    Who will be the protagonist?
    May and Brendan
    What role will Wally play?
I'm going to assume that he will be used for the Pokemon catching tutorial, and fights against him will occur more often. In his final battle against you, he will use a Mega Gardevoir, along with a Gallade. He'll be in Ever Grande City after you beat the Elite 4, and will allow you to battle him every day.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will be the gym leader of Sootopolis in Omega Ruby while Wallace will be the gym leader in Alpha Sapphire. Steven will be the champion, and he'll also have a post-game fight, like in Emerald.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
You will now get the option to take on the Elite 4 in any order you wish. Gym Leader's and Elite 4 Members' teams will be editted to have new Pokemon and items from the latest generations. Steven would use a MegaMetagross or a Mega Aggron during his fight against the player.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
A character that randomly shows up, giving you items such as a PokeRadar and Vs. Recorder, and also to tell you about the Battle Frontier.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Most likely the same as in the originals.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

Mega Kyogre is pure-water with an ability which is basically an infinite-Drizzle, which lasts more turns and decreases the power of Fire-type moves more, with his signature move being some extremely powerful water-attack which only works while it's raining. His moveset could also include Thunder to take advantage of the rain.

Mega Groudon could be Ground/Fire with an infinite-Drought, with his signature move being a powerful ground-type attack.
    — their roles in the games will be?
Same as before, the evil teams want to control them and take advantage of their powers.
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
I'd say that instead of Red/Blue orbs being used, Kyogrite and Groudite would be used instead of the Red/Blue orbs.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Omega Ruby would have Seedot, Magby, Solrock, Vulpix, Groudon (And their evolutionary lines)
Alpha Sapphire: Lotad, Starmie, Lunatone, Politoed, Kyogre (And the rest of their evolutionary lines)
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Of course. Most of them from the beginning, then you'd unlock a few more more awesome ones post-elite 4...Sort of like the Pokemon Outbreaks in BW2.
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Most of the ones that were unavailable in X/Y will be included, not sure about the ones that would be excluded though. Manaphy/Phione and Regigigas will definitely be in. To access Regigigas, you would need to have all 3 Regis in your party, as usual.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Mega Sharpedo, Mega Camerupt, MegaSwampert, MegaSceptile, MegaTentacruel, MegaShiftry, MegaExploud, MegaNinetails, MegaMetagross, MegaRayquaza, MegaLatios, MegaLatias.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Metagrosite would be a held item on the Beldum Steven would gift you. Swamerite/Sceptite would be given to you by Steven as well. Rayquazanite would be an item in Rayquaza's chamber. The professor would give you an Exploudnite, Ninetailite, or Shiftrinite depending on your starter. Sharpedonite and Camerite would be on a gift Sharpedonite/Camerite (Sharpedonite in AS, Camerite in OR) inside the respective team's HQ. Lati@site will be given to you by your father.
    New areas to be introduced?
-A "Distant Land" which you can only travel to after catching every Pokemon in the National Dex.
-A small building which would allow you to go to someone else's Secret Base.
-Restaurant and Hotels from X/Y, a few barren islands that would be used for future event Pokemon.
-A new City which is unlocked Post-Elite 4.
-An area where you can plant and harvest berries, like in X/Y.
    -Join Avenue!
    Ideas for post-game content?
    -Roaming Beast Trio
-The Regi trio, but this time they don't require you to solve those annoying puzzles.
-Ability to battle the gym leaders again, who use lv85~ pokemon, right after beating the Elite Four. Would provide a nice challenge. Beating them all again could maybe provide a 2nd Master Ball?
-If your secret base is good enough, gym leaders or Elite Four members could visit your secret base and give you an item.
-Options to buy more stuff for your secret base.
-Mega Stone Master, who would give you rare Pokemon when you bring a Mega Stone to him.
-The ability to battle your rival every day
    -Contests
-The ability to get one of the Johto Starters after beating your rival in a Post-E4 battle.
-Oval Charm for seeing every Pokemon in the National Dex
-Shiny Charm for catching every Pokemon in the National Dex.
-Kanto region to explore again, sort of like Kanto in GSCHGSS.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
Most likely May and Brendan if they decide to keep true to how the other remakes have gone.

