Do you allow people to come in your living space while still wearing his/her shoe?

As for me, who is as Asian as any Asian, I do not allow such thing. Even if your shoe stinks, and the shoes seals it in, I still want you to take it off.

I don't really mind to be honest. I am polite enough to take my shoes off in someones house, and my friends seem to be polite enough to do so in mine xD

It depends on the person. If it's someone professional visiting us for whatever reason, then they usually keep their shoes on, but if it's family, they take them off. That said, if you're tracking mud in, you can take them off or gtfo.

I normally don't like when people wear shoes in my house but I've all but given up on my brother and his friends. I don't wanna freaking deal with them or I might kick the **** out of them. As for other guests, they have to take off their shoes.

I'm okay with wearing shoes in my house, but I myself usually wear shoes if I'm going out.

I'm indifferent. Even if someone tramps through with muddy boots, alright whatever.

Um... of course I let people in my house with shoes on. Wtf am I, an airport?

As long as it's not ridiculously muddy, but even then it's fine as long they wipe their feet before they go on the carpet. I don't find it rude or anything. In fact, I think it's kinda rude to ask someone to take off their shoes. :\

I take my shoes off when I'm in somebody's house, and I expect the same. The only exception is when you go from a door to the garage.

I take off my shoes just for comfort.
I don't really care if other people do, except if they're muddy/dirty/wet, just like everyone else. But if a person doesn't have enough common sense to take off their shoes when they're muddy, he or she is probably not worth having around.

I dont think it matters, much. When you live up in the ranch, it doesnt matter much. We all have slate floors, with carpet, so yeah. We dont care. As long as you can see more shoe than mud, its fine. xD

My mom makes me take off my shoes before I go upstairs. Something about 'keeping the carpet clean', but I couldn't give a crap.

I normally dislike people wear shoes in my house and never face the this problem.

I really wouldn't mind them wearing shoes, beacause I don't want their smelly socks to turn my carpet green...
Actually i don't think my mum would let them in anywhere ele apart from the hallway with thir shoes on.

Meh, I don't care at all. Muddy bike tyres are going all over the floor constantly in my house anyway. I don't like people wearing shoes in my bedroom though.

Yeah, in my house we don't are if you wear shoes or not providing they're not covered in mud or dirt :P
