New Gold/Silver Remakes!

looking good. you said there might be a demo next week? well... can you post a fixed kamon sprite?
Also: are you in anyway related to Yamichu? just wondering n.n
 
Yeah, I did post the fixed one at the bottom of Page 7, but you said that didn't work, even though that's the exact one I'm using (I uploaded straight from my charset folder). And, no, I'm not related to Yamichu. :)
I've almost completely finished the scripts up to the Route 31 gatehouse. I just have the trainers on R.30 to do, the scripts on R.31 and Prof Elm's house after you've faced Kamon. Also I still have to import some pok?mon pictures. Then the demo will be just about ready! :D
 
It will be like GS in the same way that FireRed and LeafGreen are like Red and Green. So for the most part, it will be the same, but some trainers may be placed differently, and there will be some new 'Mystery Islands' as well as the ones in FireRed + LeafGreen. Also, some other things will be different, i.e. weather, plus there will be some extra key items, but I don't want to give too much away. ;)

hmm... the jhoto graphics werent that bad. but this game is gonna blow nintendo out of the water!
 
Hey! Guess what? I need another charset! This time it's for the policeman who investigates the Pok?mon Thief at Elm's Lab. (I wonder who the thief is... :D ) Anyway, he's basically a guy with black/brown hair dressed in blue with an nice blue police cap on. Shouldn't be too hard to make! ;)

Anyway - Scripting is almost complete for the demo, I just need to do the trainer battles along Route 30/31, the Pok?dex + the Phone. I'll probably just leave the Pok?dex out for now, as it won't be much good considering you won't be able to catch any pok?mon yet. (Sorry)

Uh, I'm not going to be putting any box-art in my sig. I was just going to put the logo I made in the sig, and I wasn't going to do that until after I've completed the demo. Also, Phoenix, could you upload that charset as a .PNG file? Ya see, with a JPEG RPG Maker won't find the transparent colour 'coz the background becomes a lot of different shades of white in different places when you save as a JPEG.

-EDIT- Imakuni, my games supposed to be GBA-style - It's a remake like FireRed + LeafGreen are, so don't want GBC-style stuff in it. ;)
 
why dont u use it on your site then? I put a lot of work into that.
 
Because I already have some ideas for box art in mind, which includes some extra stuff not on yours. Plus as I said, I want it to be GBA style, and no just an exact copy of Pok?mon Silver box art with a couple of text changes.
Plus your time wasn't wasted because it's good practice and you've used the same kind of idea with your box art. ;)