    What role will Wally play?
Wally could possibly play a stronger rival role. He didn't have that many appearances in the games before so maybe there will be more to his side of the story and he'll make more appearances.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan could most likely be the 8th gym leader, Wallace the champion and steven fills in the ultimate trainer role in the game like Red in HGSS as it was in emerald version.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
There will now be a puzzle created by the trick master that you need to get through before you're able to go inside and battle the elite four and the champion.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
He most likely will, once again to let the trainer know of some place where elite trainers battle it out. (battle frontier) I'm hoping that the battle frontier will be updated and look even better than before.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Rayquaza will once again fill the role of being the one being that calms Groudon and Kyogre. This time however, there will be more lore in the game speaking of Rayquaza.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Kyogre will recieve an ice type added to it and their signature move will be a variation of stone edge. The move has giant chunks of ice appear from the ground that deal damage and hurt a pokemon being switched in like in stealth rock. Groudon will recieve a rock type added to his current ground type. His signature move will be a variation of blast burn or eruption. The move will cause chunks of rock and lava to hurt the other pokemon and burns the other pokemon, if they can be affected by a burn status.
    — their roles in the games will be?
Their roles will be put against each other, like in R/S/E team magma and team aqua will be trying to get one of the pokemon to try and take over the world in their own way.
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
Kyogre and groudons mega stones will involve the red and blue orb respectively, but there will be another item needed to complete their mega evolution. That item will be found in the tower where Rayquaza sleeps.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Latios and Latias, one for each game. Maybe they'll also have vulpix in one and growlithe in the other. Also, there could be a Deoxys event for one version and Jirachi event for the other but both will be able to recieve the mew.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    Yes they will
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
All will be included except for some of the starters in the other games.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
A mega evolution for deoxys, rayquaza, kyogre, groudon, tropius, and several others.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
The mega evolution stones will be hidden throughout the lands, one of them being on mirage island for Rayquaza.

    New areas to be introduced?
The moon (will explain in the next question.) The battle frontier the area will be larger and there will be a jungle area around there where pokemon like tropius and aipom can be found.

    Ideas for post-game content?
Some kinds of islands like the sevii islands in FRLG. There also could be a place like the fighting dojo in HGSS where you can go and battle the gym leaders once again, whenever they accept.
Also, they could add space. There could be an event where you are able to board the space ship and go to the moon. There you are able to find deoxys, or jirachi depending on the version game you choose. The moon will have a variety of mazes that all lead up to what looks like an abandoned town of sorts. In that town you will be able to find deoxys/jirachi.

    Who will be the protagonists?

Brendan and May. They will be customizable, but they will be still Brendan and May. I know that Game Freak changed female character in HG/SS, but unlike Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire is not a third release.

    What role will Wally play?

He will be your rival. He will also catch Ralts during capture tutorial. Except, he will appear more often than just... uh... twice. And he will have his own music theme. And he will have some small side story of his own. He will be most similar to Hugh, from existing rivals. I'm almost sure he will also have Mega Ring.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?

Juan will appear as Battle Frontier boss, Wallace will be Sootopolis Gym Leader, and Steven will be champion. I'm sure that they wouldn't want Juan to disappear (he was in B2W2, after all), but fans want Steven as a champion. Therefore, he will become Battle Frontier boss.

Edit: Recently, information about Steven Stone being interested in mega stones were released. I'm sure I noted that, but it appears I didn't. I mean, it's obvious that Steven Stone would interested in Mega Stones. Sometimes I forgot about obvious things... Still, I consider Steven to be champion, because I obviously knew about that, I just forgot about it while making the prediction (honestly).

Will there be any other League-related changes?

Roxanne will have Geodude and Nosepass. Geodude will have Rock Head as an ability. Nosepass will have Sturdy. Geodude will be level 13, and Nosepass level 16.

Brawly will have Machop, and Makuhita. Makuhita will be holding Sitrus Berry. His Makuhita will be level 20.

Wattson will have Voltorb and Magneton. SonicBoom will be replaced with Volt Switch. Magneton will have Mirror Shot instead of Shock Wave. The final Magneton will be level 25, and have Sitrus Berry. He will give TM with Volt Switch, and Thunderbolt after New Mauville quest.

Flannery's Torkoal will get White Herb, which will allow it to spam Overheat, and it will have rather arbitrary Flail replaced with Sunny Day. The mons will have higher levels.

Norman will get his own battle theme (see Korrina for prior art). First Norman's Slaking will be replaced with Spinda. Norman's Vigoroth will become Linoone. Slaking will hold Sitrus Berry. The Slaking will have Giga Impact (when you have Truant, recharge moves aren't any issue), instead of lol Focus Punch. He will also have more importance for the story. The mons will have higher levels.

Winona's Altaria will have Sitrus Berry. She won't have Pelipper anymore, because of X/Y three mons limit. The mons will also have higher levels.

