All this delay is is a way for Nintendo to make more money. I'm expecting them to say "Screw you" to the GameCube owners and release TP for the Rev just because it would boost Rev sales even more. >>

It really ticks me off because TP was supposed to be the game to have the GameCube go out with a bang, and now it's been reduced to a mere launch title for the Rev. =/

TP will be out for the GC. Nintendo has said it over and over again. But, having an add on thing for the Rev isn't out of the question. I do agree that Nintendo is leaving the GC hanging when it comes to TP. It'll come out, and everyone will play it for their Rev, and it won't make many GC sells (because why would someone buy a GC when a Rev plays GC as well as Rev games?). But it still doesn't change the fact that it's a GC game.

A current-gen title the killer launch app for a next-gen console? Hey, if there's a company that's gonna pull it off, its name's Nintendo.

I think that is true, if any company, Nintendo could do it. Also, the New Super Mario Bros. will be released on May 7th. At least that's what a scan of the new NP magazine seems to indicate.

Basically, TP is going to be a GC game, and if its played on the Rev, it will have extra capabilities? o_o'' Does that mean the Rev will have backwards capabilities?

Uh, Max? They announced a long time ago that Rev would be able to play GC games, and you could also download NES/SNES/N64 games. o_o

That's true, many people are looking up the PS3 and the 360 while they ignore the Rev and base their opinion on it from the GC. I saw something interesting for that baseball game on the GC that was cancelled and how it could be on the Rev for a launch title:

Sweet! A baseball game for the revolution. Who would of thought on how the the controller will become more useful than ever before.

I'm sure we'll get to swing the Rev-Controller for the bat or something. ^o^

The thing I'm most hoping for is a Star Wars Jedi Knight style game with the Rev's controller as the lightsaber. *drools* o_o

Ah. the lightsaber games everyone wants to play on the Rev, all this talk about them is making me want to play it now. I'm not a big fan of baseball or Star Wars games(gasp) but I sure do want to try out the controller. Since the Rev will go online, wouldn't it be nice if they mad an MMORPG? That would be awesome, Pokemon MMORPG anyone?

Yeah. Everyone wants a sword of some sort. =D I still want a Megaman game with Zero or someone in red, 'cause Zero died or something. >: But still, a Megaman game where there's going to be an awesome sword to swing around the heads of reploids and mavericks.. *drools with Robo*

Pokemon MMORPG .. that would be awesome. ^_^

Duck Hunt? Those things that had a Duck that flew around and you had to shoot it with those guns?

SHOOT YOUR DUCKS DOWN WITH YOUR REMOTE - GET THE REVOLUTION!

The ducks fly in front of you as fast as missiles. You have to shoot them down before they hit you and make you lose HP. Or that you get a huge bazooka and you can run around FPS style and shoot ducks down.

^ Now that won't be bad. =3

A Duck Hunt remake would be awesome!!

Man, it's hard to keep this thing active, I'll just post some numbers:

1) Nintendo DS: 52,099 (Annual: 403,902)
2) PlayStation Portable: 27,430 (Annual: 337,683)
3) PlayStation 2: 23,433 (Annual: 241,273)
4) Game Boy Advance SP: 5,553 (Annual: 57,890)
5) Game Boy Micro: 2,941 (Annual: 34,928)
6) GameCube: 1,814 (Annual: 32,391)

8) Game Boy Advance: 105 (Annual: 1,582)
9) Xbox: 92 (Annual: 733)

Got this from VoodooExtreme. This is from the week of February the 13th through the 19th in Japan.Sales for the DS should be low from the 20th to the whatever and then should spike after the release of the DS Lite.

Congratulations Arcanine on your three years. I didn't post in the propper thread because everybody knows you so well and I don't so I felt I would be out of place. What's funny is that I say "out of place" and look where I'm doing this in. Congratulations, 3 years is a long time for a forum, hope you stay for another 3.

Anyway, that is an interesting thing, it was way back in July of 04 when it was made so I'm guessing it's something that didn't make it into the DS or maybe another portable, like the GBA2. I don't know how it would have anything to do with the GBA2 though since Nintendo said the DS was totally different to their GB line and the GB line was going to focus more on regular gaming rather than innovative gaming. To me it seems like something they could do for the DS2, if they make one. They mentioned the Revolution which is interesting but I don't think it has anything to do with the Rev since the Rev's controller could already operate like that using two controllers.
