  • I think we have room for one more.

    Name
    Ken Ishigaki

    Age
    15

    Gender
    Male.

    Appearance
    Ken is tall for his age, already 6' 0". His face is rather plain-looking, lacking any distinguishing features. His hair is dark brown, but cut incredibly short, practically shaved off. His eyes are green, a bright green of a similar color to grass. He is large and muscled, especially in his arms, due to his lifestyle and strict training regimen. Due to his eating habits, he is also overweight and heavy, particularly around his stomach. He wears a dark orange vest, with a grey undershirt, black pants with a white obi belt, and dark green sandals. His forehead protector is attached to his obi, like a belt buckle.

    Personality
    Stoic and calm, Ken is a man of few words. His large size and blank expression lead to people either being nervous around him or thinking he is unintelligent. In actuality, he is a generally nice and even fun-loving guy. He doesn't show emotions very often, but he's smart and analytical, and more than willing to help people out. He believes in an honest work ethic, being kind to people, and helping others just because it's the right thing to do.

    On the other side of the coin, he has anger issues. Although he won't show it, he is easily angered by things, and holds onto his anger for a long time. He has found an outlet for his anger in training, and will often go all out in combat situations. Unfortunately, this means he is easy to taunt and trick into doing something foolish, and despite his intelligence, he is easy prey for both genjutsu and more mundane traps and tricks.

    History
    A couple from Iwagakure moved to Takigakure and later had a child. This child was Ken's father. Ken's mother's family had been natives of the Waterfall for generations. Ken had an average, uneventful childhood, his mother owning a general store, his father a town guard. From a young age, Ken wanted to be a ninja like his father, to help and protect the village. His fairly uneventful life allowed him to train himself for becoming a ninja, at the expense of a normal childhood or friendships.

    There's not much else to say about him. With his physical and spiritual training, he never had much social interaction, and with no great tragedy or mystery in his life, his goal is simply to be the best ninja, and the best person, he can be.

    Plans for being awesome
    My plan is for him to be a master of taijutsu, with some ninjutsu for support abilities. With his great chakra control and physical strength and stamina, he would be a primarily close-range melee fighter, with great strength to aid in mundane tasks. His toughness makes him a good protector, with ninjutsu designed to increase his defensive powers. Although he knows almost no genjutsu, and it would be his greatest weakness.

    Sample Text
    Ken returns home after his exam, ducking inside the kitchen. His parents would both be working, so he took the time to make himself lunch. Well, second lunch. He allows himself a slight smile, thinking back on the day. It had been eventful, and tiring, too.

    ~~~~
    The instructor faces Ken, taking aim with his kunai. Blunted for safety, of course. Ken stands ready, his hands curled into fists in anticipation. The instructor throws the pair of knives, striking Ken in the shoulder and chest. A puff of smoke later, a strawman dummy falls to the ground, the kunai stuck in the burlap body. The instructor nods, turning to to look at the nearby desk. "Excellent work, Mr. Ishigaki. Although, you're a bit big to hide behind a small desk like that."
    Ken rises, bowing his head in respect. "Thank you, sensei."
    ~~~~

    Ken chuckles at his attempt at stealth. Guess I'm not cut out for sneaking, being this big and heavy. Then again, there are a lot of things I'm not cut out for.

    ~~~~
    Ken quickly flashes through the hand signs, using only as much chakra as needed, never stumbling over the symbols. With a puff of smoke, an exact replica appears by his side, although the instructor shakes his head. "Great form, Mr. Ishigaki. Your level of chakra control is remarkable for one as young as you. But, I don't think the enemy will be fooled by a copy that they can see through."
    Ken glance at his clone, which is indeed slightly transparant. "Maybe from a distance?" he asks, not entirely convinced himself.
    "Perhaps. ... Very well. You managed to create a passable imitation, and your technique was flawless. You pass, but you'll need a lot of practise if you intend on pulling off any real illusions."
    ~~~~

    Ken stands before five strawman target dummies, about 30 feet away. He looks at the various weapons on the table, then the instructor whistles sharply, beginning the test. Ken grabs a kunai, throwing it at the first dummy. The knife sticks in the dummy's shoulder, nowhere near the target on it's chest. The impact tears off the arm, so he moves on. He grabs two kunai, throwing one ofter the other at the second dummy. The first slices the head along the cheek, while the second hits the outer edge of the target, but hits hard enough to snap the thin wooden support rod.