Tate and Liza. Wow, this. I honestly hope they would not have just two very similar mons. Making predictions here is rather unsafe. They wouldn't remove them, and they wouldn't make this battle a single battle. But for a good double battle, they would have to have four mons. This is seventh gym, and while they didn't do it in X/Y, they will have four mons, to be exact, something similar to their Emerald team. The official format appears to be three Pokémon for singles, and four for doubles anyway.

Wallace. Yes, I assume the gym leader is Wallace, which isn't that obvious, considering Emerald's changes. Considering my previous risky assumption that previous gym leader should have four Pokémon. Honestly, they surely must have noticed the X/Y is too easy, so I'm going to assume Wallace will have four Pokémon (yes, it's a crazy prediction). Seriously, Champion has six Pokémon, so the player is better prepared for the final battle. Anyway, he won't have his Luvdisc, and all Water Pulses will be replaced with Scald (you may have noticed how many water TMs are in the game - two, to be exact - Scald is practically confirmed, because why Gym Leader would give Rain Dance, which most likely will be in Abandoned Ship instead). The levels will be increased.

The Elite Four won't change much, aside of level changes.

Champion Steven will have Mega Aggron, and slightly increased levels of everything. This also means the Aggron will be the final Pokémon, not the Metagross. However, the Metagross will be also highly leveled, which is normally property reserved for final Pokémon. Steven will also appear before Ever Grande City on few occasions (just like Lance, Cynthia or Alder), and will give Mega Ring once.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?

Yes, he will return, and have the same role as in Emerald. No real changes here. Oh, and I assume Battle Frontier to exist, I think that Game Freak doesn't want to risk not having it.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?

Well, considering sneak peek looking like the Rayquaza's cutscene from Emerald, I assume the Rayquaza will be needed to calm Kyogre and Groudon. But even considering that, it's still Ruby and Sapphire remake, not Emerald remake, you won't get to catch Rayquaza before defeating the Champion.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
    — their roles in the games will be?
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

First of all, their abilities. I assume they will be permanent version of Drizzle and Drought. Let me explain. You will battle the Mega Kyogre and Mega Groudon during the plot, in similar style to Black/White Kyurem in B2W2, during final battle with evil Team Magma/Aqua Boss (which is more evil than in Ruby/Sapphire). The legendary will be possible to capture post game. You won't be able to capture it. It would be anti-climatic if the sun or rain would end during the battle. The types will stay, they wouldn't want to confuse fans who played original Ruby and Sapphire.

Considering that Soul Dew is not a Mega Stone for Lati@s, I would assume Red and Blue Orbs aren't Mega Stones. That would get confusing, as the description would have to hide the fact it's Mega Stone, which could be too confusing after capturing Kyogre/Groudon. Instead, there will be two new items called Kyogrite, and Groudonite. You can guess what they do (hint: they mega evolve).

As for signature moves, they won't get any new signature moves. The original post mentioned them, but honestly, I'm almost sure they will want to make this compatible with X and Y.

But seriously, this question assumes they are mega evolutions. I honestly think that "Mega" Groudon, and "Mega" Kyogre aren't in fact Mega, but new formes (the "never before seen Pokémon" is the same terminology that was used for Kyurem's formes, and mega evolutions are too predictable), just like Kyurem Black and White. This would make them compatible with X and Y, without having to update the game. Forced updates for local trades is something I think Game Freak would prefer to avoid.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?

I'm going to mention entire evolution families, even if I mention just one here. It wouldn't make much sense otherwise, because you can breed or evolve. Also, for Lati@s, I ignore Southern Island event, which most likely will exist.

Omega Ruby: Seedot, Mawile, Zangoose, Solrock, Groudon, Ledyba, Slowpoke, Pinsir, Shieldon, Dialga, Latios, Buneary, Aron, Dratini
Alpha Sapphire: Lotad, Sableye, Seviper, Lunatone, Kyogre, Spinarak, Seel, Scyther, Cranidos, Palkia, Latias, Glameow, Electrike, Larvitar

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

Yes. Magnezone, Rhyperior, Gallade, Probopass, Budew, Roserade, Dusknoir, Chingling, and Froslass.

But seriously, they will appear, but only in post game, after defeating the Champion. Too many to count however, so I'm not going to give over half of Pokédex.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?

Latios and Latias. Mega Blaziken will stay event-only.

