May I join, Arcanine? I have a Nintendo Gamecube, and I use/play it a lot. I was thrilled when I got it three Christmases ago. :D Wow, it was that long ago? Jeez, I think I'm getting old. :surprised

Andy, you could not be more wrong with your statement about the 360/PS3. They are clearly not better. I can't believe you would classify all three of the systems together, that is totally wrong.

Nintendo clearly knew they were going to do not so well on Gamecube. They thought consumers wanted a more family oriented system, and it would attract the casual gamer. From seeing how poorly the sales were, they caught on to the fact that Gamers want more of a eye candy (not entirely) but more of a system that would whoo you.

What would you rather have... 360/PS3 Graphics (where you see sweat which is not something I really want) or a system that has not the best (but very close in detail) and actually puts you in the game.

Controllers can be so confusing nowadays, especially when trying to get the view the right way. We now have a shot of living the characters we are so infatuated with. I mean just imagine using that revo controller as a lightsaber, while dueling Darth Vader.

That is something none of us can comphrehend yet. I cannot believe you would question Nintendo's judgement. They tried to see what gamers wanted and clearly now they have a plan, and I am sure that after this generation war Nintendo will be on top.

Regis File put it perfectly when he compared Nintendo Revolution to the Apple iPod. I mean Microsoft had their own fancy mp3 player and so did Sony (The Walkmen which was the king, just like Playstation is for now).

This clearly demonstrates they are using the same plan Apple did when releasing their iPod and its competitors are too stupid and blinded to notice it.

Viva la Revolution

Sure you can join Scipio. Welcome to the Nintendo Fan Club.
And same here, I got my GC 4 days after it came out (I had to wait to Christmas because it was a Christmas gift). And getting that was like getting everything I wanted. I loved SSB so I mainly got the GC for SSBM.

*Pats Blaze on the back and smiles* Do you know what I've found out about Ninjas? They are very invisible to people. But they are also very very blind. *Smacks Blaze on the back of the head* Do you really think I'll say the PS3 and 360 is better? Are you forgetting who started this club? XD
And Ninjas are blind because they can't see quote marks in posts.

"HA HA HA!!! Look at how much better the PS3/360 is better. Nintendo doesn't even have enough backbone to even try to stand up to the PS3/360!"
See the quote marks? XD
That quote is from Sony and Microsoft Fan Boys/Girls on what they'd say (and you know they'll say it).

But I do classify all three systems together. Because all three are game systems (the Rev might be different but that's like saying the DS isn't a hand held because it has 2 screens and 1 is a touch screen. But the PSP is a hand held because it has only 1 screen and no touch screen). Now if you want to call the Rev a game system and a PS3 and 360 a computer then I'll go with that and won't put them together. But when you come right down to it, all three are game systems. (And yes I know what the controller can do, I made the first post in here about the controller XD)

;P

Ninja's aren't blind, we just move very quicly for teh kill XD

Anyways, I think Sony and Microsoft are such big companies that they cannot concetrate on gaming which Nintendo does because it basically is their own business.

They might have a few television shows and movies in the works, but Nintendo is clearly the most focused. And classifying them all as the same thing is stupid *karate chops Andy*

Nintendo's system is Revolutionary, and we all know that Nintendo has made it clear they are going in another direction.

Nintendo = Gaming Hub
Microsoft/PS3 = Computer Hub full of computer errors (which i am sure will happen)

They move too fast they fail to see small things. XD

And how else would you classify them? Do all play games? Yes. Do all have controllers? Yes (the Rev remote is still a controller). Do they all use CDs? Yes. Do all three go online? Yes. And so on. Sure the Rev might be different in some ways. But all three are game systems, and thus they're classified as such. Sure the PS3 and 360 have things like internet, MP3 player and other un-useful junk. But their main purpose is to play games.

Please don't argue, Nintendo is supposed to bring us all closer together. xd

You could say what you want to say but the truth is that Nintendo is competing with with Sony and Microsoft so you have to classify them with each other. Sure Nintendo is taking a different approach and aiming for a different audience but they are in competition and they are all game consoles. It's like saying the PSP and the DS are not in competition just because they are different, we all know they are both handhelds and because of that they are in competition and must be classified together.

PS3: Plays games
360: Plays games
Rev: Plays games

Oh, and Samurais are cooler than ninjas, w00t!

Rev = Has compatibility to the GBA and DS probably.
PS3 = Maybe with the PSP... maybe not.
360 = Its not got anything to link to at all.

So Rev is the best to go with for most of multiplaying stuff then, ain't it?

May I please join this club? I am pretty sure that I was a member here before my inactivity, on an old username. ^^;

Also, Supreme Edgeboy Max, it has been known that the PSP is able to connect with the Xbox360, though I am unsure if anything has been mentioned in regards to cnnectivity between the PSP and the PS3. And with the revolution, I am nearly positive that I read an article about the DS being able to connect with the revolution on either Gamespot or IGN, but nothing has been mentioned about the GBA I believe, and I personally doubt that it will be able to. =/

Edit: Beaten about the GBA. =P

GBE *laughs*

I am sure Nintendo will have two new systems for showcase at E3 this May. I mean Nintendo is hammering the handheld market to make sure Sony gets virtually no market share.