    He moves on, grabbing three shuriken and throwing them all at once at the third target. They all go wide, embedding themselves in the wall. He tosses another trio, managing to at least hit the target. He throws down a smoke bomb, filling the area with smoke. With speed surprising for someone his size, he charges out of the smoke cloud, thrusting a kunai into the bull's-eye of one target, then shoulder tackling the final dummy, riding it to the ground.

    The instructor sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Well, I guess you know how to use the tools. If that's the best you can do at medium range, then it'll have to do. I'd love to know how you managed to destroy three of my dummies, though!" He scowls at Ken, who rubs the back of his head in shame. "Uh, sorry?"

    ~~~~
    Ken sits on the floor, thinking the day over. Sure, it had been tough, and he'd made a few mistakes, but he had passed. He rereads his acceptance form, before folding it and waiting for his parents to come home.
    @Godzil You are accepted.
    @Everyone
    We now have six players, enough for two squads. Quite a few of the people who initially expressed interest in this RP haven't applied, and a few who contacted me about it also haven't. If we don't get anymore applications by Tuesday, then I'll close this round of applications and we'll crack on. So if you know anyone who would be interested, or is working on an SU in secret, light a fireball jutsu under their butts.
    Everyone is welcome to sign up! I just had to put a deadline on this round of SU's, otherwise we'd never get started. If you don't get your SU finished in time, don't worry. There will be chances to join later.
    for him.
    Name
    Takekami (Written as bamboo paper...), Taro (Family, First Name)
    Age
    15
    Gender
    Male (A gay male…)
    Appearance
    Taro has black hair and brown eyes. He has full lips and he has a lean build. His ears lobes are attached and his ears tend to poke upwards. He's tan from all the work he has done on his family farm and all the skipping and singing he has done outside. He isn't as tall as he hopes to be. He stands to be about 5'3". He carries a "hoe" as a weapon choice as he comes from a family of ninja famers. He usually wears loose brown pants that are easy to move around in. He also wears a white tank top and wears a simple pendant around his neck. He usually walks around barefooted as well.
    Personality
    Taro enjoys being outdoors. He loves feeling the dirt between his toes and the earth under his feet. He especially enjoys skipping through the grass as he sings to the top of his lungs. Besides skipping about and feeling the earth underneath his feet, he also highly enjoys being outside because he gets to tend to the crops out in the fields and/or he gets to tend it his own plants that he has taken care of ever since he had planted their seeds.
    Many people find him strange as he enjoys walking around barefooted while singing and skipping about. Taro doesn't care about what other people think about him. To him, Taro is just being himself and as long as he is being who he is inside then he could care less about what other think of him. He just wants to be himself and no one else. Taro feels at home socializing with the strange people and pariahs. He finds them interesting and doesn't find them creepy or strange at all.
    Taro is talkative when he wants to be. He enjoys chatting with others. He enjoys meeting new people with interesting quirks about them. He is a person who helps out those in need, especially orphans. He makes it a point to play with the kids in his village's orphanage whenever he has time. Taro is also a good person to confide in because he just sits and listens as he tries to understand the prospective of the person talking to him.
    However, a weakness he has is that he trusts too easily. He can be backstabbed at any moment because he is too trusting. This can get him hurt emotionally and he is easily vulnerable to betrayal. No matter how understanding he may be, Taro detests people who think they are better than everybody else because of the way they were raised or how much skill they have, especially if they don't have anything skill to back up their attitude. (*cough* basically anyone with the Sasuke mentality *cough*)
    History
    Taro was born into a family whose line has been known to be ninja farmers. These ninjas have special chakra in them to be able to mutate plants around them by pumping chakra into them. Because of these mutations, they are able to use these plants around them to do their bidding and conduct jutsu based on the plants that they control. His family calls this technique the "Plant Style".
