///I Think they have stopped arcade games. I think any way.///
(about some thing else)Sony don`t even make the games and look at there controller and there new PS3. One looks like a moon and the other looks like a speed bump, even thougth they don`t even make the games.

Meh, they just make the consoles, the others make the games based on the mainframe settings of the console. Which sucks 'cause that leaves a lot of room for gaps and brokenishness and uh... bugs. =P

Nintendo does waaay better, making games for its own systems gives it better chances of making BETTER games, which it does. =)

I like how Nintendo makes their own games, and the best ones that knows about the power of the Nintendo system and what it can do is the people from Nintendo.
But I wish they'd have more third party support. I mean they got very little, most games goes to the PS2 and X-Box. I just hope that changes when the Rev comes around.

Something that bothers me... is that Nintendo doesn't have any RPG/action/adventure modern games. Just for example: Fable of the Xbox... or even Psychonauts... Nintendo has always made games with the same characters... I think I'm the only one that thinks that Nintendo needs new characters and new games... o_O... not that I'm now against Nintendo, take it like a suggestion.

You're right.. we always see Pokemon as an RPG, and Megaman BN/Zero for the action slash RPG, and uh... that's probably it.

Fable in the X-Box sucks. I've played it in PC at the Games World store a few days back, its LOT easier and funner on it. =P

Hm, we should see a PROPER action RPG in the style of Fable. Megaman Zero running around like that and slashing properly, like in Command Mission.. that's going to be good. We need games like that.
Also for Pokemon, won't it be awesome if the trainer could run, walk, jump and do all those cool stuff?

Yeah... the only game like that is The Legend of Zelda... but I think Nintendo needs new games... that would make some older gamers ((not that old... maybe some that do not like so much TLoZ or Mario Bros.)) go to Nintendo.

Mario is Nintendo's MASCOT! You'll probably never see it on another console... unless I'm very mistaken and he's in some other console already. =P

Nintendo does need some new characters and new games. Or at least less Mario games, they are sucking Mario dry with all the games they have with him.
Nintendo really does need some new game character(s) out there. I bet more people (as in hard core game players) like Link from LoZ better then Mario. Because, you rarely get to see Link. And when you do the LoZ games are great. I mean you don't have link in a Go-Kart or playing Golf.
Nintendo really does need someone new.

I agree that nintendo does need some new characters and new games, Hopefully they do that and create new types of characters and new games.Because Xbox and ps2 has got more games and characters, Hopefully If nintendo do not do this on the gamecube, they will do It on the revo, But at the end of the day were going to have to wait and see.

My bro likes Mario... but he doesn't like games like now... I mean... he LOVES the games of Mario of the past... when he rocked in the NES... Super Mario World... and even the one of Yoshi Island. He likes too the Mario games of Golf and Tennis... but he hates games like Mario Sunshine. And Link isn't the kind of character that would go in a Go-Kart... or playing Golf... Link is one of the few reasons why some people still love Nintendo so much.

That's why I plan in working for Nintendo and make new characters and games when I grow up... o_O sounds crazy but yes!!

I don't think Nintendo need new characters at all, they just need to use the other ones more often, I like mario kart. mario 64 and mario sunshine and a couple of the sports games...but there are so many it won't be long until we're playing "Mario superstar swimming" or "Mario thumb wars" or "Mario wrestling" or some cray crap like that.
It's not like they're short on characters, they have hundreds XD Look at the choice in super smash brothers, they're all nintendo's characters!

I suppose they are making other games though, the other day I heard about Metroid Prime Pinball and it's supposed to be great fun ^_^ I might just get it :P

OK, I'm bored of typing.

Yea... but the same characters doing almost the very same over and over again... some players are getting tired of playing a game, and then to play another one of Mario and the same sport. Ok... Nintendo has all those characters... but most of them are form the past... and reviving them would be like... like reviving an old thread here. Mario got loved when they made it 3-D... but now with all those games repeating over and over again... some are starting to leave Nintendo because majority of the games are Mario games and a sport... and want to play Super Mario Bros if real Nintendo fans. Or they would go and play Xbox or PS2.

I'm not saying that the Mario games like Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and Mario Party are bad... I like them very much... but many people, some older, are starting to leave Nintendo. To me... the only games I can think right now, that are making Nintendo stay where it is, are Metroid, a few of the new Mario Games, and TLoZ. What Nintendo does is like... while they make a Metroid game or TLoZ game ((which are the ones that are loved the most)) they make Mario Games... many Mario games. I still can't believe they now made a game of soccer for Mario... and the worst of all to me... is that you just use one character, AND THE KEEPER IS A CROCODILE OF THE OLD DONKEY KONG GAMES!!!! ¬¬!!!. They should have made it like, atleast, a 3-on-3 soccer match with just Mario characters.

I think the Mario games are great and even though you think gamers are getting tired of the same old characters the number of copies they sell are still high and Nintendo is getting loaded from those games.

Maybe they are getting old but they sure are fun and Mario is like the representetive of gaming.

If you ask some average joe who is Mario they will be like "that guy from Nintendo" but if you ask them who is Master Chief they will be like " who is that?"

I think now more new people will answer who's Master Chief... and even tell you all of his story and serial number... while some older people will say the opposite... knowing more Mario. The kids that still play the Mario games are because their older brothers ((a case like me and my bros... well... kinda... because since I was a few months old... my brothers always made me play with them games in the NES)) tell them to play them and meet the "Jumpman".

I don't mind Mario Kart, it's like the one Mario Sport (I guess you could call it a sport) I've played them and I don't get bored of them. But all this Mario stuff reminds me of Star Wars. I was watching Icons on G4 and one of them was about Star Wars games. And at one time they had a ton of Star Wars games and a lot of them just slapped "Star Wars" on it just to get sells (like a chess computer game, they made it Star Wars to get people to buy it). And a lot of them games wheren't all that good. I think it's more or less the same with Mario stuff. I mean it's crazy how many Mario games have come out in the past few months or will come out in the next few months. They really do need to make new characters and pull back in some of the old ones.

Here are two links below that Blaze gave me over MSN last night. So I thought I'd post them (remember, Blaze found them, not me XD).

Nintendo should make an Ice Climbers game. They only have what, one Ice Climbers game? Maybe Ice Climbers would become popular. Nintendo could concentrate on older characters that haven't had many games lately.

Have any of you guys heard anything about the next GBA, here's something to look at:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gameboy

If you look at Gameboy Cubed it has some things about it. What's fishy about this is that in the first sentence it says "rumored to be in development" but then later on it says that Nintendo has finished prototypes. Also releasing it next year with the DS still young might not be a good thing.

What do you guys think?

I think the Wiki is off the mark ;O

Anyways~ I'm like counting down the days now until Nov 14th X3
