Just Red will do it - no need to beat the Elite Four again to get them (same for Hoenn starters).

oh, my bad.
but it's good to beat the elite four before red anyway... good training 'nd all.
and that reminds me, does that mean that you don't need to beat the elite 4 every time before you battle red?

Haven't tried going for Red again, but I have heard that to reset him after the first time you do have to beat the Elite Four again, as in GSC.

it's definitely day-based, otherwise, how difficult would it be to get if it were random? y'know? not to mention it has to be accessible again, so, random just wouldn't make sense.
is there anything other than TM10 you can get out of that place?

TM43 (Secret Power)
Found in the hidden part of the Lake of Rage, past the maze and near the house, on the northwest side of the lake's maze.
Red Flute
Found in the hidden part of the Lake of Rage, on the western side of it. Requires Surf.
Choice Specs
Found in the northeastern corner of the lake, by surfing and going past some bushes onto some land in the very back. Requires Surf.

I keep thinking there's something I have to recover for the Power Plant...cause I remember getting the TM for Zap Cannon in exchange for it in Silver. I could be mistaken. Also, I forgot how to get the Kanto Radio Card. Meh?

Well, after you're done with the Magnet Train incident, go to the Kanto Radio tower and talk to the man in the brown coat to upgrade your Radio card in your Pokegear in order to listen to KANTO channels.

How do you activate the trades with Brock and Lt.Surge?

I've re-fought them and everything. I have a Viridian Forest Pikachu AND a newly-htached Bonsly in my party.

Brock just spouts something in Japanese, while Lt.Surge is MIA at all times of the day(He's supposed to only be out of his gym between 9 and 11 AM). He isn't at the Fighting Dojo or Outside the Power Plant, either :/

Y'see, theres a Few Pokes That i would like to have in the Party, Only problem, I dont know where to get them. So help out please

First, Chinchou, This guy evolves into Lanturn, Who is Beast at higher levels, So i would like to know where to find a Chinchou.

Second, Larvitar, Yeah, you know Larvitar as the Pokemon Who captured Peoples Souls with His Godly Evolution, Tyranitar. So where do you get this Little Bugger? Please tell.

Thirdly, Gligar, Yeah, I want to know where this Guy can be found and also at what level, I think Gliscor is An awesome Pokemon, One of my Faves.

Fourth, Tangela, Same thing with Gligar, Where and at What Level, This guy is going to be a Main eddition to my Team so i need him as soon as possible.

Lastly, Murkrow, I know hes probably Located in Ilex forest or something, But it doesn't hurt to have it 100% Confirmed. So yes, Please tell


Theres my list, Also i plan on Having Heart Gold, so tell me if any of these guys are unobtainable in Heart gold.

Chinchou is found via fishing on Ocean Routes.

Larvitar can be either bought at a Casino or captured at Mount Silver

Gligar is found in the route south of Blackthorn and is exclusive to Heart Gold

Tangela can be found on the route just before Ice Path and outside Mount Silver

Murkrow is found in Kanto on the route between Celedon and Saffron at night only

Some of these guys might be in the Safari zone, but I'm more familiar with the areas in the original GSC.

Dammit, you mean a have to re-fight Brock Again?

And I only use Fly twice to travel between Regions so I never would've seen him in the Magnet Train Station.

I know the originals from the back of my hand(2nd Gen Junkie Forever!), but the new content is what always throws me off.

I'm sad that the Chansey for Aerodactyl trade is gone :< Even though you can just revive one now, it's not the same.

Yeah, both Lavitar and Murkrow can be found in the Safari Zone as well (west of Cianwood). With Larvitar though you have to upgrade the Safari Zone first though, I believe? (Catch a geodude in there and show it to the man inside the reception area and wait a day for him to call you so you can then swap the areas around? Check serebii.net or something about it if you need to know more). Either way it is rare there.

Yeah.. I messed up with erasing my file so I had to use a back-up. I forgot what the moveset was. So I have to think of it plus a moveset for my replacement for Heracross Ursaring. I gotta think of something. Also with Ninetales and a replacement for Slowbro's Zen Headbutt.

You can always wait until a Luvdisc Mass Outbreak happens.
Got 99 scales by farming them for a hour or so a few days ago.

The Magnet Train incident is the Copy Cat Girl thing, right? I haven't played through Kanto in GSC in a long time, so I really don't remember this stuff.

Exactly, once you complete the Copy Cat's lost doll quest and she rewards you with the Ticket, then you will have solved that problem. This allows easy access travel between the two regions and will open up the connection in which you can listen to Kanto Channels on the radio after your update.

In case you have forgotten the mission that Copy Cat requests, here is a short resolution. In short, her doll is missing and if you find it and return it to her, then she will reward you with the Magnet Train ticket. You will find her doll in Vermilion City's Pokémon FanClub. The man sitting near the table will give it to you in which you can return it to the Copy Cat in Saffron City. After you will earn your Magnet Train Ticket. Now you can head on over back to the Kanto Radio Tower to get your radiocard updated.