    His father trained him in the family's techniques when he was eight. His father noticed that he seemed to have inherited the special chakra that allowed him to perform the many feet his clansmen had. So when he was eight, his father sat him down and began teaching him the ways of the Takekami family. It started with small things such as weeds or little flowers before it expanded to large expanses of grass, bushes, and shrubs. He has since moved on to trees, which he can't control at all. He has yet to even attempt to grow a plant with his chakra because it takes a really skilled user to do that.
    Just like most of his family, his father and mother are farmers who tilled the soils of Takigakure ever since they migrated there. As a child, Taro always loved plants as he was raised on a farm. Taro was always an active child as he loved spending time outside tending to the plants or just skipping and singing wherever he went.
    Plans for being awesome
    Taro knows the basics of his family's techniques. He can mutate plants with his chakra and is able to perform many jutsus based on the plants under his control. However, he isn't a master at it. A true master of the family technique is able to grow seeds that feed on their chakra and is able to nurture them on any type of surface. He also has trouble controlling trees because they usually ignore Taro and just continue sucking up his chakra. Taro plans on improving his skills regarding his family's jutsus and techniques. Taro also plans to improve his taijutsu just incase if there ever comes a time when his plants can't help him and when he is also disarmed. (Mainly his hoe.)
    Sample Text
    Many children were in Takegakure Academy's yard now. Those in the yard had already taken their graduation exam. Those who passed seemed to be playing with the friends that managed to pass and those who didn't would touch their foreheads and look down at the ground sadly. Singing flew through the air and it lead to a boy who sat on the swings. He was singing in utter glee as he was sent through the air through the force of his feet meeting the grassy ground bellow him.
    His eyes were closed as he smiled. He was singing a song his mother had sang to him ever since he was a child. He was happy today, very happy. A band with a metal plate that was engraved with the Takegakure's symbol was wrapped around his shoulder. This boy's name was Taro and he had recently passed his graduation exam.
    It had been many years ago when his father enrolled him into the academy. Years seemed to pass by for Taro as he learned the history of the village, the theories behind chakra, the basic taijutsu form taught by the instructors, the use of the kunai and shuriken, and even the basic ninjutsus the Kawarimi, Henge, and the Bushin.
    The only thing that could brighten his day even more would be his two friends, Yuuki and Natsu, running out of the academy building with headbands on their foreheads with big smiles on their faces. Sadly, this didn't happen. Natsu and Yuuki walked out of the building a little while later. Their faces faced towards the ground and they seemed to be dragging their feet. The way the held themselves was obvious to the other kids in the yard that they had failed. Many snickered as Natsu and Yuuki were considered creepy amongst their class.
    Natsu was known to hold a colony of bees inside his body. This was similar to the Abarame who held beetles inside their bodies. Natsu was fairly adept with the bees that were housed in his body and often used jutsu that centered around poison in tandem with his bees.. However, Natsu was never any good at holding and throwing kunai and shuriken, which probably caused his downfall. People found it creepy that his body was a home for a colony of bees, so that was pretty much why people tended to stay away from him
    Yuuki was a frail child. He got sick often and missed many days of school. He excelled in genjutsu, but couldn't hurt a fly with his hands and was horribly physically. He seemed to catch viruses easily and many students stayed away from him in fear of contracting a fatal disease if they got too close to him. Many also thought of him as useless because of his physical weakness.
    Taro jumped off the swing as he ran towards his friends, "You guys I passed I-"
    He stopped and looked at them, taking in how they carried themselves it was obvious they failed, "You guys?"
    "We didn't pass," Yuuki said dejectedly as he looked up into Taro's brown eyes.
    "We're sorry," Natsu mumbled as he kicked his feet along the ground, "We won't be able to be on a team together like we promised."
    Silence.
    "No," Taro denied and began to walk towards the building, "I'll return the headband and be held back another year."
