I just get the ones I want off of Amazon usually. I don't buy that many but the few I have bought were about the same price on there as anywhere else and I'm a little worried about getting fakes.

My boyfriend is Gundam-crazy and he made me watch the last episode of Unicorn with him last night. I can do some Gundam but Unicorn was very clearly not made for me. I kinda liked 0080 though!
 
Dunno, I actually liked Unicorn. Though its better to binge watch it tbh.

It just feels sad when the whole UC timeline got effed up by a bunch of hardliners.
 
I'm only getting SD's this year and even at that I might wait till christmas to buy the Banshee, Unicorn and Neo Zeong.

Amazon sounds great thanks. I think I will finish One Piece in 2 weeks from now.

Yeah I definitely don't think it's bad, just, like I said, clearly not made for me. The first episode was great, and I thought it was going to be one of my favorite Gundam series he's had me watch so far. By the end of the second episode they started referencing events and characters that I didn't recognize. I realized during the third that this is an anime for people who are in love with the universe and know a lot about it, not people like me who on and off watch a few series and don't really retain the people in it because it's not important to me.

Then the massive gaps in between episodes meant I forgot almost every character except for Banagher and Mineva so then they had to be re-explained. So really, really not for me.
 
The greatest Gundam series is yet to be launched. Why Reconguista will be the best, simple TOMINO IS WRITING EVERY ♥♥♥♥ING EPISODE!

This is it, got it today finished it in about 3 hours. The plastic was fantastic, the spuds and roots were no problem breaking off. And now it's time to get some One Piece merch. Shanks is the best and Ace never died

Then again, I'm not a fan of mechas. I might make an exception for NGE later, but I haven't watched it yet. Time will tell. P:

And I expected that from you. xD (650+ episodes omg)

Ah, so I'm not alone after all XD; Well, in my case it isn't quite like that - I'm open to everything. In fact, I do plan to watch more mecha shows sometime. Its just that I have never got around to it. But I will. :D And NGE is character-driven mecha like TTGL. So you'd probably like it. :p

Aaaaanddd 650+ really isn't that long haha. Try following stuff like Sazae-san whose episode count is in thousands XD; The longest series that I'd actually watch one day will be Detective Conan. Series is, even now, longer than OP in terms of episode count.
 
Yeah just the other day I was talking about when we leave school we'll probably all rent out a house together and just overload it with anime merchandise. I'd really love to get all of the Straw Hat Pirates.
 
tbf I'd actually buy every single P.o.P One Piece merch if I had the money. They're all so damn beautiful.

I'd actually buy merch for all my top 10 shows, in fact. Just having them with me would make me so damn happy. <333 I wouldn't even care about people labelling me as a "weirdo" (preeeeetty common here for a 20ish year old watching a "cartoon" at my place) and I'd proudly show them off. :DDD

It'll still take months to watch every single episode. xD

And don't compare Detective Conan with One Piece. OP is a continously expanding universe (which, despite that it sounds interesting, I can't stick to it at all for some reason) while DC is a never-ending mystery-after-mystery why-has-Shinichi-yet-to-return-to-original-size-after-18-years-of-serialization universe. P:

One piece can be read from start to finish in roughly 36 hours, I'm making it my mission to read it in 2 weeks. I'm currently in Alabasta at with Mr 3 and "Ruffy" just set everything on fire. If I do what I did with JoJo I should be able to topple 30 volumes in a weekend if not more.

I'm pretty serious about my Gundam models (even though I'm not big on the show hahaha).

That actually looks really good, do you have all the tools and utensils for perfecting our 'craft' also BALL! I still have yet to get any tools for making Gunpla which is a real shame but I just don't have the money. I think I might buy some texta's to make the build strike look beautiful. And also stickers suck so much.

My boyfriend, like I mentioned before, is super into Gundam so he's got a bunch of Gunpla stuff. For that I used the basic wire cutters/exacto knife for the sprues, then I put an aerosol can primer on it, then painted it with his airbrush that was like 200 bucks. I think I used Model Master paint because the closest place that sells Tamiya is like 90 minutes away and even when we got it Model Master is the right consistency right from the jar while we had to add thinner to the Tamiya so we just stuck with Model Master.

And yeah the Ball is the best. I have the twin pack but the other one is just panel lined >___> I'd like to do a more intense paint job next time though but I can't until boyfriend gets back with his stuff haha.

This always surprises me, and it's a bit of a shame. Gundam was one of the first anime to try diving into deeper themes and the fact that directors and writers change from series to series means each one offers something different. (when they do change, that is) I'm personally a huge fan of Turn A Gundam, it's my favorite Gundams and one of my favorite anime, but I can see how it might turn people off, which is cool because there are dozens of other productions to select.