Edit: I'm going to leave the original prediction, to not cheat. However, Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, and Mega Diancie were confirmed (I'm seriously surprised on Mega Diancie, but whatever), which opens the way for more Mega Evolutions (if those would be compatible with X and Y, then more would be too). So, the prediction is Ancient Rayquaza (if not in this game, then in Delta Emerald), Mega Latios, Mega Latias,

Edit #2: Ignoring starters (which are known), I predict Latios, Latias, Kecleon, Jynx. Plusle and Minun don't seem likely... actually no, I'm going to predict them too, because that's exactly crazy. So, Latios, Latias (XY hacks), Kecleon, Jynx (trademarks), Plusle and Minun (yes, I know, it's crazy, but it's funnier when the pair is more unbalanced).

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?

Southern Island. They will be held by event Latios and Latias.

Edit: The starters mega stones will be given by Steven Stone.

Edit #2: Jynx will be in Icefall Cave (or if Sevii Islands won't be in game, Shoal Cave). Kecleon will be in Scorched Slab, because it's not that it's used for anything real anyway (and it's close to their usual location). Sunny Day can be moved to the Department Store anyway. Plusle and Minun will be in New Mauville, and exact stone will depend on the version.

    New areas to be introduced?

Sevii Islands, which will include many species of Pokémon which aren't in the Hoenn Pokédex. The Sevii Islands will be also expanded, and will have in particular the location to get Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina (Dialga and Palkia are version exclusive, and Giratina requires both Dialga and Palkia). Also, Mt. Ember will host Heatran, not Moltres. The team Rocket's HQ won't exist on the island, but you will see Team Aqua/Magma's HQ instead.

Friend Safari that will look exactly like in Pokémon X and Y because Game Freak is just lazy.

    Ideas for post-game content?

Uh, Sevii Islands. I believe I mentioned all in new areas. Well, there is Battle Frontier, and Safari Zone will include new Pokémon. What more you need, you have Sevii Islands. And, uh, Gym Leader rematches.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
May and Brendan same as the first ones.

    What role will Wally play?
I don't think he will play a big role. Think he might just be a small rival like he was.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan will be 8th Gym Leader, Wallace will be the Champion, and Steven will be a wandering trainer, possibly the one that tells us about Mega Evolution.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
No, maybe a slight changed in their teams.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Yes, He will tell us of the Battle Frontier.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
To stop Kyogre and Groudon from fighting. And to get his own 2 Megas or at least 1.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — Fire/Ground or Ground/Dragon for Groudon. Ice/Water or Water/Dragon for Kyogre.
    — A more epic battle between one another.
    — It is possible for the orbs to be their mega stones, or a different type of mega.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Mawile, Sableye. and a few others.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Yes. I would say only a few at the start, but I think most will be available after E4. I think we will be able to catch most of all of them with in the game.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Sableye, Metagross, Sceptile O. Sceptile A, Swampert, Groudon, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Raichu.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Depends on the pokemon, the will be scattered around the game, my guess, one or two will be found on Mt. Pyre and one on Fiery Path and on Mt. Chimney

    New areas to be introduced?
Most definetly, I would say a few large areas or a few islands.

    Ideas for post-game content?
Battle Frontier, Legendary Pokemon Hunting, Contests.

  • Who will be the protagonists?

May and Brendan, they will likely have updated looks a la HGSS or FRLG.

    What role will Wally play?

Same role as before, but with more appearances possibly? He just disappeared for large parts of the original games.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?

Most likely the same roles they played in Emerald, similar to how Eusine and Suicune played big roles in HGSS like they did in Crystal, despite those games being Gold and Silver remakes.

Will there be any other League-related changes?

I imagine there will be many gyms updated into puzzles that better suit a 3D engine.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?

The same role he played in Emerald, that is to say, barely anything.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?

He will probably play the same role as he did in Emerald, but perhaps not pushing Kyogre and Groudon to the side as much. These are their games, after all.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Types will probably stay the same.
Any change to their abilities would probably make them less viable in battles, so possibly no change?
Signature moves - Something that compliments their current abilities.

    — their roles in the games will be?
Omega Ruby will have a greater focus on Groudon and the drought he causes
while Alpha Sapphire will have a greater focus on Kyogre and the widespead flooding and rainstorms he summons.

    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
It is likely their megastones will also be the orbs.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Groudon will be caught in the main story of OR
    Kyogre in AS

The other Hoenn exclusives will be the same as in the original RS.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?

They will likely not be available in the wild, at least not until post E4, perhaps at a place like the Friend Safari, or be available in the Safari Zone.

