Hey everyone and welcome to my first RMT. This is my first competive team ever, so i've

problamy done alot of things wrong that all of you experienced players never would do.

However i dont want this thread to be about how bad my team are and that i suck.
    (image no longer exists)
Instead of that kind off comments tell me what i've done wrong and tell me how to fix the problem.

GREAT sweeper. This has potential to take out 2-3 pokémon if used correctly. Choice scarf to outspeed most stuffs and maxed EV on SpAtk to kill basicly anything with it attacks. I have thought about learning it Calm mind but i decided to not.

Very basic WishPoreon. Protect to protect me (lol that sounds funny) and Surf/Ice beam to deal some damage. Not really much to explain.

That's about it. Remember this is the first time i make a team so dont suppose it to be teh best.

Thx for reading the whole thing.

    Item: Leftovers / Lum Berry

    EV Hp 252 / 68 Atk / Def 108 / 80 sp.def

    EQ / Hypnosis
    Stealth rock

Relaxed to power up Gyro Ball please and to increase your physical def without needing as many def evs. 68 att OHKO Gengar and the s.def helps draco meteors etc.

Lum Berry + Hypnosis is still a fantastic combo since sleep leads are quite common now you can just take their sleep first turn, wake up and put them right back to sleep and guarantee you set up SR, something to consider.

    The 1st special sweeper

    Hidden Power Fighting
    Ice Beam

NEVER use Hyper Beam, 2 turn charge up moves = noob, remember that. You are at risk of something setting up on you easily.

Ok, id scarf this because Gyarados mashes your team after a dd so you can at least check/revenge it with pz. Ice Beam hits dragons etc whilst HP Fight nails Heatran and Tyranitar.

Shadow Ball + Dark Pulse have redundant coverage tbh.

    The 2nd special sweeper
    Alakazam
    Ability: Synchronize
    Nature:Timid
    Item: Leftovers

    EV
    152 HP / 176 SpD / 180 Speed

    Psychic
    Substitute
    Calm mind
    Focus Blast

    1. Ice Punch is physical and Alakazam's attack stat is lol.
    2. Recover is useless, zam is far too frail for it.

Ok, let me explain this set, you set up a sub to stop status and then calm mind beind it to make your subs unbreakable and you can actually set up on things like Cress, Celebi and non S-Toss Blissey. Leftovers heals you as then cannot break your subs.

Focus Blast + Psychic has the best coverage

Substitute also stops Scizor/Metagross etc playing mind games with "will i Pursuit or Bullet Punch?" since you can just switch whilst your sub takes the Pursuit. ^_^

    The flying physical sweeper
    Staraptor
    Ability: Intidimate
    Item: Choice belt
    Nature: Adamant

    EV Atk 252 Speed 252 SpDef 4

    Brave bird
    Close combat
    U-turn
    Return

Yeah, but Giga impact = no.

    The ground Physical sweeper
    Rhyperior
    Ability: Solid rock
    Item: Leftovers
    Nature: Adamant

    EV:
    132 HP / 192 Atk / 16 SpD / 168 Spe

    EQ
    Stone Edge
    Swords Dance / Megahorn

    Substitute

Use those evs with sub, they let you take hits whilst being able to attack well yourself. You need Stone Edge as your Secondary STAB.

    The defensive bulky water
    Vaporeon
    Ability: Water absorb
    Nature: Bold
    Item: Leftovers

    EV 252def 188hp 68SpDef.

    Ice beam
    Wish
    Surf
    Toxic

    Those evs takes hits better.

Ok, so you need a fighting resist, so id try a Salamence >> Staraptor. This allows you to take Close Combats from things like Lucario etc.

    Salamence@Choice Band
    80 HP / 252 ATT / 176 SPEED
    Adamant / Jolly Nature
    - Outrage
    - Dragon Claw
    - Aqua Tail
    - Fire Fang

Adamant beats Adamant Lucario and Jolly beats Jolly Lucario so its really up to you which nature you use.

Dragon Claw for easly game and scouting whilst Outrage for late game. Fire Fang hits steels and Aqua Tail just gives this set great coverage.

Next, i can see Scizor being a pain. Stealth Rock + U-Turn = ughh for this team in addition nothing really beats the Swords Dancer. Id consider something like Heatran >> Alakazam.

    Heatran@Life Orb
    252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED/ 6 HP
    Timid / Naive Nature
    - Fire Blast
    - Earth Power
    - Hidden Power [Gras/Electric] / Dragon Pulse
    - Explosion / Dragon Pulse

    Set is self explanitory really.

Fire Blast + Earrth Power for STAB and in the latters case, coverage. Hidden Power Electric hits bulky waters and Gyarados whilst HP Grass does the same and hits Swampert (who is quite the pain to your team). Dragon Pulse for Dragons and has alot of neutra coverage and Explosion is jut Explosion and takes out most things non resistant and special walls like Blissey etc.

    Something like this.

So, to review the changes :

    Bronzong
    Heatran
    Porygon-z
    Salamence
    Rhyperior
    Vaporeon

    Something like this ?