    Natsu and Yuuki had grabbed him and began to hold him back, "No stop it. Be a ninja, we'll be fine. We'll meet in the ninja world next year and you can always visit when you have time. You know, you've always wanted to be a ninja since you were little."
    "But-"
    "No buts!" Natsu cried, "You were always here for us, now it's time for you to shine. Go out there and show them what you're made of."
    Silence ensued before cries and hiccups filled the air.
  • Finished my SU! I said that my character is one of the top since I'm not actually sure if that's going to fly with everybody. :P
    Name
    Your first name and your family name. Japanese style names will fit the setting best, but are not necessary.
    Hisakawa, Satoru (Family, Given)
    Age
    Although in the main series Naruto Uzumaki and his classmates graduated at a younger age, I'm going to request that all characters be 14-15. I feel it makes things a bit more plausible, and allows for more mature themes to be explored.
    15
    Gender
    Is your character a boy or a girl? Hopefully straight forward.
    Male
    Appearance
    What does your character look like? What sort of things do they wear? Most ninja clothing in the Naruto universe tends to have military, martial arts or traditional oriental elements. (For example, most characters wear open toed shoes/sandals) They also seem to have a thing for fishnet material. These are just suggestions, so you can have whatever you want really, but no jeans. What ninja wears jeans?
    It has been said that Satoru looked reminiscent to his mother. He has navy hair that was always neatly combed proper. His bangs generally cover his right eye, even with nothing being wrong with it. Despite the hair, he can still see with both of his eyes. His eyes are a powder blue colour and are fairly small in size. He is around 5'6" and is 120 pounds. He also has muscles but looks very lanky despite being short. Despite it, or perhaps because of his stature, he is quick and agile. He does not have any scars, birthmarks, or tattoos.
    Satoru likes to wear the colour blue because it reminds him of water. He generally wears an ultramarine t-shirt and midnight blue cargo pants. He also likes to wear, like other ninjas, to wear open toed shoes. Unlike his peers, his open toed shoes are the shade of blue called Celeste. His steel blue kunai pouch is on his left leg. Aside from his dark blue fingerless gloves and his headband which he wears on his right leg, he does not wear any other accessories. All of his clothes are made of a special kind of fabric that is water resistant and does not get wet even in the middle of the ocean.
    Personality
    What kind of person is your character? Tell me how they view themselves and how they react to others. How will they deal with pressure, what is admirable about their character? What flaws do they have? What motivates them? Above all, make sure that this character is someone you like. You can be playing the nastiest piece of work in the world, but if you think they're interesting then odds are you'll be happy to play them for a while.
    Satoru is almost like four different persons.
    To his father, Satoru is rebellious by nature and dislikes being around him. He is either quick to leave or quick to argue. Despite the mutual dislike, if he knows that what his father is saying is correct, Satoru will listen; however, Satoru will pretend like he doesn't listen to his father at all. Satoru, to his father, is very sarcastic and quite mean spirited. He does not mind attacking first and does not hold back his words at all. When he chooses his words, Satoru chooses his words to hurt. He is also incredibly stubborn and does not change his opinion easily. He can also be quite bitter and petty.
    To everyone else in the Academy, Satoru is the quiet, smart kid in the corner who, when he speaks, is very sarcastic. Despite the fact that he is never overly mean, there are many people who avoid him because of his sarcastic and quiet nature. He never seems to open up or pay attention in class, yet he always gets one of the highest marks in the Academy. A few people feel that he's arrogant, but many do not know what to make of him because, despite the fact that he's been their classmate for a while, no one really tried to get to know him. He has a few NPC fangirls, however.
    To the members of his clan, Satoru is very polite and quite humble. Despite being the heir to the throne, he never treats them as if he was better than them. He remembers everyone's names and birthdays, despite it being such a large clan. He is very careful with words around them and likes all of his clan members, despite none of them being close to him.
