So far everything I've heard is that TP is gonna be at least June now. I'm waiting to see if Nintendo offers a preorder bonus before I preorder it.

I havn't preordered a copy of TP yet. I never preorder and I always manage to get a copy of a game, except when Gold and Silver came out, they sold out right away. I hope TP doesn't sell out, it will sell a whole lot of games though. Do you guys now how popular LoZ is in Japan? I know some franchises like Metroid aren't as popular over there but I think LoZ is popular everywhere, am I right?

Aww, that's pretty sad. It is nice to see SSBM get some recognition though, as the best selling GCN game ever ^^;
Seeing how it was on the top 10 selling GC games for almost 4 years, I'd say it has good numbers. XD

OoT's numbers surprise me. Didn't that break records?
Maybe outside of Japan. I don't think they're really LoZ type. Then again that is the list of Japan's top 100 selling games. Out of all the games that came out in Japan it made top 10.

But maybe with all this hype TP will sell a lot this time. Anyway, the TP delay until November was fixed now, it was an erroneous e-mail from Best Buy. Man, Pokemon sure does sell a lot everywhere, it's gold for Nintendo.

Time for another Rev prediction by me:

The GC only had one top selling game in the Japanese top 100 thing Arcanine just posted. My point is that the GC didn't introduce anything ''new'' or innovative so it only made one into the top 100 and it only sold 1.27 million. OK, now to my other point, the DS already has multiple million seller games in Japan in just over a year, Nintendogs, Brain Training 1 and 2, Mario Kart DS, and Animal Crossing, those are the ones I know, there might be more. Why do I bring this up if it's suppose to concern the Rev? Because the DS brought new and fresh innovative games on new innovative technology just like the Rev will. This means that Rev games will sell a lot more than GC games did if they are fun and innovative.

P.S.- Nice quote on your sig Arcanine.

Seeing how Pokemon is Nintendo's second most money maker I'd say, it's gold for them. XD

I agree, the GC had nothing new to it. The only thing I can think of is wireless controllers (Wavebird). But that's it. Go back to the past Nitnendo systems and every one of them had something new (mostly with the controller). I think the Rev will top the GC really quick. The GC held it's ground for what it could do. Think of how good it would have done if it had something new.
I saw members post "It's just going to be like the DS" well fine, let it be like the DS. Anyone seen the sells charts for the DS? It's done bown the roof off. Not even the "great" PSP can stand up to it. The system that's said to be far better then the DS is every way. The system that was said to take the hand held market from Nintendo.
(I'm on a roll with the DS I might as well go on XD)
People saying it was rushed to beat the PSP and so on. Maybe it was rushed, maybe they could have made it better, but looking at it's sells I'd say Nintendo did good. Hearing a system selling out isn't uncommon. But hearing that the system selling out a year after it came out is. For a system that sucks so much and has such a stupid idea like two screens and a touch screen it has lots of people buying it. If the idea of the touch screen was such a crazy idea then it must have a bunch of crazy people buyng it.
And this GS update would drive the PS2 and PSP fans up the wall
https://www.gamespot.com/news/6144079.html
Not only does it beat out the PSP, but it takes down the console king, the PlayStation 2. For 2005 the DS is top console seller, as well as the top game seller, as well as having 3 games sell over a mil coppies in 05 where the PS2 only had 1. And that is from a system that sucks?

Anyway back on to what I was saying. I think the Rev will put a dint in both the PS3 and 360. They have nothing to show, nothing new. Sort of like the GC, it didn't have anything new. Both the PS2 and Xbox played DVDs, both used full CDs/DVDs, both online pretty well, and so on. The GC just sit there and the PS2 and Xbox passed it up (I might add the Xbox sells didn't pass all that much, I think Nintendo will make the sells up when LoZ TP comes out). I don't think it's the case with the Rev, infact I know it isn't. Nintendo has new ideas, new things with the Rev (and this time not only with the controller), and things that might just blow the PS3 and 360 for a loop. It should pull in lots of older people, people that played the NES and SNES when they were a kid, and pull in the FPS people, as well as the sports people, and who knows what else (music, sword, flying and so on).