    Good luck with the team.

Thx taking your time on my team ^^. I did Not change the pokemon in the team cuz i like Stara and Alakazam but i did the changes on them. Thx for the help on pics.

On your Scarf P-Z go with Ice Beam >>> Dark Pulse to take care of Mence and Dragon-types in general.

252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD on Vappy please, also consider Protect >>> Toxic, its useful for scouting hits and also allows you to get the Wish healing without taking a hit.

SDLuke hurts you pretty bad, ES destroys P-Z, Zam. CC wipes out Vappy, Zong and Rhyperior. Sure Staraptor outspeeds it but that dies to ES 70% of the time after SR soo you need to check it. Maybe ScrarfTran could work over P-Z, it can switch in on Fire-attacks aimed at Zong and can be covered very well by Vappy.

    Heatran @ Choice Scarf
    Nature : Naive
    EV : 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
    - Fire Blast
    - Earth Power
    - Explosion
    - Dragon Pulse / Hidden Power [Electric]

Have fun with this team ^.^

Thx for all help but as i said earlier to "Dark azelf" i will not change pokémons in the team. I'll change ice beam> dark pulse but should Alakazam still have Ice beam? I can change protect> surf if you want. However on the vappy EVS Dark azelf told me to have these but you told me other and both sounds good. I dunno which i should have ^^

If switching a Pokemon benefits your team you should usually do it, just because you like using it doesn't mean it's the best choice and can't be replaced. Ultimately it's your choice whether you switch it or not but I strongly urge you to consider the switches suggested by DA. It'll really benefit your team ;)

Both spreads can work on Vappy, it really depends on what you want.

Alakazam doesn't learn Ice Beam...replace it with Focus Blast so you can hit stuff like Tar, Blissey as well as general coverage =)

Okay i might add in another poké. But only 1 lol. So which do you think should go out which should go in? BTW Alakazam already has Focus blast ^^.

Sorry about that, well then put CM >>> Ice Beam (as he doesn't learn it :P).

The changes DA suggested(LOTran > Zam, CBMence > CBStaraptor) are probably the ones you should take ;)

If you're really adamant on one change then I'd go ScarfTran >> Scarf P-Z, it'll solve your SDScizor/SDLuke weak and you can revenge a bunch of different Pokemon but you do kinda need a Fighting resist....

Ok thanks ^^. You think i should change Alakazam to LOTran then? It looks pretty darn decent.

    Ability: Intidimate
    Item: Choice band
    Nature: Adamant

    EV 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe or use DA's spread

    Outrage
    Aqua Tail
    Fire Fang
    Dragon Claw

HP Flying isn't physical in DPPt, so Outrage fits. Aqua Tail and Fire Fang for coverage, and Dragon Claw for late game.
Timid > Modest on Porygon-Z so you outrun +1 Jolly Gyarados.

Offensive Calm Mind Latias tears through your team. Everything is outsped and OHKO'd, and Ice Beam from Porygon-Z only deals 49% max after a CM. Maybe something like Choice Scarf Jirachi can go over Porygon-Z. It also helps with +1 Adamant / Naughty Salamence without having to lure the Outrages to Bronzong.

    [PokeCommunity.com] My first RMT
    @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe (max Speed is needed to speed tie with Jolly / Naive Salamence)
    Jolly Nature (+ Spe / - SpA)
    - Iron Head
    - ThunderPunch
    - Ice Punch
    - Trick / Fire Punch

Hmm... Maybe CB Scizor could work instead.

    [PokeCommunity.com] My first RMT
    @ Choice Band
    Ability: Technician
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe (don't use max HP because you take more SR damage)
    Adamant Nature (+ Atk / - SpA)
    - U-turn
    - Bullet Punch
    - Superpower
    - Pursuit / Quick Attack / Double Hit / Return

U-turn for scouting, Bullet Punch for revenge killing, Superpower for coverage against Magnezone, Heatran, etc, and Pursuit can be used for revenge killing stuff like Gengar, Rotom-A, etc. Quick Attack can also be used as another priority for weakened Gyarados, Infernape, Jolteon, etc. Double Hit or Return can be used to 2HKO a max HP Gyarados (SR and Intimidate factored). They both have the same base power (105), but Double Hit breaks through Subs so it is generally better.

Changing might not add any new threats to your team. If I spot any I'll post. ;3

And, if you do this, use HP Electric over Ice Beam on Vaporeon so you can counter Gyarados.

Now dats sumething dat sounds frekin amasing.(Cool english). What to take out?

The principal problem of this team, is that it comes completely destroyed by a Swords Dance Lucario in combo with Stealth Rock, I would try to cover better such weakness.
So what do you suggest? I can't of think of something.

So what do you suggest? I can't of think of something.

Make Mence Jolly and give it 80 hp / 252 att / 176 speed to outspeed Jolly Lucario and you can pass it wishes from vappy to act as a decent Lucario check.

That and Lucario cant set up on anything. ^^
