It could be fake, it could be real. I think the colors that you're talking about are is the fiberglass or other material that they used to make the mold of the controller, then they put on the final coat of paint. If the colors of the Rev on the scans that means that the Rev will be released in red, black, and green. What, no white!!?? I was hoping they would just release it in black and white.
 
Triffy: I think it could or couldn't be fake. I'd fly with me if them were prototype controllers. I mean you do see the controller and the analog stick one that was let out at the TGS on that second pic.

And on to a little something else. It's the colors for the DSLite.

Sweet, but no black, the Enamel Navy one is probably the one for me. I must say that this thing looks freaking sexy!! I don't get why the GBA cart would stick out though, of course because it's smaller but then the rumble pak and other accesories(if they make any more) would stick out too. Maybe they will make the accesories the same size as the GBA cover thingy.

Still, I like my platinum DS, and that GBA game sticking out is really fugly. ><
Anyone else worried about fogging the screens up when talking/blowing into that mic?

Actually I am Robo~ that's a really valid concern o_o Personally I don't like the microphone in either DS editions.

But these new DS's are so kawaii ._. I'm thinking I might actually buy one <<" I'm so gluttonous .-. At least I resisted the Micro.
 
The white one looks sooo cool. But I don't want to waste my money on something I basically already have. -_-
 
If I were going to buy one, I'd be Navy or White. I'm glad to see that the power button is a switch now. I've never had problem but I've heard of people who've accidently hit the power button and turned off their system mid game because it was near the control pad. O_o Big thumbs I guess.
 
I didn't really like the location of the power button either. I'm glad to hear that it is a switch now. Whenever I get some extra money I'm going to go buy it.
 
I just really think the DS Lite is a bad design. The location of the stylus and power switch aren't all that great, the mic is right between the screens so it'll fog them up when you use it, and the whole GBA games not fitting properly thing...

I think I'll stick with my regular DS. It might be kinda bulky, but it fits my hand perfectly and it's designed better than the Lite, IMO. =/

The location of the mic on the Lite, like you said, I'm not too fond of the screens fogging up. I do, however, like the location of the stylus on the Lite. Instead of being up top in a kind of hard to reach area while playing it's now located to the right and in the middle going in sideways which means that's about where my middle finger would be positioned while I play. This means that now all I have to do is pull the stylus out with my middle finger and it will be ready for play between my middle and index fingers, like I hold a pencil; I hope you got that.
 
I think online PictoChat would be the way to go. I mean nothing beats a forum or IM or Chat room. But still, having it would be nice.

And I don't like the spot of the mic, but I want everyone that owns MK DS to try something (this should end the whole "It's going to fog" thing).
Go go Balloon Battle, once the battle starts blow on the mic to blow up the balloon (and don't put your mouth right on the mic, you're not kissing the DS XD). I was a good 5-6 inches away when I tested one way (it'll pick it up that far). What worked best for me was 3-4 inches. But anyway, start blowing on your DS 3-6 inches away from the mic, if the balloon blows up blow on your screen that far away (try both top and bottom), see if it fogs up. And try it in the middle of the screens, where the mic will be on the Lite. And see if it fogs up your screens. Didn't for me, so I'm not going to worry about fogging up my DS Lite screens.
 
Yeah, I just tried that right now, it didn't fog up which surprised me I thought they would. Even if they did fog up I don't think they would fog up that much as to affect gameplay.

OMFG, say it ain't so, this is bad for me, I want it already. There are also good things about this I guess. They could make it better and it will be close to the release of the Rev.
 
I don't know. Having TP come out Nov is pushing it. Sure it'd be a killer if the remote wored as a sword if you use it in the Rev. But it's a game that everyone is waiting on to get. I guess Nintendo would have to look at it this way. If they let it out April (or whenever it's set to be out ATM) then it'll boost the GC sells. Or if it comes out Nov it'll boost the Rev sells. I'm sure they'll take the Rev, but if it comes out Nov it's not going to make a few happy.