    When alone or with his aquatic friends, however, Satoru is a pretty optimistic guy. He's very imaginative and likes to come up with new ideas on the fly. He writes in a journal, sometimes, about the ideas that he's thought up and is an artist and an author. He is also quite inquisitive and adaptable to situations as they arise. Still a tinge sarcastic, but sarcasm isn't something that Satoru can turn off easily. Satoru hates it when his friends are hurt and always tries to protect them, even if it is impossible.
    History
    What has life been like for your character in the village? Who are their family? How have they found ninja academy? We don't need to know every detail of every day from birth to graduation, but give us the key events.
    Satoru is the son of the head of the family, Akio, and his mother, Umi. As such, he is the heir to the clan and has been brought up for this role. The Hisakawa family has a bloodline of being able to talk to and control any aquatic animal and is one of the prominent clans of the village. Civilians, those who are unable to use chakra but still have the bloodline, sell the fish that they were able to coerce into coming with them and, therefore, help feed the village and gather money for the family. From a young age, those who can use chakra are trained in chakra controlling techniques as it is easier to talk to the aquatic animals by being able to water walk or send chakra to their lungs in order to breathe underwater longer. Satoru had been able to water walk by the time he was five and has been getting close to the animals in the nearby bodies of water ever since.
    When he was eight, Satoru had been with his mother while an assassin had managed to sneak into the house. With his father gone and Satoru being too little to do much, his mother, having been a chunin before having Satoru, had tried to hold off the assassin and tried to make sure that Satoru was safe. His mother stuck him in a closet and engaged with the assassin. Satoru had managed to see the fight through the crack of the closet and, consequently, saw his mother's death. Before the assassin could finish off Satoru, his father had come home and killed the assassin. There were no clues as to who the assassin was or what village he belonged to. Since then, Satoru had vowed to become the strongest ninja so that no one could harm his loved ones. Also because of this incident, Akio had become colder and pushed Satoru harder, blaming Satoru for his mother's death while Satoru blamed Akio for Umi's death. Consequently, their relationship fell apart when Umi died and their only conversation matter was Satoru's heir and ninja education.
    As the heir, Satoru was sent to the Ninja Academy in order to be trained. After learning at the Ninja Academy, he would come home and be pushed to train more or study in order to become a good heir. This includes manners, diplomacy, politics, and commanding; however, his diplomatic, politics, and commanding training started when he was ten and, therefore, able to comprehend the material. He also had to learn about the wars, the other countries, and other prominent clans. As such, he is one of the highest test scorers in the Academy. For some reason, however, his taijutsu had always been subpar and he had to train hard in order to get his ninjutsu average. Despite this, Satoru learned the Hisakawa family's taijutsu, "Nami no Ken", or "Wave Fist". It is a style where the user must be fluid like running water, strong as a waterfall, unyielding like a wave, and adaptable as calm water. He may not have the physical power to use Wave Fist well, but he is quick enough to use the Wave Fist as a hit-and-run technique. However, he generally sticks to using the Academy taijutsu as it will be more of a surprise if he brings out the Wave Fist. Also because of his heir training, he knows a few water jutsus: the Kirigakure no Jutsu, which creates a thick, dense mist that covers the surrounding area; Suiton: Mizu Kuri no Yaiba, which utilizes water to create a sword; and the Suiton: Mizuame Nababara, which projects a stream of sticky, syrupy liquid that can create an adhesive trap.
    Plans for being awesome
    This is a bit of an odd one for an SU to have, I know, but it's as much for yourself as it is for me. If your character were to reach the absolute pinnacle of their power, what abilities do you see them having? Can they cause earthquakes? Are they masters of genjutsu? Do you not know yet(this is fine!)? By having a vague idea of that, we can figure out together as the RP goes on how to help your character learn and develop the skills necessary to become the ninja you want them to be. If you don't want to fill out this section and have your character grow more organically, that is of course fine and I expect a few will do that.