    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Legendaries exclusive to previous versions (BW/2, XY) will be excluded.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Sceptile and Swampert are very likely candidates, it doesn't seem balanced for just Blaziken to get one.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
    Some underwater, perhaps?

    New areas to be introduced?
Perhaps they will have some extra islands to explore like in FRLG. There are unused islands on the current Hoenn map.

    Ideas for post-game content?

More Battle Frontier attractions. Lots more secret base items for more personalization perhaps some could be won at the Battle Frontier. Maybe there will be a PWT type attraction at the Battle Frontier.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
I'm going to say two new ones so they can more easily include multiple races. Or maybe May/Brendon will be the white choice.
    What role will Wally play?
Probably something to do with the discovery of mega-stones for his Gardevoir.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
    Steven? Mega-stones
The other two? Gym leader/supporting characters.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
Besides slight team changes I doubt it except for to incorporate newer Pokemon.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
I don't think so. Maybe a small side-story in the frontier.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Similar to the one in Emerald so it's just not sitting there doing nothing like in R/S.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
    — their roles in the games will be?
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
Abilities, types, and moves all the same. Moves don't change with megas at least not yet. Their roles will just be to portray angrier Groudon/Kyogre. I'm going to go with their megastones are the blue/red orb.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
    OR- Groudon AS- Kyogre
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
I think they'll do something similar to what they did in HG/SS. Make them rare..needing special things to encounter a lot of them.
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
    I think so.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
They'll probably find a way to make it so they are everywhere. I can imagine some kind of event where they find out megastones are similar to the virus that created Deoxys. Crashed down on a meteorite and evolved with certain Pokemon. A meteor crashed down in Hoenn and spread megastones throughout Hoenn for Hoenn Pokemon. That's just an example of something they could do. IN-GAME DEOXYS EVENT PLZ
    New areas to be introduced?
    Of course!
    Ideas for post-game content?
Oh god there are so many. Let's just hope for another sub-region. I mean..all the remakes have had a second region..kind of.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May, don't see any reason for this to change if it's a remake.

    What role will Wally play?
I personally think he will become a more prominent rival in OR and AS, still posing a few "easy" battles in the middle while still keeping the "WTF Wally how did you get this friggin party?" ending. Maybe a bit more character development, but not to the point where he's entirely different.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
I personally think that Wallace will be the 8th gym leader and that Steven will be the champion (like it was originally), while making Juan a bit of a close friend to Wallace. I could definitely see him assisting with the whole weather disaster, and maybe even a few side battles.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
I don't think they'll be modifying the league too much, mostly because there's not much to modify.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
I think Scott will remain in the game, but instead of having all the Battle Tents all over the place they'll go back to the old contest system. So Scott will basically just do his periodic checkups every now and then.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
I think what will end up happening is that there will be both Groudon and Kyogre, similar to how Emerald works, but instead of being able to find both you end up only finding one of the two. So Rayquaza will still intervene and stop the fight, and he will still be up on his giant perch.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
    — their roles in the games will be?
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

I think the Mega Stones will become a more prominent thing in this game. Before, the orbs were used to awaken both Groudon and Kyogre, so if these orbs are in fact mega stones then logically the mega stones would react and possibly awaken the two monsters if it is within contact. I also believe that the mega evolution will be what ends up making the disaster more of a disaster, since their powers will only become stronger while Mega Evolved.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
Pretty much everything same as Ruby and Sapphire. Not much reason to change it.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

I personally think that this one will be a yes, and through the Safari Zone like Emerald. Obviously there's not too much reason to add these pokemon though since you can transfer them up but I can definitely see them throwing in a few here and there.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Sabeleye, because Mawile got one, Skarmory, Claydol, Flygon, Grumpig, Aagron, and possibly Castform.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
I'm predicting that they will be hidden similar to X and Y, where instead of being in their environment they'll just be, well, hidden. If I were to pinpoint locations, I'd say in the Meteor Falls, Magma Hideout, Aqua Hideout, Underwater, and My. Pyre.

    New areas to be introduced?
The two islands on the bottom corner of the map. It always bothered me that Battle Frontier was suddenly one of those islands but none of the others were introduced as formal islands. I personally would like to have the bigger V-ish shaped one be a large jungle with a lot of different Gen Pokemon existing in it. Either that or a post-game event item with a legendary of sorts.

