    I'm definitely not new to spriting or the community (I've been spriting since 2007...hahahhhh...) but I finally decided to re-animate my love for Pokemon spriting in preparation for my own game someday. I have no idea how to start, but I'm looking for the chance to draw new sprites for anyone who is interested! I'm also trying my hand at programming a hack, even though I don't plan on releasing one- just so I get to know my way around.

    I'm more than happy to draw Fakemons and trainers, and to work with any other beginning hackers. Thank you!

    (also if anyone could give some pointers on how I can look for other "jobs" in the future. Thanks.)

    Ah, I'm sure lots would love to see your sprites here! We have our Art & Design section for you to check out if you want to showcase any sprite work you have, or make a show for commissions. :)

    Hey Myrrsha, welcome to PC! There's a lot of people here who like to do Pokemon sprites, that's probably the most popular art on here nowadays. Have you sprited any fakemons before, or are you more into recoloring and making the originals look cooler? I don't know much about spriting personally, but I admire people that can do it well because it seems like it takes a lot of time to even come up with an original sprite design. I'm more of a photography kind of guy nowadays. Anyways, welcome to PC if you ever wanna chat hit me up wit ha visitor message.

    You joined exactly for the same reasons as me, haha. I love pixel art, and pokemon sprites specifically, so you should definitely make a gallery in A&D here so I can take a look at them
     
    I sure wish I had tips for that sort of thing.. but alas even as an artist myself I don't have many tips for spriting-based jobs. It's tedious enough finding something for graphics artists without a very strong portfolio and of course experience working on various projects. Do wish you luck, though! We don't get many spriters here.

    And of course, welcome, Myrrsha. :-3 Hopefully you'll be showing off your work in the art forum sometime and of course lots of luck working on your hack when you get to that. Have a great stay!