Everyone should read that link Robo gave. That was a killer, and it was soooooooooo funny. Talk about stupid, them ABC people need a lesson in "101, searching things before talking about them". Really, it is stupid and funny at the same time. Like I told Robo, to me they did it to hurt Nintendo. Some of the things in there is so far out of whack it's nuts. Well, you get the point, just read it for yourself, you'll be mad or laughing, or like me you'll do both. XD

On thing I noticed when reading the bottom of that page is...that guy really does not know how to use his commas correctly ^^;;

The thing that gets me is...when the guy started to talk to her, why didn't she just look around the room for a guy with a DS? Pictochat only has a range of like 50 feet, so the guy had to be in the room with them. Find someone with a DS and you've got your man. Or woman. Whatever it is. XD

I still say it was probably a 10-year-old or something. >>

Yeah, I'm pissed with ABC right now D:

thy r stoopid!!! fo'shizzle!!

...sometimes I just want to smash tech-illerate people with a hammer =D

I love how they had the "Internet expert" comment about how dangerous Pictochat is when Pictochat isn't even online. ><

I know! XD!

Sometimes adults just don't get it. If I were Nintendo, I'd be on ABC like a bear on honey >O

BAD PR over mis-information. That's slander. .-.

Well, I wouldn't generalize and say it's just adults. I'm sure that when our parents were kids, that they're parents just "didn't get" some of the stuff that they did.

I'd say it's parents that really just want an excuse for being bad parents. Parents are so meager nowadays and they let their kids do anything they want! And when something bad happens, the parents ALWAYS put the blame on the media or drugs or videogames or something. It's so dumb >_<

If I was Nintendo I'd sue ABC for putting a bad name for Nintendo. Or something, I mean the whole story is shot down by the whole "PictoChat is not online". Like Robo said, look around the room or where ever. I bet you it was some stupid 13 year old playing a joke on her. But everyone makes a big deal out of it.

https://www.gamespot.com/news/6144345.html
Well, I don't care for the DS browser. But at least it shuts up the PSP fanboys saying the DS can't get online. And if you go back in this thread I talked about a browser on the DS would be better then the PSP. Because on forums you can't type with the PSP, the DS you can. I don't even see how you put in the URL of a site on the PSP.
And the DS will be able to watch TV, sweet.... not. Really, is there a use for watching TV on your DS? I mean sure if you're sitting trafic and missing your fav show then I guess the DS TV would be ok. But at least it's all (both the browser and the TV) an addon. Meaning if you don't want it, you don't have to pay for it (think of how much lower the price of the PSP would be if it didn't have the browser or MP3 player, or photo viewer, and so on).
And in that link they say something about Pokemon...
"and Pokemon Diamond has been re-confirmed for release during the year."
I'm guessing that means it'll be this year or maybe the start of the next.

OMFG, slap those ABC people, Picto-Chat online? I wish!! That's false information, Nintendo could sue if they want but I don't think they will, like those people from the Phillipines.

The TV tuner is pretty much useless in the US anyway, it only picks up One-Seg signals so our analog signals won't work anyway. The browser is pretty cool and I might get it but I might not.

I told my brother about the ABC story and he was pissed. Then again most Nintendo fans would be, that whole story is so screwed up that it shouldn't have been put on the news. The whole backing behind it is PictoChat online. Read the book that comes with the DS, show me somewhere in there it says that PictoChat is online.

And you're right about the TV thing. But I was thinking, Nintendo doesn't have to have a TV tuner in the US. Just something like a Sking Box. A Sling Box is something you plug in your satellite/cable line into and then that goes into the TV, and you also plug in a phoneline into the Sling. With that thing you can watch your shows from your laptop, all you got to do is go to a site, put in your username and pass and it has your TV shows there to watch. You could be on the other side of the world and still watch your show. Nintendo could do something like that. They'd have to come up with something that doesn't cost 200 dollars (or they could make a whole other system just for something like that).

This part got me looking
"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was mentioned, as was the possibility of incorporating Revolution controller functionality into the game."
That is from the UK version of Nintendo Power, so maybe there's a chance that TP will use the remote.
