That is, once you approve it. It took you ages to approve mine. XD

Man, you people are lucky to have a Wii. I still want one, but I don't have the money to get one. =/

I have played it though, and bowling. Well, what Esupio said, since that's what I do. XD

I loved Manhunt, totally loved it. And I think it could be awesome on the Wii, stealth kills using the Wiimote and nunchuk would just be amazing. I'd buy the game just to do those, it'd be a definite purchase if they can build upon the gameplay from the original.

And getting Rockstar on board is a huge coup for Nintendo. Here's hoping for an exclusive GTA game somewhere down the line.
*Pats Dawson* you'll likely be the only person in here that gets Manhunt 2. XD
But oh well, you can tell us if it's fun or not. XD

Well Robo can also approve now so if it's a long wait then he's also to blame. XD

Lucky.... I wanted mine launch day. It was a really really really painful 2 weeks of wait for me (I'm one of the big Nintendo guys on PC, and I had to wait what felt like forever to play the Wii).
But even if you had the money the Wiis are still pretty hard to find (the day I got my Wii was the only day I saw a Wii console, I haven't see one for sell yet).

And bowling rules. It's my fav WiiSports game. XD

I got my Wii in early January, cause my aunt works at the Wal-Mart where she bought it and she got a discount on it, I just had to pay close to 300$ for it. {I think}

My dad and sister just love Wii Sports Bowling. Dad's a pro at it. He always seems to get sidearmers in Baseball that he can't beat, luckily I don't get sidearmers when I play. {Although I may see some in the future}

While my sister was playing Wii Training on the boxing part where you have to dodge the punches the guy throws at you, she pointed out that the guy was sounding like he was saying the F-Word while he was punching.

hehe bowling was fun, but i got to be a pro at it real quick so i got bored of it ^^; I'm now trying to master tennis and boxing.

I never really liked Boxing much. All you do is punch and dodge... Boring, IMO.

I finally have something to talk about.

Guitar Hero III is probably going to come out on the Wii and maybe even the DS although I don't know how it would work when they have double frets and double chords in the game. Anyways, I really like Guitar Hero so this is good news for me. It's also nice to see developer supporting Nintendo.

I didn't really like Manhunt though, maybe if they come up with more ways to kill people then I might consider getting it if I see some average reviews.

hehe yeah, apparently from Nintendo Power, Red octane said the guitar hero would be "rocking out on all major consoles."

Outstanding Achievement in Story and Character Development: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Outstanding Achievement in Game-Play Engineering: Wii Sports
Outstanding Achievement in Game Design: Wii Sports
Hand-Held Game of the Year: Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day

Ah. Gone are the days when Zelda could walk out of there with seventeen awards.

Yay for Wii Sports. However, what's with Gears of War? It won Animation, Art Direction, Male Performance, and Visual Engineering. ... That's all pretty stuff. When did gaming become about graphics over gameplay? Wii Sports won the game play awards yet GoW won the two big ones because it was a pretty game. Honestly, I know I haven't played it but it really did look like anything too spectacular. I don't even recall it having that much hype. It looked like a standard game. I'm not saying Wii Sports should've won. But...anything other than GoW.

Well, AIAA is down. Next is GDC. Both are highly respectable. One you have to pay to be nominated, the other you don't. So, let's see how GDC plays out. Maybe Capcom will clean up.

Click on that little letter at the bottom right, then click on the "Create Message" tab. And then click on the "Address Book" an then click the little left over thing (or just click the minus button) and there's your Wii number.

Ah, thanks much ^^

I got mine for Christmas. I was going to get one on launch day, but we didn't get to Target in time for one of those ticket things. Then my mom waited early at Target a couple weeks later, and got one

Yeah, bowling gets a little old. It's pretty funny though, this may be just the way I swing but if I go over 2 clicks to the right and swing normally I get a strike every time (well, 85% of the time). So I moved on to Tennis too. What I can't figure out is why sometimes the ball goes really fast, and sometimes normal speed, I hit it the same every time.

About time too. XD

I heard something about Guitar Hero being on the Wii. I thought it was a little strange because I can't see the Wiimote being used as a guitar. But we'll see how it goes.