    Ideas for post-game content?
I'd say a reintroduction to the Sevii islands since they are very unlikely to remake Fire Red and Leaf Green (although they are definitely welcome to do it), Faraway Island (with an event item to get there), The old battle frontier (which was the best), more secret base items (maybe from Wi-Fi events), and more secret areas that existed in Hoenn kinda like how Emerald did them. Emerald was the best at making you reconsider the fact that there could be more to explore than you initially thought, and it was amazing.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May. The game is said to be a remake so we should assume they will be the protagonists since in past remakes, the protagonists matched their past counterparts.
    What role will Wally play?
I think he will play out as a 2nd rival. We have seen an occurrence of 2 rivals for a while now (R/S/E w/ Wally, D/P/P w/ opposite gender, and in X/Y with all of your friends from your starting town.).
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
I find that they will line up more with the anime.
Juan - He will retain his Gym Leader status from Emerald.
Wallace - With contests coming back, he will be a notable "Contest Master". You can probably battle him post-game as well.
Steven - Filling a similar position as Adler did in B/W , he is the champion but he roams around a lot.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
Like I said with the protagonists, it's probably going to retain what it had in R/S/E. Also the league was the best league out of any so it has no reason to be changed :) .
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Scott will probably return in either one or both of these:
Battle Frontier Manager - Basically the same position he held in Emerald. He scouts the Hoenn region looking for strong trainers to compete in the Battle Frontier and you cross him a couple of times.
Pokemon World Tournament "Manager" - Kind of like above but it pertains to the PWT. Then after you beat the E-4 he sends you an invite to compete in it.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
I believe Rayquaza will be the link that Aqua/Magma will use to gain access to their corresponding legendary. Rayquaza will be the "key" in order to find/awaken the legendaries. Then in the story the main character must fight through sky pillar (As in fight the opposing team up the tower) up to the point where you find Archie/Maxie "take control" of Rayquaza and then fly off.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
I think Kyogre will maintain it's Water type and ability (Drizzle) as that it's what makes it what it is. Kyogre will then obtain a new Water-Type move (Possibly like the Elemental Hyper Beam but w/o the recharge). However, with Groudon, it will become Ground/Fire and maintain it's Drought Ability. Also like w/ Kyogre he will get a new Fire-Type move that may be as strong as the Elemental Hyper Beam.
    — their roles in the games will be?
They will be the main goals for their "corresponding team" . They will end up fighting after Archie/Maxie release them with Rayquaza. Then the player must defeat the team leader, and then capture Rayquaza in order to neutralize the fighting. Then you can capture Groudon/Kyogre post-game.
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
They will be the Red/Blue Orbs, but they will be a Key Item and you have the ability to turn the orbs "on" and "off".
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
OR: Seedot Family, Mawile, Zangoose, Solrock, Groudon, Heatran, and Dialga.
AS: Lotad Family, Sableye, Seviper, Lunatone, Kyogre, Manaphy, and Palkia.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? No, the region should maintain a kind of "neutrality" until post-game where you unlock new areas, such as the Sevi Islands.
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Post-Game you will be able to find Pokemon from the regions based on which Sevi Island you go to. (Ex; Kanto on Island 3, Johto on Island 4 etc.)
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Most likely Hoenn Pokemon will be the only Pokemon seen with new Mega Evolutions. These include: Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Shiftry, Ludicollo, Zangoose, Seviper, Lunatone, and Solrock.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
They should be hidden in areas that you have to dive for. This will give more purpose for the HM then just accessing certain areas like Sootopolis City.
New areas to be introduced? The Sevi Islands (Not really new, but to Hoenn games) will be introduced, where you can capture other region's Pokemon. Also new areas will be created for Manaphy and Heatran, which will be wanted by Aqua/Magma in order to use them as mediums to gain control of the Sea/Land. Also and island will be created that has X/Y Pokemon and on that island you will meet Professor Sycamore who explains Mega Evolution and this is where you get your Mega Ring. Also new ruins for Regigigas.
    Ideas for post-game conten
Like I said above, the whole Manaphy and Heatran ordeal. Also you will meet Cynthia who will tell you about the legendary Pokemon of her region and tell you that she thinks some of them are resting in Hoenn. Then in OR you can capture Dialga and in AS you can capture Palkia. Also after you capture the Regis and talk to Cynthia, she will take you to a new area which are ruins and then you can go through a dungeon then fight Regigigas. I explained the whole Sevi Island thing above, and then on the Sevi Islands you will meet Professor Oak (Which will be more of an Easter Egg kind of a deal). Also they will add the islands that had Mew and Latios/Latias. And on the island with Latios/Latias you are able to get their Mega Stones.

