6th Gen No More X and Y News

Did I just see Rock Smash??? Ughhhhhhhhhh HMs >:( I need a confirmation on this...

Anyway I'm happy with the amount of news I got, it is something after all. I'm amazed how GF & Nintendo always like to keep fans busy speculating ^_^ I personally don't mind.

I don't think it is Rock Smash because the character is riding the Rhyhorn. And I don't think they are going to delete HMs. Fly and Surf are a must.

Yeah, it just looked like the Rhyhorn rammed through the rocks...so it's seems ride-able Pokémon can get past obsticles. Gogoat's line jumps over ledges while Rhyhorn's crushes rocks! Which imo is pretty cool :)

I may go back and listen to other trailers, to see what the super effective sound is. I think it is safe to say that Oorotto is definitely not rock. Which I like. Unless it was normal effective and he is Grass/Rock or Bug/Rock. He could even be part Fiary like some hoped for. (I don't think he would be part bug though) He might have even a surprising type combo like Malamar did.

Let me listen to the attack again and I will say, it is hard to tell at the moment.

Listening to to the attack sounds again, it sounds like the fire attack was super effective against Oorotto. Therefore making it part grass or bug. I don't think it is Grass/Bug for sure or a level 50 should have 1 hit all those lv 25s. So Orotto is not part fire, water, rock and dragon. (I could still be wrong, the sound with Oorotto is not that clear, but it sounded like super effective.)

So there are a good amount of choices to go on still, but at least that cancels out rock type.

But there is a Sudowoodo between the Oorottos and it is Rock type so all the types of hordes might have the same sound.~_~

Oh wow..... I didn't even notice that Sudowoodo, and it looks as if took about the same damage as the rest. I really hope it isn't rock. There is another Oorotto by himself against a Blaziken in the 2nd trailer that BeefTaco posted as well. They used a fire attack then, but I didn't hear the sound effect because they went on before the it could be founded, but it looked like Blaziken used a Blaze Kick, and it looks like he takes a good amount of damage from it. I still do not think Oorotto is evo of Sudo though, mainly because I do not think they would have a fully evolved form in a battle like that. I say that because the Oorotto in the 2nd trailer was a level 100. It may just be a stand alone or it could be an alt evo form of Bonsly.

This will be my first time going into a Pokémon game completely blind since it'll be a simultaneous release. I'm pretty excited, to tell the truth! However, choosing my team to use will probably be pretty difficult the first time around. Oh well, I'm excited regardless!

even if no more official stuff is released im sure there will be several more things to be leaked out by leakers, like the final forms of the starters and more explicit details of new locations/features/characters in the game, just like back in gen5

I don't think they could release much more without it being too spoilery. I don't usually follow the games before they're released, but I also very rarely play them right at the release date, so it's hard to keep from knowing SOME info about the games. That said, I like being surprised, and I feel like the amount of info was the perfect amount to keep me excited, without giving too much away :)

That trailer was going by so nicely until I saw Korrina only having two Pokemon. Her gym is pretty far off in the distance from the starting town, so I'd expect her to have around 4, something to break B/W's dumb pattern. It seems like battles with Gym Leaders just get shorter and shorter... hopefully not easier.

Maybe that's because she has a mega evolution on her team? It's not always about the amount of pokemon on the team you know. Sometimes one pokemon alone can be a pain to take out.

Bulbapedia mentioned that she holds the key to understand Mega Evolutions, so it's quite possible that she will have a Mega Evolution Pokémon.
I dunno what type her gym is, but if it's Flying then it's also possible that it'd be a Sky battle thus the low amount of Pokémons.

Mabye this gen we can't use more pokemon than gym leader(for example if the gym leader use three pokemon we also must use three), that would be nice change and will make the gym leader much more challanging.

I have a feeling we might be seeing some legitimate leaks in the next few weeks but we won't be able to prove them until release.

I think that because it seems hard to believe that review copies of the game would be sent out without some people going undercover and leaking stuff. The closer we get to release the harder it'll be to keep everything under wraps.

That's the thing about leaks, they're unpredictable and appear out of the blue when you're not expecting them.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were to be any leaks closer to the release date. That sort of thing can typically happen when games are being sent out to be reviewed or someone manages to get a copy early.

Officially, I don't think we'll get much else. Although, you're never really sure what might happen to give these games one final push in promotion. We already got a new trailer from the eShop update that showed us some new scenes which was nice. I think, if anything, we'll just get little things. They won't spoil the bigger surprises and elements of the games until the public is finally playing it.

That would be pretty cool actually, but I can see some people against such limitations.

If I remember correctly, a ton of B&W stuff leaked in the week or two before the release, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got some good ones this time around too. That was really fun, until gamefreak threatened everybody, haha.

But I do think major news breaks on X&Y are done. It's less than a month away now, they won't want to spoil too much.

Serebi said Korrina is fighting type gym leader at a point, but they removed it soon after. It was also pointed out that she has a megastone on her left hand.

I have to say she is probably most likely steel or fighting. She is probably also the 3rd to 5th gym leader. I wish they would release a freaking picture of the in game map so we can look at the routes. It isn't that big of a spoiler.

This makes me happy. I'm not up to date with X/Y news cause I want to go into the games knowing as little as possible. I saw about three let's plays of the Japanese versions of B2/W2 and while I enjoyed watching them, they stopped me from fully enjoying the final Pokémon games for the original DS.

There won't be any big leaks. Trust me on this one.

Also I now found out there are people who hate blind playthrough. What is wrong with you guys? Blind playtroughs are the best in Pokemon. Spoilers and leaks can die.

Frankly I'm glad I'm finally gonna play a Pokemon game without knowing everything and every Pokemon before I play it since gen 3. That's pretty much the best thing about X/Y so far for me.
