4th Gen [Old] HG/SS Help Thread

In SS I am planning to trade a murkrow egg and a Dusk Stone Later.Will HG/SS be like FR/LG and prevent the evolution from occuring if I use the Dusk Stone before the National Dex or will it let me evolve normaly?
 
Where do I go to do wifi trading/battling? I can't find it anywhere?
 
I think downstairs a Pokemon Center o_O;
It's just like DPPt in that regard. :<

What routes are above and below goldenrod city? (don't ask why I want to know XD)

Sorry I haven't played a pokemon game since original silver/gold. Only reason I asked was because it had a lady blocking the stairs downstairs for at least 2 badges. Then it finally opened up around the 3rd badge.

Above = 35, below = 34.

You can't get Pichu early at all - have to get a Pikachu and breed it. (But you can trade over that shiny pikachu event that was about in a few places recently/now and use it to unlock a spiked-ear pichu in Ilex Forest...) Pikachu can be caught in some Pokewalker routes as well (generally hard-to-unlock ones though), including an event one or two that may be given out later, who knows.

It has to be on Saturdays between 5pm and 8pm I believe - are you asking him that in diglett's cave during that specific time slot?
 
Anyone know what level the dratini you get from the casino in goldenrod city is? I'm thinking of playing the minesweeper game until I have enough coins but I don't want to get a level 30+ dratini. I only want one if it's around my pokemon levels or lower (18).
 
also, do you know how the voltorb game decides if you get dropped down a level or not? I know if you hit a voltorb on the first try you go to level 1, but sometimes i hit a voltorb on my 3rd or 4th try and drop down.

Yes, it would appear shiny in the overworld - and the same for every other Pokemon as well. =)

I can't say, haven't played it yet. More info would come through with that soon though, I believe. (Or Jake could tell you...
 
Not directly to them, but you can transfer them to DPPt and then trade to HGSS.

I just bought the dratini and I received it at level 15 :) Since I didn't catch the pokemon, will it disobey me if I don't have high enough badges for it when the dratini is a higher level?
 
Well this involves Pineco's ability in HG/SS so I suppose it goes here.

Anyways if Pineco has the ability Sturdy and you teach it Explosion will it faint upon using the move or will sturdy stop Explosions effect?
 
sturdy negates OHKO moves (fissure,sheer cold,guillotine and horn drill).Explosion has nothing to do with it
