    Hello there! I'm new to these forums. The main place I hang out at is the Marriland forums, but I stumbled across these forums while I came across someone on YouTube who was doing the "Ultimate Monotype Challenge". So I followed the link he posted and ended up here. And this place looks nice, so I figure, hey, why not?

    Might as well tell a little about me:
    -My name's Scott. I'm 22 years old (though I don't look it), and live in the United States.
    -I've been a fan of the franchise since the original Red and Blue came out, and I was a total noob back then. xP
    -Of all the Pokémon games that are out today, my favorite main series game is definitely Black 2 and White 2. I've played through them quite a few times, using lots of different Pokémon in each playthrough. I have three copies - my main White 2 game that I got near release and have most of my completion on (I have all the trainer stars except the one that requires you to get the Entralink level to a certain point), Black 2 (which I mostly have for the Challenge Key), and another copy of White 2 that I mostly use to play around on Challenge Mode and do fun challenge runs on, most of which i've documented on the Marriland forums. I know that's a bit excessive, but i'd rather do that than go through the trouble of having to use an emulator like most people who do Challenge Mode. Second favorite is probably Platinum (which I have two copies of also).
    -I've done a few Nuzlocke Challenges - Soul Silver, White 2 Challenge Mode and Black, along with a Wedlocke in Platinum. I've done quite well in them (most deaths was White 2 Challenge Mode with nine, followed by Platinum with eight). Soul Silver was the first game I completed one in, with four. Though White 2 is my favorite game as I mentioned above, my Soul Silver team is the one I feel I had the best connections with.
    -There are a few Pokémon LPers on YouTube that I watch, but my favorites consist of Marriland, Aquablade11, MunchingOrange and Haydunn to name some.

    So yeah, i'll check this place out every so often. Any questions you have about me? I'm welcome to hear them. =)

    But hey, welcome to PC! I noticed we are pretty close as far as age goes, I'll be 21 come October so yeah we definitely know that PC has people aged in their 20's who still love Pokemon, including myself. I've been a fan since I was only 7, and hard to believe it's now been 10 years since I played my first Pokemon game. And we do share something in common by having Black 2 and White 2 be our fave Pokemon games, but X and Y may change all that for me. I saw you posting in the Fifth Generation section already.

    And if you came for challenges, we do have a section for those located in our very own Challenges section where you can join loads of challenges, like Nuzlockes, monotypes and well, loads of great challenges. It even has its own chatroom so definitely check it out. Anyways, I'm sure you'll love everything PC has to offer, and remember to read the rules or contact a staff member if you need help, but I'm also looking forward to getting to know ya, so just leave me a visitor message and you may even make new friends along the way.

    Yeah, the Marriland forums are where i've been for nearly a year, and i've been into his videos since his Diamond Adventure way back. I've already done one Mono-type challenge there, which was Grass on White 2 Challenge Mode, with no bag items in battle, and Set mode, just like Drayano used in his on Black, and his Poison Mono in White 2. I have some of my challenges done there, including a No Evolutions run on White 2 Challenge Mode that i'm really enjoying. :P I like that one, it's fun playing through the game with Pokémon with low stats.

    I do like the original Black and White, but they're probably my least favorite of the DS era games (they would definitely be if it weren't for the insane amounts of lag in Diamond and Pearl, so it's debatable between those two). So for that it's B2W2 > Platinum > HGSS > DP > BW. Least favorite overall is Gold and Silver. And yeah I didn't mention X and Y there. I am looking forward to them indeed, but i'm moving into a university very soon, so it might be hard to squeeze in time for them. V_V

    I may as well mention some of my favorite Pokémon: Roserade, Houndoom, Jellicent, Scrafty, Scolipede, Hypno, Mamoswine, Aggron and Jolteon to name a few. I got to use two of them (Hypno and Mamoswine) in my Soul Silver Nuzlocke, and they were still alive even after I beat Red. That Mamoswine tore apart Lance's Dragonites with the Choice Scarf. :)

    But yeah, thanks! I have already seen the rules and i'm sure i'll enjoy my time here.