    I plan to go away from the stereotypical "male makes violence, girls do healing" by making Satoru a healer/genjutsu master. We've seen a Genjutsu master (Itachi) at work and I find that genjutsu is pretty cool. I generally go through the normal route of making girls pretty awesome, but I've been creating more characters than my general "Miharu Mizushima"...despite the fact that the name totally works for a ninja from Waterfall. >_>; (Mizushima means "Village of Water") He won't be as good as Tsunade or Sakura, but he'll balance his higher-than-average healing with super amazing genjutsu. He's going to have subpar Taijutsu and average Ninjutsu (Water elemental). Due to being amazing with genjutsu, he will be very imaginative and will probably be good with creating Naruto-esque tactics.
    Currently, he's not going to know anything about genjutsu or healing, but will know some taijutsu and ninjutsu.
    Sample Text
    Please provide a sample of your writing detailing either your character performing in one aspect of their graduation exam, or reflecting on it in hindsight. Use this to not only give me an idea of your roleplay style and ability, but also to lay out your characters general skill level as a fledgling ninja. Are they average overall? Do they have a slightly higher level of skill in one particular area? Your character is welcome to be considerably better in aspects of your choosing than average, but please balance this by making them considerably worse in other areas. Are they gifted with genjutsu, but are clumsy and struggle to make hand signs? Is their taijutsu top of the class, but their chakra control laughable? We want nice rounded characters with room for growth!
    So, today was the day that he was finally getting his headband. Satoru had woken up early and gotten ready quickly, having not wanted to talk, or even see, his father beforehand. Alas, it wasn't meant to be as while he was sneaking out the door, Satoru heard his father's voice behind him.
    "Today is the exam, correct?" asked Akio.
    Satoru sighed and turned around. His plans were foiled. "Yeah…"
    "Don't fail," said Akio firmly, narrowing his eyes.
    Satoru rolled his eyes. "Wow, Akio-sama, that almost sounds like you're cheering me on."
    Akio turned around, ignoring Satoru's comment. "If you fail, there will be dire consequences."
    "There's always dire consequences," replied Satoru, leaving the house and, behind him, slamming the door.
    Akio scowled. "Disobedient son."
    Satoru scowled. "Idiotic father," he muttered. He sighed and smacked his cheeks a few times. It wasn't the time to be angry at Akio; he needed to focus on the exam! Even with school starting in only an hour, the Academy had always been far from home. Satoru walked through the complex, greeting any of the early risers. Many of them wished him good luck, which he probably didn't need. He had been working for this moment for what seemed to be his entire life. Still, a little good luck never hurt anyone.
    -x-
    Satoru held on tightly to the forehead protector in his hands.
    "I hope I made you proud, mum," he thought. Satoru sighed and tied the forehead protector around his leg. Despite the fact that it was technically a "forehead" protector, Satoru didn't feel the need to put it on his forehead until it was time for a mission. Hopefully, there would be no need to use it in-between missions. Well, he probably wouldn't have to as a newly fresh ninja; perhaps if he was a jounin or something like that.
    He walked back into the complex. A few of the people who were walking around greeted and congratulated him for passing. Satoru thanked everyone that spoke to him. He walked into the main house where he and his father lived and sighed.
    "Tadaima," said Satoru softly. He walked to the kitchen for something to eat and nearly jumped when he saw his father working on paperwork at the table.
    "If you want to be a ninja, you need to sense people better than that," Akio said without even looking up from his papers.
    Satoru scowled as he grabbed an apple and bit into it. "Of course, Akio-sama."
    His father flipped through a paper. "Did you pass?"
    "Why don't you tell me, oh-great-and-wise-father?" asked Satoru sarcastically. He turned around to leave the kitchen, but froze at the sound of his father's voice.
    "Congratulations."
    Satoru scowled. "I don't need your congrats," he said before slamming the
    shōji. Satoru sighed from the other side before shaking his head and going to his room.
