NFC - Nintendo Fan Club

I will agree that Sony has some good stuff (Dance Dance Revolution, anyone?), but I was born and raised on Nintendo...so their games hold a special place in my heart.

Blaze's First post: I happen to like Sony (I guess I'm the only member of this club that likes Sony XD). The games are great and in some cases better then Nintendo's (me and my brother own more PS2 games then GC games). But I just can not stand Sony's hardware. That's where my liking of Sony dies. The hardware is crap, costs more then my dad's newest printer (that was 230 dollars). But I buy the systems for the games (PSP was a stupid move for me to take). I have never had a X-Box, but I am going to get a 360 and I might buy a few old games (Halo, Halo 2 just to see what all the hype is about). But I can't stand the 360's commercials. I mean you got that stupid one about everyone doing jump-rope, and all the rest of the 360 commercials are "OMG the graphics are sooooo good!!!", and I'm sitting there going "<_<;;".

Blaze's Second post: Arcy? You called your dog Arcy? How could you? XD

1. I too own more PS2 games than I do for Gamecube and XBox combined (meaning I have alot and I mean alot). However, I do agree that the PS2 hardware is pure crap, the only reason they have so many games is because alot of Japanese developers will only make games for them.

2. XD he is a really good puppy ^__^ he is a scottish sheepdog and he is very good at catching frisbee's ;P

Though he has no resemblence to the man he is named after XD

I like some Sony games too, me and my friend trade systems sometimes so we can play 1st party titles on each system. God of War and Shadow of the Colossus were good.

Nintendo will always be great, I have always had all of the systems of the generation except for this last one but this next gen I plan on getting all three mainly for 1st party and third party exclusives. The best 2nd party game this entire gen had to be Metroid Prime. I am a Nintendo fanboy and will defend it if I have too but I won't take the first shot.

What I'm trying to say is that Nintendo rules but I give credit where credit is due.

I totally agree, I am not gonna go to a sony loving fanboy and be like OMG NINTENDO PWNS j00!!!!!!!!

rofl no, I would totally wait for them to make the first move THAN do that XD

Emerald: Well Nintendo does have a Mario DDR. But to me that's another one of "Hey look, we can slap a Mario name infront of it and sell it to people". I am getting a bit sick of Mario stuff. And I do think Nintendo really should stop putting "Mario" on everything they can. Next thing you'll have is Mario NASCAR (sure MK: DS is a racing game but you can shoot people with things XD). XD

Blaze: I do think it'll change a bit when the Rev comes along. I mean lots of developers love the idea of the controller. And if the Shell works as good as I think it will then it'll be just like this gen when you have a game on all three systems (some people thinks that Nintendo will lose a lot of third party games because the controller is different so they'll have to more or less change the whole control thing and so on. But I think the shell will more or less put that to rest).
And in a way I'm glad. XD

I don't think the graphics are going to be an issue, I mean I played 360 but they arent THAT good I mean come on they arent going to be 100% life like for years to come ;P

I think the next step for the gaming consoles is internet connection and putting players IN the game. I mean who cares if it looks so real, I mean I rather have it not 100% lifelike, but have ME really controlling what is going on in the game.

I cannot wait to fight Ganon using that Revo Controller *omg screams happy*

I am going to see the nunchuck, because the shell is more of a optional component and would get Nintendo some extra profits

*Going up a few posts* I'm also what you call a Nintendo Fanboy. But I'm not one of them Fanboys that goes "OMG Sony suckz and Nintendo rulez" but I have no facts to back something up (sometimes I think them people do kind of slap a bad name for the systems, and all three has their own Fanboys that'll go like that). If someone is going to blindly say "The PSP beats the DS in the ground" you better have some facts to back up that claim.

Anyway I think the Nunchuck (I'd love to see both and if Nintendo was smart they'll sell all controllers with both the Shell and the Nunchuck, or at least a lower price if you buy all three in a set) would come up better. I mean I'm not saying the Rev will have tons more remote games then controller games (Remote = the controller by itself, the Controller = the shell). Sure the remote will get more games, but I think it will be more around half and half then like 70% Remote and 30% Shell. If Nintendo made a new move and made it only the remote and it'd hurt Nintendo a lot if they did that. No one wants to give up the old ways, at least not right away. Like the analog stick Nintendo didn't get rid of the D-Pad. Put a frog in boiling water and it'll jump out. Put a frog in cold water and then slowly turn up the heat then the frog will cook and it won't even know it.
What I'm saying is, Nintendo should go around 50/50 with their games.

And back to the topic. The nunchuck was used to show off with the remote so it should be the one that goes with it if only one is in the box.

I believe that either way, the Revolution remote will also increase the precision of a game that uses the shell. Not to mention a higher degree of reality either way....

I believe NIntendo will offer most of the remote controller games, but the 3rd parties are the ones that will be using the shell over the remote.

I'm not that sure about guns. I mean the remote can act as a gun. And if you live in the US then you know how whacked out everyone is about owning guns "OMG You own gun? You are very evil!!!". <_<
So do you really think they are going to put a gun (even if it's just for games) in the hands of kids? I think not.
But I would sooooo love to see a shotgun extension. Out of weapons the shotgun has to be at the top of the list (any FPS I play I use a shotgun if I can). I just love to walk right up to them and blow them away at point blank range (and incase any of you Anti-Gun people are out there, No I'm not going to do that IRL). XD

Well I bet there will be one that has a mic and headset with it (for online games).

Guess what Arcanine!? I HATE SHOTGUNS!!!!! >_<!!!!! Nah just kidding!!! don't kill me with the shotgun!!!! XD. Nah, I actually like a lot the shotguns too... I always try to find one in any FPS... makes you feel... powerful, XD.... guess .... SHOTGUNS ROCK!!! XD

Blaze: Nintendo even said the graphics won't be as good as the PS3 and the 360. They said it'll be a little better then the X-Box. But Nintendo isn't one that'll go way out on looks but have no game play.

Max Hunter: It's about the only weapon where you can blow people off their feet. And that's why I like it. XD

Exactly Arcanine!!! Give me those five! *raises hand* XD. Yea... you can't blow people off their feet with a handgun, nor machine gun... nor a bazooka! o_O.... well.... you can't!... you... push them away with the force of the explosion of explosives and a reactant that is released in the collision of the projectile, which starts the combustion. So... you don't blow them off their feet! o_O!! XD. SHOTGUNS ROCK!!! *is taken away again by the anti gun people* AAHHHHHH!!!!
