Hate to tell you this...but you're crazy! Nah, LOL JK, anyway, it's not a Kyogre. It looks like those pics were taken off a comercial or something, so an Advertisment? Either way, it's not a pokemon.

Would be great if these were the English logo, but they'll use the black, curved one. Shame, too, because the Japanese ones always looked so much better. (Then again, the first Japanese game I played was Emerald, so...)

Awesome boxart is awesome. Not much else to say there. And I don't think Ho-oh looks bloated at all. XD It's cool to see the Tin Tower and Whirl Islands behind the two, though. Definitely getting HeartGold. XD

And I'm kind of warming up to the idea of the PokeWalk or whatchamacallit. I mean, I'm not sure I'll use it, but maybe it'll come in handy?

I'm sure that seeing the item comes with the game as a bundle, some people who may be thinking it is a waste might just end up using it. There are a lot of people who don't like the idea of something at first but eventually grow towards it. Once people start learning more about it and how to use it, it may become one of their favorite bundles included with the game.

Now, I never criticized on Lugia and Ho-Oh for the new box art. I've got to say that Lugia looks good like they usually do with it. The sleek silver, white, and blue look it has makes it catch someone's eye quite fast. Ho-Oh, I don't see looking bloated at all. I would just assume it is the new art style used that gives it somewhat of the appearance. Now, I like Ho-Oh's style, and it is different from some of the art we usually see with it. However, I still favor Lugia more, but that is just my opinion and personal preference on the view of the new box art.
 
I don't really care about the box art.
All I care about is the game inside ;)

QFT, it is the GAME that matters most! The art is already quite appealing and why, I wouldn't mind if they go with that normal font. . . Just please do not screw up the game (Which I am sure they won't)

The box art is pretty cool, the game is more important, but I do think it's a nice addition. ^_^

It's so professional looking, lolol.

Yep, you're right. They are larger than usual box sizes as it is bundled in with the PokéWalker. That little device that boosts the level of your Pokémon and its happiness for every step you make.

Yes, even if Ho-Oh may not be too appealing to some of the people for its box art image, we cannot deny the box color for HeartGold has truly kept the "gold" look. SoulSilver also has the silver shine to it, but with a touch of blue as well. This doesn't hurt though, as Lugia looks great in the image.

Definitely will be a worthy buy on my part; at least for now it looks like it will be a benefit purchase.
 
I like these a lot. Especially with how good Ho-Oh looks, for once. Very majestic there. And seeing the PokeWalker on the box, and how the boxes are pictured big enough to come with the PokeWalker, makes me very excited. I want that PokeWalker.

At least the official box art has come out, so all the speculation and fake box arts can finally stop. >_>

well maybe they put this and the other font will be on the game cartage thats just a guess
 
I like it. Im really excited for these games now. I expect it to come this way in the US too.
 
Just got word of the new Japanese boxarts for HG/SS! I'll expand on my comment later with another in-depth post, but right now I have just one word for the portrayals of Lugia and Ho-Oh:
FIERCE. :D :pirate:

I'm really glad that the size of the boxes matches the utter EPICNESS of the games HeartGold and SoulSilver!! Simply awesome. :)
 
WOW!! This is looking so epic! I don't think they have ever done this on a pokemon game (dont correct if im wrong). Unfortunatlly for me, this means the shipping will cost a bit more... buts thats a minor detail! I cant wait to see this in my mail!
 
I like these. It looks like Ho-oh and Lugia are about to duke it out. Lugia looking down at Ho-oh thinking about how to attack while Ho-oh is looking up at Lugia read to strike. EPic.
