New 2ds won't connect ti wifi!

So today I got a new 2ds and after the initial setup it asked me to connect it to the internet.
Of course I tried to connect with my wifi but after testig the connection it told me that it couldn't connect! I tried many things (changing my WPA-PSK encryption from TKIPAES to AES and to TKIP or changing my wireless mode from 11n to 11g) but nothing seemed to work.

It always takes a long time on "testing connection" then it gives me an 003-1101 error code.

PLEASE someone help, I'm desperate! I've tried everything I could find (some of them were not that useful)!

They say it means it can't connect. Check, if you are giving the correct password. Also, check if your router isn't filtering. What happens when you make an open wifi network, does this still happen?

What's the error code you're receiving when it says it cannot connect? tuxintuxedo, I think you may be jumping to conclusion a little too early on that by asking them to mess with their router settings before determining a possible cause of the error.

I am certain that IO have the correct password but I don't have acess to a public wifi spot right now and I don't know how to check if my router is filtering or not.

I already said in my first post that the error code was 003-1101. I've tried all the solution I could find on google but nothing works.

I remember back then, error codes were like only 5 digits, so I was looking for one of those. :3c

Anyways, who's the manufacturer of the router? You may have to set up a static IP with the 2DS and see if that works instead of dynamic assignment.

This....might be a dumb suggestion but, have you tried restarting your router? Because whenever my 3DS didn't wanna connect to the internet (and I'm pretty sure that I got an error message similar to that) doing that would fix it.

How far are you from the router when you connect your 2DS to it? I live on the 2nd floor so naturally my 3DS can't connect to wifi because my router is on the 1st floor.

The manufacturer must be from my own country (greece) so I doubt you know him. It's name is OTE.