I mean in the end Nintendo always does make the best profits off of games (because they are the only one who believes quality over quanity).

Such a shame, and by the way Andy having internet capabilities doesn't make it a gaming console XD

LOL it would not anger DS owners.

Look how many new versions of iPods come out all the time :3 people just keep rebuying XD

Yes but an i-POD is different. In a game console or hand-held certain software runs on certain proccessors so DS owners will be pissed because they can't play their games on the GBE.

Edit: Well, we've all been waiting for it and it's finally here, IGN has launched it's Revolution Channel, W00T!!!!

https://revolution.ign.com/

The console on the top of the page looks cool too.

You must've not see that PR just posted that XD

ZOMG! 0_0; My my mom JUST got home and ... I have a copy of AC: WW in fron tof me <33 And if I weren't sick, then I'd had to have waited until 3 to get this ;D But I didn't skip school so I could get it early <_<;

Because I'm excited, I'm gonna give you a little beginning play-by-play for 'ya. Now I just have to unwrap it XD

_ _ _ _____ First Impressions _____ _ _ _

Booting Up-
~~ Ok, well, I'm starting up my DS =D Get to the 'ol "control center" view...and Animal Crossing is in the DS card option...with a cute little green leaf, albeit there's a bite out of it. *click*

Starting the Game-
~~ Oooh! Acute little animal voice says "Nintendo" like in the GC version <33 'Touch to Start' *touch*

Getting Settled in-
~~ This little emperor penguin thing that walks around is asking me if I've come to play... Well, yes...yes I have! Heh. I select "New Game" from the menu.I find myself with Kapp'n in a TAXI?! Boy! He sure did have a career switch 0_0; And, so he starts asking me the time...and my name [Paul] which is quite 'burly'. Anyhoo, now you can of course use the touchscreen to type. And you can highlight/copy/paste text ^__^ That feature I hadn't read about~

Now I need to name my town .-. My GC version's name was "Plantore" but I need a different one now...Tokyo! Yeah~ I was gonna name it Japan, but no. XD

Now...after lots of questions and a long ride...I'm in TOKYO BABY!

The Town-
~~ Kapp'n pulled up right in the front of Town Hall, where Pelly talked to me. And showed me that my house is in the top right hand corner of the map ;O I miss the A1 type acres on the map ;~;

Once outside, it looks like I got Cherries in my town! Yum X3; now to walk over to my house... I like the graphics ^^

ugh. my house .-. It has a candle on a box, and a stereo XD Not exactly the best accomidations~ D; Anyways, I wanna play more indepth now...maybe I'll write more later ;D

Yeah, sorry, I didn't see that you posted that, PR. AC: WW sounds awesoommee.

I'm still wondering what they're going to call it.

I remember this year the last week before E3 seemed the longest to me, it was like an eternity!! And now I have to wait until May, I hope some details leak out before E3, it would be better for Nintendo to unveil it at E3 though to surprise and steal the show. Or we could make it work out for everyone and travel through time.

What do you guys think the secret thing Nintendo is going to unveil about the Revolution?

Bayleef: Yea you can join the club. Welcome to the Nintendo Fan Club.

Nice IGN page. It's about time they got one up and I wish GameSpot would also get one up.

I am far too lazy to reply to all them posts (shocking isn't it? XD).

I really don't know what Nintendo will show off. To me the best thing they could show off that goes with Rev is VR as well as TV (like I said, VR makes some people sick). The controller and a VR headset would be killer.

Ok here's a few links,
https://www.gamespot.com/news/6140790.html
^ We done know about that, but it also has something on Nolan Bushnell (Made Pong), Hideo Kojima (made Metal Gear Solid), and Toru Iwatani (made Pac-Man).

And this from RR.
https://www.revolutionreport.com/articles/read/211
It's about, LoZ: TP could be on the Rev.

Along with PR's Rev idea topic. I'd like to add... Do you guys think LoZ: TP should be on the Revolution?

Here's my views on it
Why it should be: It'd be a great starting game for the Rev. That as well as SSB would make a great jump start game for the Rev. Who wouldn't run out and buy a Rev just to play LoZ: TP?
Why it shouldn't be: TP was said to be the last great CG game. It'd go out with a bang with one of the best games on the GC (the GC came in with SSBM, it went out with LoZ: TP. Both great games). Nintendo will walk away from this gen not looking like a dead set loser because of no great games (the GC has good games, but there's a difference in good and great), and the last great game no one could remember (I can't even remember it).
To me, LoZ: TP should be on the GC. Give Sony and Microsoft one more good kick in the butt for this gen.

LoZ: TP has about 100:1 chance of being on the 'cube. There's no need to worry ourselves about that XD

To get it on the Revolution, they'd have to amp up the graphics [All new graphic models! =O] and subsequently rework the game to have extreme functionality on the Rev's controller. Hehehe.

I already paid off my AC debt XD But that means Nook's shop is closed tomorrow for upgrades .-. How sad~
