    As title says : I'm Zer0, completely new here.
    I used to look for info, answers and such on the forum for a while now without being "part of it".
    I felt like it was time :)
    So hi !

    I have a special place in my heart for the Lavender Town arc of Kanto. With all the silly ghosts and Cubone especially.
    That's what brought me into romhacking actually. Bringing a special adventure to life with Cubone as the starter.

    Cubone is a very cool favorite Pokemon, I can easily see how a game would work well having one as a starter. Good luck on your ROMhack!

    Do you have a favorite aspect of the Pokemon series? (battling, catching Pokemon, story, etc)

    I Like the adventure side of the games.
    I remember playing my first PKMN game as a kid and this huge adventure ahead of me back at the time. A lot to discover, a lot to understand and learn. I thinks that's my favourite part.
    One thing I wish was more represented in the game franchise is the PKMN care as Brock does in the tv show. That's the kind of "bond" between human and PKMN I'll try to make others feel in the ROMhack I have in mind.

    Also, am a living dex kinda person :-p

    It would be nice indeed!
    For me, I wish there were more, both in official and fan games, about Pokémon's rights, independency for those who are less animal / pet like and more intelligent. The fan games who count a regular Pokémon as a character, involved in the story, are sadly too rare.

    Couldn't agree more.
    Pokémon communities and full ecosystems would be so cool for both intelligents and more "wild" ones in less humanly colonized lands.

    Funny thing, it is one of these Pokémon made a character in the Reborn fan game, who inspired me and thanks to which I have found and joined PokéCommunity! ^^

    Hey, That's really cool! I've never seen the show, so I don't really know what you mean about Brock, but I think I get what you mean in general.

    And I am also a 'gotta catch 'em all' kinda person lol. :p

    I did some shiny hunting a long time ago but it was mostly frustration and worn patience on my side. I saw it gets "easier" in the lastests gens but that is not something I'm a fan of. When I encounter a shiny I'm like "oh lucky !" but that's all :'-)

    Ah, fair enough. :p I'm a dedicated hunter myself, though surprisingly the best thing I ever found from my shiny hunting was actually a very good friend and fellow shiny hunter I met on these forums, and without that shared interest I may not have ever reached out to talk with him. Hopefully you can find people around here that share your interests in games as well!
