I firmly believe that the anime medium can do sufficient, viewer-friendly and in-depth world building. It's just easier in LNs since you can throw in a paragraph or two about stuff whenever you feel like it.

Of course that's true. But once I get into a series, I want to understand the world more through extra information.

Doubt he would have had to use the power on most people. I'd have had a go on him for free.

As a tanned loli of course. :P

Lappy's desire to watch Geass was reignited thanks to Karren's ass. Dat glorious ass.

Everybody knows that her ass is the best Code Geass character.

I liked Kallen's ass best, though. And dayumm, that chick who lost her memory. Her boobs were amazing characters.

Silly is good, though. Gintama proves that.

And recently, your fave animu Kenzen Robo Daimidaler proved it too.

Mmmmaybe we could benefit from a new topic.

I'm currently reworking my manga folders to make them more convenient, so I'm a bit curious;

Those of you who, uh, acquire your anime and manga, do you have a certain system when it comes to keeping it organized? Do you just dump it all in one place, do you have folders for particular series/studios/artists/tags/etc.? And do you do anything to keep it convenient?

I put WAY too much of time into this stuff, especially manga. See, I'm an avid reader of, let's say, short-and-to-the-point manga, and my current system, consisting of a huge HTML-document with a bunch of links to web readers with the stuff I read (and a javascripted randomize function, which is lovely), is starting to fail since some web hosts get taken down and loading times are annoying anyway. So I'm going to start building an archive of my own on my trusted 3TB, trying to utilize some sort of tag system with custom icons. Obviously it's going to take a while, but it'll be fun.

Basically, I'm just looking for inspiration. Do y'all have any preferences when it comes to folder organizing?

I'm not one to download and save anime episodes myself, but my friend does. He doesn't exactly have a system of his own, and just dumps everything in the same folder D: Having watched anime with him, and trying to search whether he has said episode/movie or not, I can conclude that that is absolutely not the way to organize anime folders XD Personally, I would organize by perhaps year, which would then be sub-categorized into folders containing each individual series.

On my external HD

Anime
Archive/Backlog

Manga
Archive/Backlog

Icons made for series in the archives.

On my desktop I also have a folder for airing series and things I'm currently downloading.

If I was storing hentai I'd put those in theme/genre type folders but there isn't really any need for that with regular series.

I dont download anything unless I am giffing it to post on tumblr. After I'm done I usually delete it. However, I do keep the first season of K-On, Madoka movies, and a couple episodes of Fairy Tail on computer. I just have an anime folder on desktop which I separate by series.

Should really prepare yourself for the inevitable day the internet folds in on itself and you can no longer download every time you want to watch something.

I shudder at the thought of not being able to instantly rewatch To Love-Ru at the drop of a hat.

LOL. I am one of those people who are too lazy to download episodes myself, but I do recognize and appreciate the merits that come along with downloading. My friend always wants needs the best quality: 1080p or Blu-Ray, or he just won't watch it XD I could definitely tell the difference between quality compared to streaming when we were watching.

If it was a choice between streaming and buying, I'd buy.

Yeah, the uni thing is an a problem. Somebody I speak to on MAL downloads a load of show whenever he goes to visit his parents. Obviously situations vary.
