    This is just something which happened to dawn upon me for some reason. :P Simply put, who do you think is the most famous Unovian in the games? Something like this could be interesting because people don't necessarily talk about other people in the game and just tell you something about themselves, so I'm dawning this question upon you. Do you think it's Elesa because she's a model of sorts, or maybe even Looker because he's part of the national police?

    Please mind this, that saying people like Nurse Joy or other such people who are in every game shouldn't be mentioned. I'm talking about people who play somewhat of a significant role in the game. So who do you think is the most famous of Unova?

    To be honest, I would say Alder, but he's only really mentioned in one small section at Route 5, so I'd say either Clay or Skyla. Clay is mentioned quite a lot in at least Driftveil City because he owns the big mining corporation there, as well as being under control of the Driftveil Drawbridge. Not to mention he plays some nice roles in the game later on, opening up Chargestone Cave and allowing you access to Twist Mountain. Skyla on the other hand, is some famous cargo pilot, so it's obvious she'd be spoken about in all places, expecially Mistralton City.

    What are your thoughts on this?
     
    I agree with the above statement but I would also say the champion alder. I mean he would be the equivalent to a superbowl winning quarterback in terms of popularity.
     
    At the time of the game or in general? Because at the time of the game, it would be Ghetsis imo. While the Gym Leaders and Elite Four and such would all be well-known of course, when Ghetsis shows up and starts talking, he'd be all over the news everywhere and everyone would be talking about him and his message. If Gym Leaders are consulted, it would be what they think about what Ghetsis said. They'd just be a foil to him in his popularity.
     
    Ive never really thought about certain NPCs to be famous until I read this thread xD

    After reading it though, I am gonna agree that Alder has the most popularity around Unova.. he is seen before you battle him (though its like that in all other generations too) and he actually calls himself Unova's champion when you first meet him, unlike the other champions. Therefore, people who see him in person around Unova must deeply admire him for being the champion.

    i think alder too. He's just a great champion, who seems to be an idol of sorts. Besides, Unova is basically a pokemon region and is part of the pokemon world, so the champion would be the most famous person/trainer of them all.
     
    I think that Alder is the most famous Unova resident because he's the Champion. I also think Elesa is famous because of how she is shown as a model.

    Didn't really think about that tbh. :o Ghetsis would be known throughout, especially at the end of the game, so would N... wouldn't there be like a huge search party looking for him? Since he took off with the legendary Pokemon and he caused all kinds of crap, like destroying the Champions room.
     
    I'd say it would always be the villains. They essentially always get the most mention from NPCs throughout the game, so therefore are famous through their infamy.
     
    Well, Brycen used to be a movie actor so that's pretty famous also.
    But since Alder's the champion I'd say he's the most famous.
     
    Everyone is missing the fact that there is always one person more famous than the champion...

    You > Alder > N > Cynthia > Elite Four > Elesa > Skyla > Brycen > Clay > Harmonica > Professor > Other Gym Leaders > Everyone Else > Looker

    You saved the freaking world so everyone knows who you are even the hermits that don't know who Alder is... Looker is a secret agent... You are like one of the only people in Unova that knows he is even in the region...

    Id have to say it would be N. i mean hed have to be on the news in addition to winning Alder. but id have to agree with Alder too
     
    For me I think its Elesa because of her being a model And because of her Volt Switching Pokemon
