I wouldn't be too hard on them though. Those little stores have to get out there and make a name for themselves.
Morkula said:I think they're referring to the individual stores that sold them, rather than the whole Target and Walmart chains.
There's one in AL, a few hours away from me, but not like the got the money to get one. XDMegaLightBlaze said:None are in Arizona according to the map...
I plan on waiting untill the blue one comes out. (Or perhaps other colors...)
P.S.
100 bucks that the next post goes on the next page!
Nah, it's not going to happen. Nintendo sends the stuff to a Wal-Mart supply warehouse and that warehouse puts the stuff on trucks and sends them to Wal-Marts all around. Them saying "You can't send it to story 58740" is like saying you can't send any mail to Georgia.Morkula said:Apparently there have been reports that Nintendo has sent letters out to retailers blasting hte ones that sold the DS Lites early and saying that the stores that sold the DS Lites early shouldn't be planning on being restocked with Nintendo products anytime soon. oO;
And here I thought at the Wii's graphics were good enough. But then ATi comes out and says "The chip we gave Nintendo has a far far higher use". Now it's up to Nintendo to say "We're going to put them graphics to good use" or "It's not needed". But at least we know it's there, and maybe isn't as low as most thought.TRIFORCE89 said:So, what's the news for today...
ATi says that the graphics shown at E3 are just the tip of the iceberg. Call me stupid but I thought "tip of the iceberg" was a good thing, like icing on a cake. I've been wrong though. There's a whole ice berg beneath the tip that represents Wii's graphical capabilities. I still think that the graphics we saw at E3 were like that because they were just moded GCN dev-kits running off of modded GCN hardware (although, the graphics were still impressive)
And... Remember those faces that Miyamoto, Iwata, and Reggie had on that Wii sports demo. Miyamoto has said a bit more about it already, but now we have the creator of Wii Sports (and Animal Crossing) giving out some more info. These faces will be stored in the hardware and campatible games will uses the data. I guess that during online games only people who have your friends code can see your face.
How does the Wii get the picture? Is there a camera in the sensor? O_o
Revolutionary for a Pokemon game, that's not bad. XDwakachamo said:Pretty much quite the revolutionary move for the Pokémon games and such. XD
Pretty much the compatibility with the DS amazes me. Who knows what the Wii might do with the DS linked wirelessly together? I'm very excited about this indeed. n-n
I'm betting on gameplay. I don't think Nintendo is such a great big fan of movies. SMG was gameplay, TP was gameplay, Red Steel was gameplay, and even SSBB had gameplay (well some parts looks like gameplay). So looks like Nintendo would have gameplay for their Pokemon game.Is the Pokemon video over at IGN gameplay or movie? It looks like gameplay what with the status bars and such, but it looks a lot better than I was expecting. We should've had stuff close to that on the GCN instead they just tweak the N64 models a bit. But this? O_O
I thought that they kept them ugly looking on the GCN games so that they would still be rather point looking and truer to the anime. But this is good too. XD
As for SmaBura, umm...I'm hoping it's just a rumour because my best character is Young Link and I really don't see why they would have to remove some. If they do, then I'd like to see the clone characters go (yes, that would mean no more Young Link, I know). Better yet why not take the clone characters (so that I'll still have Young Link and Ganondorf) but give them an original moveset! :o Don't take out exsisting people if you're going to put in more third party people. I don't like that!
1.) I have all three! LOLSamurai X said:1.) Well, the DSLite is selling a lot already and New Super Mario Bros was the top selling game in May for the US in just two weeks of sales. The DSLite sold 135,000 in just two days so they expect to sell 500,000 in ten days just like when the DS launched back in 04. Brain age was the third best selller in May and the sales have tripled since the DSLite was released and New Super Mario Bros sales doubled.
2.) In some Pokemon related news they have some pretty good information about it on this page over at IGN so make sure to read that.
It tells you how the Pokedex works and it gives you some info on the Pokewatch and what everyone(most everyone) wanted is back, they have a day/night cycle again and they are split up into five times: morning, afternoon, evening, night and late night. Different Pokemon will appear at different times like in Gold and Silver. This got me even more excited on D/P than before, it says it could be the best Pokemon games yet. It also tells you about a new professor, Professor Nanakamado who will help you complete the Pokedex. Get this though, it is rumored that 90% of the Pokemon have evolved, that's a lot of evolutions. It also says that Nintendo is going to "unleash D/P on the masses over in Japan this week at the World Hobby Fair", demos and first chance at gameplay I suppose. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.
3.) Here's a nice thing on the Wii that I want you guys to look at, it's good news fopr the Wii if it's true, it is in a magazine so it has a good chance of being true.