    Who will be the protagonists?
Brendan and May will be the protagonists, since GameFreak has only revamped one other Pokemon game on this magnitude, which was Pokemon HeartGold and Soul Silver. Those two games had kept the protagonists, Ethan and Kris(Who was revamped into being Lyra), but had revamped their outfits, so it's safe to say the same will happen for this full remake. Since the 3ds/2ds is a more capable engine than it's precedessors, Game Freak will likely keep the customization they introduced in Pokemon X and Y, which will only help entice people besides from nostalgia for those who grew up with third gen.

    What role will Wally play?
Since fifth gen's debut, the role of the third Pokemon neither the player or the rival chose, has been fulfilled by another rival the player will encounter in-game. Wally will likely play the third role for this, keeping his sickly condition, which will only show him growing as a character who tries to overcome his condition. He hadn't really filled the role of a second rival in the original version, having only a Ralts the first time the player battles him, and that was after the player was on their way on getting the Dynamo badge. The second time had been near Victory Road, where he finally gets a full team, and later more rematches with him.

Those were only two battles, and did not give Wally a proper ending, compared to the four battles with Brendan/May, along with closure they had concluded their journey. Wally, on the other hand, told the player he was still going to continue training on Victory Road, where the player will still find him after conquering the pokemon league. With this new remake, there's hope Wally can do better, tag-teaming alongside the player, like Hugh from fifth gen is a likely possibility. He can also be the "actual hero", like in the Percy Jackson series, where the antihero/antagonist was revealed to be the true hero of the prohpecy.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan was not introduced until Pokemon Emerald, where he tells the player he has stepped down from his position as a Gym Leader to give Wallace a chance. This will likely stay the same until a third edition of this full remake happens, meaning besides a few possible advice for Wallace since he's a new gym leader, then he will serve as a contest rival for the player, in order to cater to that portion of the fanbase. Wallace will keep his position as gym leader under the teachings of his mentor Juan, who as previously stated, will be seen giving advice. As for Steven, being a collector of stones, he will likely introduce the stones from Kalo, along with being the champion of the region, since he had only stepped down from the position in Pokemon Emerald. It is very likely his Metagross will have a Mega Evolution, being his signature Pokemon.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
Being only full-remakes, the set-up for gym leaders will be the same, besides improved puzzles for the player to solve. Sixth gen hadn't given any of the gym leaders and Mega Evolutions, but it is likely some of the trainers they've hired will have one or two for the player to battle against. Roxanne will definitely be more of a challenge though.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Although he hadn't been introduced until Hoenn, if GameFreak was going to do a full remake, it would make sense to include him as well. He will be the promoter for the battle frontier just like he had in Emerald, and will gauge the player's progress on their journey, might even point them in the right direction. He will also cater this portion of the fanbase interested in the battle frontier.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Since GameFreak hasn't introduced a third version of the game to go alongside Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Rayquaza will only be seen at the very end of the game. Due to the player having possessed the blue/red orb before the antagonist team were able to, it will be up to Wally to travel to Sky Pillar and awaken Rayquayza, who will manage to stop Groudon and Kyogre once again, with a Mega Evolution/form if needed.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Typing shouldn't change, since none of the current 18 will give them resistance to each other plausibly. Other than increasing their stab, abilities will remain the same. Signature moves will involve their natures as legendary Pokemon, with Groudon dealing with something dealing with land mass, and Kyogre the sea or clouds.

    — their roles in the games will be?
They will fight each other like their first battle, as evident by the short trailer GameFreak demonstrated, where the antagonists will cheer on their mascot, even if one of the teams will be without an orb due to the player.

    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
No, their Megastones would not be the red/blue orbs. Sixth gen has made it clear Mega Evolution was not meant to be permanent, so to go along with the theme Kalos has set up, the megastones will likely follow partly the name of the legendaries. Kyogre's will be Kyogrite, and Groudon's will be Groudonite.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
The original versions exclusive Pokemon were miniscule compared to what the original versions of Gold and Silver had. Due to the abundancy of Pokemon nowadays, GameFreak will likely add in the original version exclusives, along with Pokemon that had appealed to the original. Grass, Dark, Steel, Normal, Psychic, Ground, Fire, and Rock for Groudon. While Water, Grass, Dark, Ghost, Poison, Rock, Psychic, and Water for Kyogre.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Yes, a portion of the Mega Evolutions found in Gen 6 will be available to catch in the wild. Along with that, keeping in mind Hoenn's rural ecosystem, Pokemon like Donphan will be found in the wild as well.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Likely Mega Evolutions will be of the three starter Pokemon, the legendaries, Metagross, and Sableye. There will surely be others, but these are preferred.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Besides being all over Hoenn, with secret bases getting revamped, some will perhaps be found underground in new areas.

