New Gold/Silver Remakes!

i was comparing to yamichi's game i was using that as an example of how big i thought the town should be.

Yeah, as PastRule223 said, it's roughly the same size as in the actual games. I know it may look a bit cramped, but for example Pallet Town is roughly the same size in Red as it is in FireRed, and I think it makes it more like a remake to keep them the original sizes.

Yeah, but the actual map is the same size, and if I did it too much bigger then it may not feel like New Bark Town anymore. But if the space between the houses troubles you so much I'll move it over a bit. :cheeky:
No, seriously, it's not that much of an issue. Nobody said that my game's gonna be perfect, so I'll just leave it at that.
On another note, if I could have a demo ready over the next week!
The only thing truly holding me back right now is the title screen, as I can finish of the rest of the scripts fairly quickly :P . Another problem I'm having right now is the battle system and making it more balanced, but I'm sure I'll solve that in a day or two. ;)

for the title screen why don't you just rip the silver title screen and improve the graphics.

Yep! Weather effects will be included, and some will have nifty little effects too. For example, rain will re-grow berries that have been picked (All berries are linked to a switch, and all switches in that range will be switched off when it rains :P). I don't need any help with day/night/weather, but thanks for offering anyway! :)

-EDIT- I don't have a title screen yet, Imakuni?. I'll probably just make my own title screen, but it will take a good portion of a day or two, so I'll start it after I've got the actual game up to the end of Route 31 done. Then I'll work on it.

I fixed phonix316's, it was spelled wrong (lunar, not luner) and I made it night, to go along with the whole lunar thing. :P

I made a title screen just to make one...here it is..not as good as the others but oh well, who cares

It still looks pretty good! But it doesn't have the Advance-feel Phoenix's screen does. It'd be good for another game (with the title edited of course). ;)
I had also done a japanese logo - here's how it looks in the title screen. n.n I had also done my own english logo, which is also attached. :)
Phoenix, I'll use your original screen for SolarGold. I just need to switch Lugia with Ho-oh, and I'll use Pokedragonfire's night-version for LunarSilver.
