... ALttP is from the SNES. ;_;
But anyway, I think I'm going to get MK64 then, at least it's going to entertain me more than any other VC game yet. I'm waiting for SSB too...
Snap. Looks like I got the 'S' out or something.
And by the way Trikip, first of all, congrats on your WiMAX purchase. XD
Anyways, down to business:
The default address is an address you type into your browser where you can access all of the device's settings, including WEP Key etc. Have you tried searching in the manual for the default address?
I looked up your device on Google and it pretty much does the same thing as the Nintendo thingymabob (it acts as a wireless mini-router, powered by the computer that it's connected to). I found a review by IGN that you might want to check out
here. Apparently, from what I've seen, it only reviews the DS setup, but the Wii setup must be very similar. If any of the above at the IGN review doesn't work, try re-installing the software that came with your Wi-Fi MAX. I tried looking for details on the device and all I found was a crappy official Datel site, which has only one news article related to it (hell, they even called the Virtual Console service the "Virtual Arcade"). You can try contacting Datel for any further info
here but I doubt it'll be of any help, seeing as how the site is, with no product info.
So, resuming, I suggest you check the manual, since the default address usually is 192.168.1.1, however I think this only applies to routers of the main industry. Tell me if you find anything in the manual, and I'll be glad to help you out a little more thoroughly. :P
EDIT: Oh hang on, I guess I was being a little stupid there. Since it's a USB device, it should have absolutely no default address, and plus, to access the address, you need to be connected to it, and since the MAX is for DS, PSP, and Wii, it'll be a little hard... :P
With that said, I think you should completely uninstall the software and try again by following each step very carefully. You could also try out the option of instead of making the Wii look for a wireless router, make it look for the USB connector. You can do this by going to Wii Settings -> Internet -> (New Connection, say, Connection 2) -> Wireless -> Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. Since the Wi-Fi MAX is very similar to the Nintendo USB Connector in functionality, this should work. I think that the main issue as to why it wasn't working was that you were making it look for a router, not a little dongle. :P Once again, sorry about the misleading stuff, and I hope everything turns out to be working just fine.
