Can't believe we're back to talking about sports.

My country's cuckoo for soccer. I don't get why people would stay up 'til midnight just to watch 22 people kicking a ball at each other haha. I mean, I'd rather watch them later than to be late for any activity I'm supposed to be doing the following day.

But yeah, almost every guy plays soccer here, and on several occasions, basketball. Volley ball and baseball is almost non-existent.

Y'know what'll be funny? An anime about Bridge. It's pretty much included into sports olympics like chess. I'll probably try to find it if one exists haha.

Nah, I live waaaaay down south lol. Exactly north of Australia. Should give you a hint on where I live if you open a map.

It's funny though, as a country who was once invaded by Japan, aside from the school system, we don't really take up anything else, even Japan's love of baseball.
 
I've got two weeks till I get back to Uni and I've finished playing catch up for this season's anime so I've been drilling through as many things that have been forever on my to-watch and on hold lists as I can.
FINALLY watched Tsuritama! and hopefully watch a bunch of old stuff that I never got round to like Mawaru Penguindrum, K, Kuroshitsuji etc.

I forgot that New Zealand is on their summer break right now haha.

On that note, I should really stop picking up other stuff to watch when I haven't cleared out my on-hold list.

Currently watching Robotic;Notes. It's been on my PTW list for waaay too long haha. So far on Episode 12, it's still interesting, but I'm kinda scared since reviewers mentioned that the second part is kinda all over the place, which starts at around episode 14.

Gosh I've heard from reviews that Robotic;Notes is all over the place but I didn't know it starts that in the second half. I'm doing a marathon from the dreaded Chaos;Head to amazing Steins;Gate to Robotic;Notes right after I finish Mawaru Penguindrum next.

Only watched the first few episode of RN when it came out and decided to hold back till I watched the other two first.

Well, from what I've seen, the first part starts out great. You'd get a lot of expectations from the show. However, I've seen a few spoilers ('cause I like to read spoilers, it makes me even more curious on what on earth happened before it reaches that point), and I have to admit... it's really all over the place.

Most reviews that I've read agree that the first half is as good as Steins;Gate, and it does fit in with how the other 2 starts off with the first half being the introduction of the main cast. But when the second part starts, it starts to become nonsense.

Hopefully it doesn't end up as low as Chaos;Head on the list haha.

Speaking of ratings, I need to fix mine up.
 
Baseball is Japan's number 1 sport and football is second. Shame Giant Killing is the only football anime I've found really good, plenty of awesome baseball series though.

Robotics;Notes was much better than Steins;Gate.

Shinji played out of position :P It was obvious fail of the Italian trainer.
Anyways, what I meant is their football passion raised most in 2002 when they were hosting the World Cup with Korea and when their female team won the World Cup.
 
It was interesting watching them though, they have such a different play style from other countries. Like jumping around.

Also, I'm still sick, so I hereby dub today Catch Up On Anime Day.
 
Haven't seen much, if any, airing in the last couple of weeks. Might well use my evening for some of that as well. Perhaps some DURRR and Parasyte.

Recently finished Candy Candy, surprised those rips didn't kill me.

Watching some Galaxy Angel now, fun little early-00s comedy show.
 
Alright, I've just finished Robotic;Notes a while ago, and to be honest... I kinda like it.

It's more to the meh scale when compared to Steins;Gate, but hey, I haven't watched it for a long time, so I can't exactly compare between the two.

Steins;Gate is still better imo.
