You're not supposed to ask for the finish date of the hack or when the beta will come out, from last I heard. Still, as we're all beginners, you don't need to worry or stuff. :D

Anyways, are you making any new progress on the new beta, per say?
I don't want to rush you and destroy your progress, but any updates per-say that you may wish to talk about?

Ah, I suck at asking questions :(
Are you going to be a perfectionist and start testing for glitches? If so, it may save you from some people who like to spam glitches all over the place (ex. zel's Pokemon ShinyGold; a goldmine for reporting glitches that already are reported) but it will also get you tired.

Anyways, I hope you have a great hacking experience, that you finish this hack, and that you learn from it and become a better accomplished hacker (because everyone needs their roots, and no one's perfect at first :D )

Fakemon are a bad idea... whoever DP Pokemon should be a nice change... but i'll have to agree with zel that it would be really tiring and would take a lotttt of time....but if you think you're capable of it.. why not?
 
to make it easier on yourself, you could always use legendary slots (screw legendaries that are not involved in the generation whatsoever) for putting in some D/P pokes. and for pokes like ledyba, spinarak, plusle/minun, slugma, farfetchd, delibird, mantine, sunflora, spinda, smeargle, dunsparce, ETC that are useless as of yet, just replace them with D/P pokes.
 
It's not really hard to insert them really. I have the footprints of many, cries, sprites and other stuff. The only thing I don't know of is the Pokedex data. It'll be hard inserting them, but then again, I want to be different from any other hack. I see not many hacks have the D/P Pokemon in them, so I shall continue with them. I guess I should've put a poll up, but whatever.

As for updates, I have been concentrating mostly on my new tiles. They're coming along nicely, but still is hard. I want them to be perfect. That's what I wanted to be for the next update. And also, I want to change the look of the "battle frames"....I have no idea what they're called. You know the frames where it shows the Pokemon's name and HP? Yeah, I'm changing the way that looks to something cooler. Alright, enough talking...erhmm..typing, I'm off to answer PMs. See you guys tomorrow.
 
So far this is the best rom hack here i've seen and i hope there will be many more like these.
 
This game (as i said before) is the best game on these forums. Not only did you make a remake of a new game many ppl haven't played yet, you put it in the format of GBA which mean you must be extremly skill and it will take quite a while to finish the game. Also i love the tileset.
 
Treecko this is the best hack with D/P pokemon in it.I like tileset and the maps.
 
Don't get too carried away, it was a working progress of him and his team.
Eventually in about 2008 there will be another pokemon game on the DS (hopefully, unlike the R/S/E series where that was the only pokemon game excluding Pinball and MD) and D/P hacks would be more common.

Though yeah, this is a great hack but I can't see much because i'm doing my own, oh well.

Hmm... Treecko... I expected more.. Oh well; I shouldnt be talking since i quit first two weeks of my hack :(.. But; Since i left, there havent been any improvements the Community has seen... Maybe in galaxy prod and in PHO; but the rest of the community (as far as i know) cant see any improvements... All I see; is you are superglued in phase 1.5 (lol zel)..
Well, dont want to sound negative; but you should make the basic first beta (say; upto first or second gym) and then, fix up stuff; and continue going forward!! because i can see that half of these people are getting excited; and always asking 'Whens beta coming out?' and 'When will it be completed'
