Aw cmon, what about the games? There may be people who like those crappy games on the PSP,(exept Metal Gear) But there are not that many. I don't care about FFVII AC on PSP! I don't care about music on the PSP! I care about the games.DS has abetter games that will sell more and that is that!
 
I hope you all realize that FF advent children is going to be a MOVIE! So it has nothing to with the PSP...if you have a DVD player, prolly even a cassette player, then you can play FF advent children...

I know it is a movie. I forgot too add that. But really, you can get it in better quality by watching it on DVD, there is no point for all of those extras on the PSP.
 
a1337a is Anti too.....she should support both systems though, they help her salary!! No games, no job. Cutting down Nintendo is not the smartest move on her part....
 
My Gosh, every thread dealign with the DS or PSP there is fighting. Common people act civilized! Well anyways I can't wait till the DS comes out. It is going to be awsome. And I don''t think it will be a novelty item as somebody stated in some thread dealing with the DS.

Exactly and its funny too.

We know both systems are gonna be great but we keep trying to influnce our opinions on each-other, like it is really going to make a difference on our final decision(which system we buy).

I'm just doing this cuz its fun to debate. :laugh: If you guys wanna keep debating, I'm all in for it! :D

Many people actually DO like those Sony games. Some people care about those extras also. Tell me honestly, If DS could play movies and music, wouldn't DS be better system than without?

I can't debate tonite though... I've got a date with some Absinthe ;)

I still think PSP is better than DS no-matter what though :laugh:

Nintendo don't pay my salary. Maybe if they made stuff that sold, I'd be a little more respectful.

Anyway, I probably will end up buying both systems, even though I've just spent time degrading and flaming the PSP =3

Extras don?t hurt?but they really don?t help much either *coughN-gage* I mean really, if you want an MP3 player odds are you already have one. @_@; As for watching movies that could be a nice change of pace, but?and correct me if I?m being a ditz, wouldn?t you have to buy those movies ina PSP format? =\

You do know that your store doesn't sell the same amount of games as another store. And Nintedo does make the system that sells the most at the current time. Gameboy Advance sells more then PS2, X-Box, and Gamecube combined across the country. Maybe you should consider the fact that what's true for your store isn't always true for everywhere else.

And yes, it will be a pain to have to buy a seperate format for movie I already own just to watch them on a little console. Bill Gates (oh dear, I'm using the demon lord as an example X.X) and Micro$oft don't even expect DVDs to be become obsolete for at least another 10 years. I doubt everyone will buy movies on UMDs when they already have the DVD (and DVD player, you don't need one in a gaming system >.< And the PS2 one is way too quiet). Gaming systems don't need to be able to play movies, play MP3s, or serve you breakfast in bed. They are GAMING systems. They were meant to play GAMES, not launch your very own satelite into orbit.
 
As I've said, what feels like a hundred times, I don't just speak for my store.
I'm a store manager, I have access to the world sales database.
I don't reveal figures, but I can say that the situation in my area is far from unique.
The GBA isn't as big a seller as people seem to think. According to your 'statistic', and using my store as purely a *ratio* point of view, given the fact we sell about 200 PS2 and Xbox games in our store per day, means we should sell at least that in GBA games?
I don't remember the last time we sold ten GBA games in a day.
Thats 1/20 of the sales, best case scenario.
And our store is not alone in this kind've situation.

Grow up, get some facts, and stop sprouting off as if you're god and you don't need to backup your condecending rebuttles, Shadow.

What resources to you have at your disposal? Have you even *worked* in the industry before?
Or are you just another fanboi with no grounding for argument?

Incase you failed to notice, you know, being as slow witted as you appear to be, this has evolved into a thread discussing and debating the merits of each handheld.
Perhaps this is just moving too fast for you? Because you seem..um..unable? To keep up with where the thread has been going.
