Im going to buy the Game Boy Evolution ^ ^
No, no DS. DS may be really cool, but I was intersted on the Picto Chat. Now I know that Majesco is making GBA Chat so I dun need to buy DS ^ ^;

I will probably get them both, but I know one thing for certain, I won't be getting a psp

Well, i never herd anything about a new gameboy, because i thought the ds was the new gameboy. now i'm confused :confused:

The the gameboy evoloution is the new gameboy, the nintendo DS is a completely different consoles, for a start it has 2 screens!

Ya so the gameboy evo. Is what is going to have it then...but i might get a ps2 just becuse it looks so frieggen cool (like i have that type of money XD)

If I was forced to get one, it would be the DS, but I'm not really excited about any of them =/

They just better not make a DS Fire Emblem or pokemon game, or I WILL be forced to buy it... *snarls*

I would buy both the PSP and DS. The Nokia N-Gage QD doesn't seem that well.
I think I heard of GB Evolution, isn't it the one that plays all GameBoy games and Gamecube Games. I remember reading about that one. I can't find it on any of the popular gaming news such as GameSpy, Gamespot, IGN, and Google News.

id say nentindo ds i heard lot of cool rumors about it like its beter than n64, in graphics that is.

That was a fake image from Jeux-France. Nothing more.

And due to my Nintendo Fanboy-ism I'll be picking up both a DS and Evolution.

Considering the rumors about a new Game Boy system, I began to think upon the graphics, and a thought came to me: will there be 64+-bit 3D graphics, or will they make a more detailed 2-D system? I know the DS is going to be three-dimensional, but would nintendo also do that to their next gameboy? I'm concerned that if the next gameboy was 3-D, it would lose a lot of its charm and seem just like a DS clone. I know nintendo strives to make every system more advanced than their equivalant, but the thing that makes the game boy what it is is its unique graphics. Of course, we all go for the great graphics of the next-gen systems, but the gameboy line has always strived for its own breed of excellence in the two-dimensional area, which is appreciated by anyone who owns a game boy or anyone who has owned any of the pre N64 systems. Face it: you're not going to get the same type of beauty that can be achieved in such GBA games as Metroid Fusion/Zero Mission and Fire Emblem. People enjoy sprites and the detailed, sometimes photorealistic pictures that can be seen in some GBA games...and the method of linear gaming and up/down/left/right controlling is best suited for a 2-D system. What my worry is is that nintendo may make the next gameboy 3-D in the name of progress, but in the same time may lose some of the qualities that made the GB abd GBA unique, which would turn some gamers away from it...I'm just worried that the DS and GBE will be too similar...

I don't see anything that can stop them from making a 2D game on a 3D system if they really wanted to. But the main reason for going 3D is most likely cometition. What would the main stream public buy? A mini PS2 or a 2D system?

I'm going for the DS, but if I get some extra cash then I'll get the PSP. Nintendo has more variety of games than Sony has, IMO. And more exclusives as well (Zelda, Metroid, Starfox, Mario Bros, Fire Emblem, ect....).

Considering on what I've read so far, with the PSP and the DS unvieling at E3, some may say that one might do much better then the oher, but I thingk there would be some serious competition between the two, seeing how the PSP would be more for people who are more interested in technology, and the DS would be for anyone just wanting to play a game. Either way, I would try to get both (already knowing the PSP would be at an expensive price....).

DS and the GBA2 (GB Evo). I'm a die-hard Nintendo fanboy, plus the PSP doesn't intrest me, plus it looks ugly, plus it has no battery life, plus it's overly delicate.
