in high regard due to battling ability.

→ Which was the easiest to train? Did you expect it to be easiest?
Nothing really outstanding, but I find Axew to be easier to raise than Deino due to lower evolution levels and no hindering abilities, as well as stats that don't contradict other evolution levels.

→ Which was the hardest to train? Do you regret training it?
The hardest one? Getting a Deino to a Zweilous and then to a Hydreigon... But, man, it's worth it, and I have no regrets. Not even a bit.

My Archeops has always been awesome. A lot of people already recommended it, I noticed, and he deserves it. He's a killer with Acrobat and a Flying Gem. Earthquake and Rock Slide aren't bad either, and all those moves are amazing with Archeops' monstrous Attack and Speed. A major setback is of course its ability, halving its Attack when its HP gets down, but the opponent usually never gets the chance to even get a good look at Archeops before going down.

Since I've only trained three Pokémon on my Pokémon Black, I can't really say anything about easily trainable Pokémon. I suppose Archeops levelled pretty fast too, because he was by far my favorite Pokémon.

My Dream World Luxray was pretty hard to train, because he doesn't really learn any good moves in the beginning. Also, the recoil always made it hard to keep him alive, because I gave him a Toxic Orb to go with Guts. Facade was a killer move, but the poison damage was pretty annyoing. Wild Charge was even worse, with both poison damage and one fourth recoil damage. In the end, Luxray turned out to be an amazing asset to the team, but I regret not getting a regular Swellow over it, because it's faster and gets STAB on Facade.

Scolipede. Sure I guess, it did well on my team for the E4. It also makes a decent lead competitively, or so I've heard.

Which was the easiest to train? Did you expect it to be easiest?
I'd say the easiest Pokémon for me to train was Ducklett/Swanna. I didn't expect it to be a hard Pokémon to train nor easy; so I'd say average.

Which was the hardest to train? Do you regret training it?
Purrloin hands down. I didn't expect it to be so difficult to train at first and after I raised it to about three-four levels higher than it was, I decided to box it. It kept fainting a lot as well, and it was definitely a pain to level up. I could just imagine training a Liepard... & Yes, I do regret training it unfortunately. :<

Archeops was definitely worth the effort. STAB Acrobatics is so lethal and the type-combination allows for quite a lot of hefty coverage. Personally I don't like the Pokémon's design but he makes up for it with his beastliness. I find pure Flying types to be quite useless really, and I rarely ever have a Rock type in my team, so it was a nice deviation from the norm.

I'd say Timburr was relatively easy to level-up. As soon as I got the EVs over and done with [which were quite easy at the beginning of the game since most of the Pokémon in the early stages of the adventure give Attack/Speed effort values], I just farmed Audinos in Pinwheel Forest. It was excellent being able to 1-hit-KO them with super effective Low-kick/Wake-Up Slap. I didn't expect levelling to be so quick with the shaky-grass exploit shenanigans so, naturally, I was pleased with the progress I was making so early on.

Kaori answered this question for me. Purrloin >8(
I was so intent on not giving up on Purrloin, just WAITING for it to evolve. I don't know why I expected it to be the new 5th generation equivalent to Magikarp. I was disgustingly wrong. I spent so much time trying to level it up despite the constant fainting and tedious 10 minute battles with wild Pokémon. Regretted it so much when I finally got a Liepard..

I would recommend Lilligant for an in-game team. Sleep Powder + Leech Seed + Giga Drain + Quiver Dance = something that heals itself. Lilligant was pretty easy to train, it grew levels at a good pace. NEVER RAISE A STUNFISK. I REPEAT, NEVER RAISE A STUNFISK! They die quickly and are have annoying cries.

Worthwhile - Volcarona. Larvesta is weak and frail, and it takes a long time to train, but when you get Volcarona, it is really strong. With Quiver Dance, it can sweep just about anything. It is inarguably the best Bug type in the game.

Easy - Sandile was easy for me to train. It's attack is good, and it learns good moves. Plus, I got a Naughty one, and that certainly helped. Moxie also helps it. Another would be Darmanitan. My Darumaka was great even before it evolved, and it played a valuable role in defeating Ghetsis.

Hard - Tynamo. While Eelektross is worth it, it is hard to raise a Tynamo early in the game, with it's bad stats and moveset. Gothitelle also comes to mind. I used one on my most recent playthrough, and it is just too frail, it's HP is too low for it's defenses to actually work, and it's special attack is decent at best. Even with a Sassy nature, which would increase it's special-walling skills, it's speed is rubbish, it's HP is rubbish, and it's physical attack is certainly rubbish.

→ Which was the most worthwhile to train to you - something you would recommend to other members?
I very much enjoyed training my Pansear, although I know a lot of people get a little annoyed at the fast it doesn't learn any new moves when it evolves. But I kept it in my team up until after the 7th gym, it had learned it last move possible crunch, and I evolved it. It was a great addition to my team, it has a variety of moves, but you just need to be patient.

→ Which was the easiest to train? Did you expect it to be easiest?
Probably my starters, on all playthroughs.

→ Which was the hardest to train? Do you regret training it?
Munna and Tynamo. Seriously. They're just SO ANNOYING, well at least at start. They had a very restricted move pool in their early levels, which really annoyed me.

→ Which was the most worthwhile to train to you - something you would recommend to other members?
I enjoyed training my Cofagrigus to level 100, I just wish that it was able to learn better moves

→ Which was the easiest to train?
    Cofagrigus and Sumorott (my starter)

Did you expect it to be easiest?
Yes because I've always had no problem with training my starter Pokemon and Cofagrigus has a good Defense and Special Defense Stat making it harder to KO

→ Which was the hardest to train?
    My Chandellure and Krookodile

    Do you regret training it?
No I dont regret training them, they are 2 of my favorite Pokemon
