It's not Duck Hunt...it's Target Practice. XD

Meh, same difference anyway. Personally I want Laser Hockey and Ping-Pong, along with the Duck Hunt/Target Practice/Shoot Andy/Whatever game.
*gets shot by Andy* XD

Meh...for $10, what have you got to lose? Need another Wiimote anyway, might as well spend the extra $10 to get a game with it.

I'mawha? o_O;
You can read. XD

Bummer :<

It's a pretty good set of games, but it's only real purpose is to practise the use of the Wiimote ... so I doubt that it'll serve any purpose for you guys in January.

It's definitely worth the extra money though.
Yea, it does suck we have to wait. But, we did get the Wii first so that's something. XD

It's too bad you can't stick a Mii on them balloons, I'd stick yours on there. XD

Uh... Why don't we get a Wii Points case like that?

Same to you. Have a nice big Andy face on the balloon to shoot at. XD

I wish...that would give me a case for Wii Sports. >>

Yep, that's why I got it. Though, it was only actually £2 for me. Wiimote was £33, game was £35. I actually think UK got it cheaper for once. Then again, we probably pay a lot more for the Wiimote anyway.
$39.99 for the Wiimote here, and the Wii Play/Wiimote combo will be $49.99.

Ping Pong's alright, but there is no point to it after you get 100 rally's. But it's pretty good to play with someone else. Same as Laser Hockey, Billiards, Target Practice, and some game where you ride a cow XD

And Tanks is a pretty decent game too.

Ima get Excite Truck and Red Steel next weekend, but me wallet's losing weight fast XD;
TP I get to play tomorrow! 8D
Ray, can you get on MSN?

Lets see how fast this topic will go out the window...

For you that was living under a rock, or wasn't around the NFC at the Wii launch (US), GameSpot gave Twilight Princess an 8.8/10. Now that's the Wii version of the game. Today the score for the GC version came out, it got a score of 8.9/10. Some of us predicted that the GC ver was going to get higher, and shockingly it's true.
First off, I'd like to get to the point of the controls. Ok when Jeff Gerstmann (the dude who reviewed both) reviewed the Wii ver he said something in his vid review, in his words "... the features of the Wii controller come into play in a few different ways. Mainly you use the Wii remote to attack by shaking the remote you swing your sword. There's no finesse to it and it's just kind of a fancy button, but a button would be much more responsive.". So in other words, a button would be damn better. But, this is what he said on the GC review "...the Wii controls actually end up feeling more precise in a direct comparison.". He did say in the GC review that the button is better, but before he craped about the Wii controls and now he says the Wii controls is better? Does this mean he can go back and rereview the Wii ver of TP? I wish... <_<
Oh and one more thing, he said this in the GC review.
"You can't go wrong with either version of the game, but if you're still trying to decide, the Wii version is just a bit better."
Ok, so let me get this straight, the Wii version of the game is better yet it has a lower rating? Hm... now that's just a tad bit confusing. If the Wii version is better then wouldn't you think it should have a higher score?

Me, David and Robo talked about it a tad on MSN. And we pretty much agree that it was given a higher rating to spite the Wii. I mean look at what he gave higher, "Sound". Now I think he gave sound higher because he couldn't give it to anything else...
Gameplay: Couldn't give it there because he said the Wii ver is better.
Graphics: Can't go there because the Wii ver likely looks better (on top of that it has widescreen).
Sound: (More on that in a min)
Value: It's the same game, just the controls changed around and some things updated (I won't say "It's just a GC game with tacked on controls". I will say it was started on the GC and ended up for the Wii).
Tilt: Can't change this because both are maxed out (again both are the same).
So what does that leave? Oh yea, sound. And that's just what got higher. Could the difference in the two be enough to change the sound? I think not, because how much can you change on sound? So, we think Jeff gave TP GC a 9.9 just to spite the Wii ver of the game.

....Umm..Erica says hi. O_o And she has Coke.

I think most people were hard on the Wii version becaue it wasn't next gen. But we all knew that and no one was saying it was next gen so it shouldn't be docked marks because of it.

Tey are identical. Only the are mirrored version of each other. The GCN one lacks 16:9 output, but it features camera control, quick spins, and a few fixed glitches. Oh...and normal controls.

However, you can hold more items in your HUD in the Wii version.

I think they should have the same score, both have pros and cons. One is not better than the other; all personal preference.

In the audio department...how does the GCN version work? Do the remote speaker sounds just play normally, or not at all? They were kind of muffled on the Wii version at times, that all I can see for docking marks (but even then....it's stupid).

This is another reason why I don't read review, they tend to be biased.
And they usually end up contradict themselves, it's kind of funny.
Yea I also don't read reviews for games (unless it's like TP where I want to see WHY they said it was crap). I pretty much make up my mind due to different things (asking friends if they like it, I look it up up and see if it'll be a game I like and so on).
But I do go by 1 of 2 things when I get games. I go by the score on X-Play (if the game rates high and if I wanted it then I'll get it, like FFIII got a 4/5 and that pretty much was an "Go get it" for me), and I go by the score on Gamerankings.com. IGN's reviews are off (man they didn't like KH2), and GS' Wii reviews are... well crap.

I agree.

Remember that friend I mentioned? that got mugged
She got her Wii today, a friend took pity and bought her one (how I don't know)

I got Pokemon Battle Revolution, but I can't play it because it's Japanese game, not playable on US Wii.
Region lock sucks...
I had to sell PBR back to store...XD

....Umm..Erica says hi. O_o And she has Coke.
OMG. I want coke now. XD
And since the Coke HQ is here in Georgia mine must be better. XD

I agree.

Well, that's good that she has one. Still sucks that she got beat up, didn't get a Wii, and lost her job all in the same day.

Loser. You would have known that if you read my Facts. XD

Just had my first true multiplayer experience of the Wii.

Took it round to a friends, his mum said he can use the controller from the wii that he's getting it for christmas.
Tennis on the same team is definitely better then vs tennis.

Oh my God, Andy, you're like a man possessed when it comes to this. XD I've never seen you so passionate about something (bar the Wii, obviously XD) in all the time that I've known you XD
