I...what? Well at least I wasn't lynched, but...wow. Maybe we should've just killed Klippy. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
 
And that's why you should never fuck with me and listen to Klippy. Maybe Wiicked could still be playing if I still lived.

Huh. Surprised there was no real narrative attached to that, regardless.

In any event . . . that means that Klippy likely didn't obtain any more star pieces, so he should be killable.

And then there's Nagi, a recruit of Lissa. Sad to be hunting for that harmless little cleric, but hey, an enemy's an enemy in maf, I suppose.

Those are our current leads. I don't think I missed anything? I have some more suspicions, of course, but that's all they remain at the moment.
 
Can we not try to kill me again please? I called Gunner out and was right.

I'm most suspicious of GreyBidoof and Mana still since one was so adamant about killing me and the other showed up just to put my name down when the vote was neck-and-neck. The narrative even says, "Power so great, so tempting, that she betrayed her own teammates. Even when they stuck by her, she was plotting against them."

So perhaps those votes for me mean more than they seem.
 
Well, to be fair, I don't think it would be a smart move to trust you.
You are a 3rd party, it would be very foolish to believe your claim of being town sided.
 
That line refers to Gunner being Delphox because, in case you missed it, she appeared as third party and as "0000000." It does not refer to Mana or d00f. edit: but it does imply that some of the mafia voted for the other potential lynchees beyond Gunner, however.

Also, you calling out Gunner does absolutely nothing to prove that you're aligned with us. You're a third party role; the mafia is not on your side, and as such it works in your favor to get them killed and then wear that victory as a ruse to ingratiate yourself with the town.

If you know I'm Geno...then there's nothing stopping you from lynching me later if the game doesn't end after the mafia is gone (or even if you distrust me and I've gathered Star Pieces), but I've done nothing to make the town distrust me beyond you being suspicious of my label as a third party.

And I'm aware of what the line meant. "Even when they stuck by her," is what I was referring to when mentioning those other two. As you said, it means they stuck by her until the end - meaning they likely didn't vote for her at all.
 
The problem with that is, it would appear that you can't be killed when you hold star pieces. You can see how that might become a problem late-game if we suddenly realize that you need to be killed?
 
In any event, these are the votes from last day phase.

Klippy: Mana, Nimsy, Nagi, Desininshon, Golgari, Draskk, jdthebud, Davepetasprite^2, GreyBidoof
Gunner: Sopheria, Wiicked, Klippy, TheCapsFan, Ullion, Ash, White Mage, Melody
Foxrally: gimmepie
gimmepie: Foxrally
Nagi: Juno

Working with the theory that the maf pretty much all voted for Klippy (as we can be pretty sure of pie and fox being Dry Bones and Bowser, with Juno as an outlier), that would indicate that the mafia contains four of the following players:

Mana
Nimsy
Nagi
Desinishon
Golgari
Draskk
jdthebud
GreyBidoof

And Nagi, as we know, is third party, removing her from the list of candidates.

I would think that four of these five are mafia:

Mana, Desinishon, Draskk, jdthebud, and GreyBidoof

Of course, it's entirely possible that not all four of the mafia voted for Klippy, but it is also unlikely they would have voted for Gunner. So Juno could be one, I suppose. There's also the addition of those who did not vote at all (just being Crystal Berry and myself).
 
I know this is just speculation, but Mana's viewed this thread three times since the phase change and not posted. Could mean anything, could mean working on an alibi for himself and the rest of the mafia.

Why did you exclude Nimsy from your list of potential mafia?

The two people I called out are on that list as well, but that just repeats the point I made above.

I have my reasons, of course. For one thing, I know exactly which characters Nimsy would choose from the role list, and none of them are mafia or third party, lol.
