First of all, NINTENDO STILL MAKES CARDS!! I mean LMAO!!! What a coincidence....Its called POKEMON TCG!!! Remember?

Second, PSP...well.....I sure hope the PSP has a roll cage or screen protector accessory, because....heh....that screen is gonna break! Kids are going to use it....kids that will take it anywhere! As said in EGM #181 "...I'm gonna have to keep mine wrapped in a sock" - Crispin.

Touch screen gaming-A feature that should have been the norm five years ago. But, at least its coming out now! PSP, oh wait, doesn't have that technology! That means, even if it did have chat, would SUCK!! Finding letters with the D-pad is....slow and boring. The convo would be going snail speed! DS on the other hand....Could just have the users WRITING!! Using an on screen keyboard would be fine too!

I could buy the DS and not get any games yet, why? BACKWARD COMPATIBILATY!! My advance games would be awesome playing on the DS, simply because...I have a DS! =3 Can the PSP do that? Nope.

Movies......The nice PSP funtion that has some......downsides....

1)Want your favorite movie you have on DVD, well, SIMPLY BUY IT AGAIN!!

2)I doubt they'll come out with Titanic, probably not even LotR! Unless they have made a car adapter....which you'll have to FORK OVER MORE $$!

I think I've done enough typing for now. I'm off to make a real DS thread, that I'll have closed if anything like this happens! Then I'll simply make a new one. And heh, if you want to make it hard for me and keep posting...I DON'T CARE!! Because, NEWS FLASH...It just raises my post count ^_^

Exactly how do you expect to scratch your screen? Hmm... the only answer is irresponsiblity. The PSP has a screen cover, how are you supposed to scratch it? You have a better chance of scratching your DS screen with that stylus.

The touch screen chat is not a problem. The PSP has USB ports, so I'm 99% sure you can use a keyboard. With the DS I see no such thing.

I don't really care about the backwards capability. Honestly, how many people use their GBA to play GB games on a regular basis?

You don't really have a point made about the movies... PSP uses UMD discs, and UMDs are the future of digital media. You might-as-well start buying your movies on UMD, because I bet within two years, people will start a UMD revolution, just like the DVD did. And anyways, no matter how you look at it, movies are a plus to the PSP. Even if you wanted to have movies on your DS, you can't.

The car adapter will be made. And it will probably come together with the PSP.
And if Sony doesent make a Car Adapter, you bet a third-party company will.

They can produce any movies that they want, so you can bet that those movies will come out for PSP(thats if they wanna put those movies on PSP)

As I have said before, the prices are just speculation. And you can bet that a PSP will come with all the accesories to start you off.

Undependable hardware? Let me remind you that Sony is the world's leader in electronics. My GCN is broken but I have never had a problem with my PS2. Sony is well know for its dependability, maybe thats why its our electonics leader.

And Game producers have already signed with PSP also.

birttany accept it you would not change our minds we will buy nintendo ds. as i see it would have better games there is only one cool game for psp and it is metal gear acid.nintendo ds will be online the persons of here pokecommunity can play with each other when a pokemon game ship out it will sell to much. the only good of playstation is the rpg and now there arent rpg. I know that hte final fantasy 7 is great it is one of the best games that i have played in my whole life but it is not of sony. it is of square enix(square soft) but the one that creates the final fantasy games was saying that the final fantasy 12 would be the last final fantasy of sony.

Look, yes, the PSP DID look cooler...well....that day is over! The new DS design makes the PSP look like a dumb mix between the GBA and N-Gage! Black to! Whereas the DS is sleek silver. No contest there! DS is a clear winner.

UMD the future? HECK NO! DVD's can WAY MORE!! Some ppl haven't even bought DVD players and companies are now going to change movie formats again? I don't think so! DVDs are literally a wonder disc! They can be recorded on the computer, hold lots of stuff, and be played on the TV....UMDs are...CRAP!

Oh yes, everyone is going to go out and buy movies on yet another new format that can only be played on a little handheld gaming console that has such a short enough battery life that it can't even finish some of the movies.

Sony packaging a car adapter with the PSP? roflololol That greedy company wont include anything in that box except for the PSP and an insturction manuel printed on cheap paper.

They can't make any movie they want. They have to have peermission from the company who amde the movie. And my favorite movies of all times, Star Wars, can't be played on the PSP anyways becasue of the super short battery life. Neighter can Lord of the Rings, Titanic (hate that movie), and several other popular movies.
