Old PC Days

Agreed. It was much easier to find a battle and the battles were harder as well.

Old PC was fun, New PC is fun, all is good~ :D
 
*shakes fists at users from 2007 and 2008 who misses their "good old days"* You're all very new members, confound it!
But yes, I agree with pokejungle up there. My old PC (which was 2005-06) were lots of fun, with a little too much drama DCC, ahem ;3; New PC is great. With a more up-to-date rules guidelines, an active staff, the forum is more tame and enjoyable.
 
I miss the days where you didn;t have to be a tier 3+ supporter, know the right people, or be staff; to be liked. Where being nice was considered a better trait than being a jerk etc.

PC 2006 was the best :(
 
I miss late 07 and early 08. I miss when clans are around. like you guys don't even know :P

I'm not really the kind of person that gets nostalgic over stuff.

To be honest, I was more of an immature person back in '06 so I was ignorant of what exactly made PC so good back then? Yeah it was just look-post-repeat to me. D:

So PC is pretty much... the same from previous years?
 
I've been here a little over two years, but that's probably not long enough for a legit post in this thread but w/e lol.

I just miss old S&M, AKA Flameland (I believe it was Went who coined the term when Luke Bear got promoted lol)...not because it was a good forum, but because it was fun. I remember old folks like Candymancan, Diyobs, Houndoom666, codymr14, and several others who at same point got crushed by our flaming. Poor guys lol. It was so much more active back in the day =(. I also remember the best overall team thread, itachi's Dragonite thread and his subsequent flame of D_A (AKA our best battler), and then Smarties destroying him lol. In fact, anything to do with Itachi was usually an adventure, plus the random member feuds (me usually being a participant) were great. I came when Aragornbird ran the forum, so a lot changed since then. All of the early DP stuff was great, like "OMG VIRE/HERACROSS WEAK" and the random noobishness of most of the "good" battlers in the section...hahaha, those were fun times.

But I still like PC. I don't think about the past too often, but I occasionally go back a good one or two hundred pages and laugh at all of our old silliness. I would sure hope that the days of Flameland don't come back, as fun as they were.
 
PC was actually fun and had great members back in 04-05. Nowadays it's just boring.
 
Posting here will never be as fun as it was when I was actually proud of my post count. o.O; I don't think the upper staff understands the good feeling that comes from posting after one another and having emotional value attached your posts, which is one of their limitations keeping them from making PC more interesting.

I remember much of the past, but I don't miss most of it. I moved on.
 
I left PC. and I'm about to leave it again xD
But I have a few matters I must finish before I leave.

I think PC was better when we didn't have like 90% of the users being 12 y/o.

Can't be helped if new pokemon fans are that young... we were that young. =(

But I understand. :\
 
In years there's not much of a difference, but in maturity however...

They have no choice but to be clique, PC's too big now :3, especially for new members.

She was charming, I loved her flooding up entire pages of PC. :x
 
I don't think I've been here long enough to have witnessed this great... era of PC. Haha, but it sure sounds pretty awesome.

Just a question when DID PC start turning into what it was today?