  • Uchiha, First Snow, I know it ain't up to me, I personally find your profiles to be QUITE spiffy. Make me a little a embarresed about mine. However, I DO hope our characters get some chance to interact. Team strength matching wise, out of the two, Aoi only really has a chance on geting on a squad with Taro since she and Satoru are simular. Though, a funny a thing is Tao and Aoi are both genki as hell... and also gay. Granted, he's your honest, trusting, goody goody farm hero, while she's a schemer always looking for a quick buck in that (hopefully likeable and not fully EVIL) whole Scrooge Mc Duck sorta vien. So, yeah, a big contrast between the two. If they were in the same squad, I could imagie Aoi probally wouldn't be the best influence for him! Ha! Don't think she'd try get him into TOO much trouble. However, the jonin would and other genin... would have to deal with al that energy. Ha! Very exhausting, I bet!
    Let's hope a couple of Lincoln's jonin are female. Dudes. So many dudes. Yeah, admitedly, I like the trope of unrequited love/stupid adolescent crushes. Sue me. Aoi would totally be able to go along and still be interesting (hopefull) with her lesbainism as a sort "by the way" sort of thing. But still...
    *hops up and down like an impatient child*
  • Well, Rapidame, we only have 8 members. And only two of them are female. Well, technically three are female, but Tooru is a male for all intents and purposes. If we don't get a 9th member, then Lincoln will probably have to make a female character. Assuming we do the "2 male, 1 female" team dynamic. If not, who knows? Maybe Aoi and Yuki will be on a team together. Wouldn't that be fun for you?
    Actually, now that I mention it, since the deadline's tomorrow, barring some last-second addition, who gets the 9th spot?
    Whoever does, I'm actually excited and curious to see the team line-ups.
    Today is indeed deadline day! If we don't have a ninth applicant then yes, I will make a genin myself (and likely ask someone else to play the jonin for the squad my genin is in). I doubt it will come to that though, I know someone is currently working on an SU. It's just an issue of if they're in time or not.
    If your SU hasn't been accepted yet, don't worry. I'm going through them today. (I've had a cursory read and they seem fine at first glance, so you're probably golden.)
    After further deliberation...
    @MichaelaTheUchiha Your character is accepted!
    @FirstSnow Something a bit different, I like it. You are certainly accepted. I like the plant jutsu, just remember, no wood style.
    @Everyone I have been so pleasantly suprised with the quality of the SU's. I was firmly braced to have to turn people down for having Sharingan and other implausible things. A while ago I forced my girlfriend to watch a sizeable amount of Naruto, so she understands the mechanics, and even she found some of your SU's ideas interesting. Looking forward to getting started!
    Don't worry, I didn't want him to be able to do any kind of Mokuton... I mean, I guess the only thing that would kind of relate is that I plan to eventually have him to be able to control the trees, like he does the other plants... But besides that, there really isn't anything Mokuton related I planned to do with my character. :D Thanks for the warning though.
    That's cool. We can figure that out as he progresses, since I imagine he's a ways off from that level.
    And Rapidame, I'm not giving anything away about your sensei's just yet!
    There are no reseervation spots, just complete an SU. But I should tell you that today is the cut-off date. If your SU isn't completed and submitted by the end of today, you'll have to wait until the next round of admissions.
    So I'm not the only one; I had a discussion with my boyfriend about the plausibility of my character's powers and about the science behind it considering he's a lot more intelligent than I am. :D
    Hmm, I'll have to wait til the next round then. I have so many other stuff to do. Don't worry, I'll be sure to read this til then. :P
    Twenty five minutes left! If there are no last minute SU's in that time, then everyone will have to wait for the next round! Don't worry though. I have a genin in mind for myself to round out the numbers, so no squad will be short.
    @The Final Watchman Well, I'm sorry that you won't be making this round, but I'll be sure to message you just before the second round of applications opens. And I hope you do read the IC thread, from the applications I daresay the RP will be of a good quality.
  • No worries on that one. I have a few special jutsus planned for my character, if you wanted to review them.
    Also... Could someone translate Phoenix Flare for me? I don't like having the only out of place name. If you can't, then I'll live.