And I can see many Sony GH fans bashing the Wii ver only because it'll be different (sort of like how you got to have a guitar to play Guitar Hero, not using a normal controller).

At least Nintendo got a few nods...
And yea, it sucks how not even a Zelda game now days can win top awards. Them days went by fast when a game called "Gears of War" hit the market. GoW is the new big thing in the gaming word, not playing that or giving it high marks then someone is wrong with you.

To all of you wondering, no I haven't played it (I've come to this strong hate for it, mainly because that game gets top ratings and TP gets the back seat). But he has *points to Samurai X*. XD

But I totally agree Triffy. It pisses me off that this single game can come along and rip apart the whole normal system. IMO TP, Red Steel, and other Wii games would have gotten a higher rating on GameSpot if everyone there wasn't too busy playing Gears of War. I'm not going to go and drag up the whole 8.8 GS rating (for all of you that want to know what I think about it, go back and read my post, it's on page 93), but it's funny how GS has some of the lowest rated Wii games out there. The average rating on Wii games is higher on most other sites.
Sometimes I wonder if Halo 3 will get a higher rating then GoW (on GameSpot at least).

And since we were sort of talking about TP...

Now wasn't that quick?

Gears of War is THE most overrated game ever. Seriously. I played it at my friend's house and was bored to death by a generic third-person shooter with pretty good graphics (if you like staring at gray and black all the time). Of course, I hate shooters, so I probably shouldn't judge...but it wasn't any different from the other shooters I've tried. And Gamespot gave it Game of the Year because of the graphics, the fact there was a chainsaw in it, and (get this) the fact that it has no character development and the characters are all lunkheads that cuss at each other and have the mental capacity of twigs, basically.

The problem with the majority of "gamers" today is that if it isn't an all-out violent gore-fest with every other word being a cuss word and "ZOMG WOW TEH GRAPHICS", then it's automatically "kiddy" and "sucky". What happened to gaming being about having fun?

So yeah, my little rant. >>

Anyway, I made my Wii Sports case tonight. It turned out okay, but I kinda had to mess around with it to get it to work. But it works, and that's all that matters. XD

Do you guys think GameStop or EB Games would let me trade in a regular DS for a used DS Lite? I doubt the would, but do they do that?

Anyway, what are your thoughts on Diddy Kong Racing DS? It got an okay review on IGN, so I was kind of dissapointed. It got a 7.1 I think.

You could trade it in, but you'd still have to pay the difference. I think DS's only get like $30 though, so... =/

I wanted DKR, but after hearing about the crappy touchscreen stuff and the crap that they did to it, I'm not sure if I'll get it or not.

Are you pooping serious?! $30 for a DS? I can just imagine how much you'd get for a GBA...

Do stores still even have DS Lites? When I checked Amazon they didn't have any, and the only ones in the marketplace were $160 up.

Well, you can always check TradeStop.com , they [sometimes] have how much stuff trades in for at Gamestop/ EB Games

meh i don't like to bother with fancy upgrades to handhelds, usually the trusty original model is good enough for me. (i'd write more but typing using the wiimote is annoying >.<)

Nobody has said this yet, but nintendo have sent out the online dev kits!

https://www.cubed3.com/news/6789/1/Reggie_Talks_Wii_Online,_Pokémon_
I just wanted to make a quick comment on this...
It's about flippen time! The 360 had online at launch, the PS3 had online at launch. Japan had to wait till PBR came out, and everyone else outside of Japan is tapping their foot Sonic style saying "I'm waiting...". They should have had the online devs out there far sooner.

And now that brings me to a nice topic I would like to have a little talk on. I know most of us comment on new news things (thus making the NFC more of a info thread then a normal Nintendo club), but we never really talk about topics. So I would like to see if we can get one going (or at least see how fast it dies...).
We're all big Nintendo fans, we all own a Nintendo system or two. We all hope the best for Nintendo in the console race. But the topic I would like to talk about is... What would you like Nintendo to change? What probs you see with Nintendo that you wish they would change? Maybe it be online, games for the Wii and DS, or even able to change the background on your Wii Channels menu. Anything and everything under the sun, whatever you would like to see changed (on any of their systems) start naming them out.
