    Hey everyone. As you can probably deduce, I am a new member here!

    A little bit about myself: I am a university student studying economics. I am from Canada and I enjoy bear puns and clever alliteration. Recently, I have started to get into pokemon again(hence, why I joined these forums). For the majority of 2014, I sort of got out of the pokemon scene, just kind of got burned out from video games in general. So after a sort of hiatus from it, I picked up pokemon again at the start of 2015. All I have been really doing was ev-training and breeding in pokemon X. I also was doing online battles on showdown to see if I can pick up the meta game. I was heavily into competitive pokemon back in the platinum era and I really want to get back into it. So I guess I am joining these forums so that not only to discusssion related to pokes, but I guess I want to learn all the knowledge that I lack from my mini hiatus. I still don't own ORAS. I'll probably pick up that game towards the end of the week. Once I complete that game I will start to compete in OU and VGC 2015. I also look forward to seeing what the new features are like. Anyway, I am looking forward to make new friends and be an active member here! Thank you for taking the time to read this post!

    Hi there Tainers! Your signature size is just fine, no worries at all. :') Looking pretty good to boot.

    Yeah I've seen many people come back to Pokemon after a hiatus.. especially when it comes to the sixth generation games. Seems like it brought many older fans back to the franchise and for good reasons! The graphics are breathtaking now, such a huge step up from B/W/B2/W2. Hope you'll be able to pick OR/AS up soon as they're my absolute favorites. <3 Good luck re-learning battling and hope you end up having a great time here!
     
    I can easily say PC has its good share of Canadians here, one of whom happens to be the mod of this very section. Really awesome to see you here as well Tainers!

    You seem to be a competitive battler, so our Battling & Team Building section has everything you need to know as you hope to improve your battling skills. Sheep and Archer already covered what I was going to say so there's not much else I can leave for you, but maybe I might pop by and see you on PC's Showdown server one day? It's a bit crazy but you'll enjoy all the battles there.

    I'm open for a visitor message whenever you feel like it, but I wish you the best of luck with getting active and making new friends. Have a great time here at PC and I'm sure you will become a better battler yourself, so see you for now!
     
    Thanks for the welcome messages everyone! I'll be sure to check out the PS server as well as the battling section. On showdown I go by "Sabrina's Dream" so if you see me hanging out on the server, feel free to say hi/challenge me to a friendly battle!

    Well it's a little late, but better to welcome late than not welcome at all, eh? Let's hope you can find everything around here with ease, and if you can't you can always ask one of us to help you along the way! Congratulations on becoming one of many here in the community!
