will this do?

Make one out of the bluray rip though. I presume that must be out by now.

Gintama isn't Titans mainstream but pretty much every anime fan knows of it. The fact it is rated towards the top of every anime community ranking should make that pretty obvious.

Anyway. I hope to see some lovely non shounen and/or flavour of the month banners tomorrow. I believe in you.

I only see it at the top on MAL. It doesn't even make top 10 at ANN. Others idk.

Also, if it were actually that popular in the west, it would've sold well enough for the manga not to be cancelled and for the series to get a dub. Not one series Lilith mentioned is without a dub, iirc. Gintama got, what, Benizakura movie with dub. And after apparently dismal sales of it in west, Sentai gave up plans of dubbing it altogether. This doesn't generally happen with popular and mainstream stuff.

But you're probably right. More anime forum experience + pro anime level counts for something.

Crap show and you should feel bad for liking it. If you actually cried at that I think your parents probably didn't bring you up properly.

Save that for /a/ and for sports site comment sections.

As for splash images, how about Princess Jellyfish? Or Genshiken, since that's basically what this section is, haha?

Also, saw this on Toonami's Tumblr page. Does this mean Yu Yu Hakusho is returning?

Hmm, not sure if enough people have seen any of these series but I don't think these are super widely known:
- Toaru Majutsu no Index / Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
- Nobunagun
- Kyousogiga
- Nisekoi

I can help find some stuff to put up there if you want, Blade. :3 unless you want to do it yourself!

I'm pretty sure InuYasha is being replaced with Yu Yu Hakusho on Toonami. Or something like that.

InuYasha already got booted a month ago for Symbionic Titan, since InuYasha probably hit the end of its 167 episode run and they also lost the airing rights to it.

I wonder if Yu Yu Hakusho or something else will be taking Space Dandy's spot in the lineup or if we'll see a return to the 6 hour lineup while we wait for the summer half of Space Dandy to roll around.

Without changing the scripts massively it would be impossible to dub Gintama in English and sales don't really have a lot to do with anything. Hundreds of thousands of people will watched Steins;Gate, a lot love it making it popular but how many of those fans actually buy anything? Gintama has been seen or is currently being seen by over 100k people on MAL alone, and this isn't taking into account sequels.

I was also under the impression that Gintama is more popular with the older audience in the west than it is Japan.

So yeah, for me Gintama sits in the group group behind da big free, Dragonball Z, Titans, Clannad, Geass and SAO.

The internet changed the western anime scene for good, yo.

I won't be missing anything I've watched tbh. :p LH is getting a sequel, KlK doesn't need one, Noragami will probably have one later on. I'm satisfied.

It'll take a long time for me to complete those huge franchises on my PtW list anyway. Gundam, Saint Seiya, LoGH etc. And then there's stuff like GITs, Trigun etc. And newer stuff. Too much to watch. 2014 will be a good year for me.

The 5/10 - 7/10 shows are east to replace with the new season but there are a rare few airing shows higher than that right now, for me. Sad times.

I'm going to miss the thrill of waiting on Thursdays for Kill La Kill is over. (especially since the last 5 episodes) NOw hoping for something else to give me that sese of excitement all over again. please be Ping Pong THE ANIMATION

The only anime I'm really having really high hopes for is that romance show with the pv I posted a page ago or two where the girl follows the cat, FSN remake and Psycho Pass Season 2. And maybe one-two I'm forgetting. Wowow season two as well. Though I'll be content with muh old animu for a long while now. I have 117 animu on mah PtW list after all.

Look at who the manga was written by and who's directing the anime. Thus, hype explained.

I usually enjoy the more unique art styles. This one reminds me of the fantastic Windy Tales.