    New areas to be introduced?
Underground areas to go with the revamp to secret bases, with New Mauville being expanded to accomodate this. Battle Frontier will be more expanded than it had been, along with areas that can contribute the portion of contest lovers.

    Ideas for post-game content?
There was a reason why Ruby and Sapphire were one of the best selling games after their debut. Third gen had provided things such as Secret Base, Battle Frontier, and Contests, which appealed to a variety of different bases. With X and Y releasing Pokemon Amie, along with customization, this full remake can only get better with more side-plots. Being able to catch Rayquayza will definitely be one of them, along with several other Pokemon, but most of the sidequests dealing with obtaining Pokemon will be left up to trading.

    Who will be the protagonists?
I doubt they would get rid of Brendan and May, but they could possibly add more characters to add variety, and we also might see customization with outfits like in X and Y
    What role will Wally play?
I think that Wally will have a bigger role in the story, possibly meeting you in more places, unlike the few encounters in the originals.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
I don't think that Juan will be in the remakes because he was only in Emerald, and no one ever really liked him anyway. Wallace will have the same role as the Sootopolis gym leader. And I think that Steven will be the champion again, but will also have a lot to do with mega evolution. I mean he IS a collector of rare stones.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
Yes, I think that all the gym leaders will get more backstory in the remakes, because we never really learned much about them in the original games. Also, I think that the gym layouts will be completely different like in HG/SS, and the leader's teams will be more challenging.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
No, I think that he will be replaced by the O-Power guy, or just taken out. He never really served a good purpose.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
I think that Rayquaza will have its own event in the post-game, as well as the same role it had in the originals.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
their types / abilities / signature moves will be? I think their types will stay the same, but I think it would be cool (and OP) if Groudon got Solar Power and Kyogre got Swift Swim. As for signature moves, I don't think they will get signature moves though, because there wasn't any data found in X and Y to indicate that.
their roles in the games will be?
I don't think that the roles will change, because I think that the story will be mostly the same.
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
I think that's a good possibility, because it would actually make the orbs make sense, when the whole concept was kind of random in RSE
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
I think that they will be the same as in the originals, except possibly Zangoose and Seviper if they want to put the Zangoose/Seviper horde in this one.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Only in swarms after you beat the Elite 4
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
I think that Groudon, Kyogre, and the Latis are givens, but I also believe that Rayquaza and the other 2 starters will get megas. And judging by the trademark registrations by Nintendo, mega Plusle and Minun are very possible.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
I think that the Groudon/Kyogre stone will be the orbs. Rayquazanite will be given post-game during his event I predict. Latiasite/Latiosite will be version exclusives given after catching the respective one. The Plusle/Minun stones will be distributed by an event. And the starter stones will be given sometime during the story based on the chosen starter.
    New areas to be introduced?
I think that there will be a big area in outer space. I would be surprised if they didn't do this because there's a space center in Hoenn, and two alien legendaries from third gen come from space, Jirachi and Deoxys. It would be a great way to include those two in the game, and would add really good new content to make the game feel new.
    Ideas for post-game content?
In addition to outer space, I believe that the Battle Frontier will be brought back, and it will have the same buildings as in Emerald. It will also have the move tutors we all know and love from B2/W2, and possibly a place to battle characters from other games like the PWT.

I have very high hopes for this game, and I would probably be willing to spend twice the price if all of my predictions come true.

  • Who will be the protagonists?

Well, they said "new adventure!" and it hasn't been confirmed it's a remake, so, for me it is two different protagonists.

    What role will Wally play?

    Wally...will be the champion ;)

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?

Wallace or Juan will probably be gym leaders, and Steven on the elite four. One of them may not appear at all or will have a minor appearence (kind of like Cynthia in BW)

Will there be any other League-related changes?

Yes, as I said, I think Wally will be the champion. As for the pokemon, they may change one or two and add mega evolutions.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?

The same role as before! He will be the one who mentions that Brendan and May were such great trainers!

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?

The same role as Emerald, obviously.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

I think they should have their own move, just like Zekrom and Reshiram have.
    — their roles in the games will be?
The same role as Ruby and Sapphire
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
Yes, Blue orb for Kyogre and Red orb for Groudon, and Green Orb for Rayquaza too!

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?

Same as Ruby and Sapphire, with a few Gen 4,5 and 6 Pokemon added.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?

    Yes, probably, but a few.

    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

I don't think I can answer that, but let me give a few suggestions:
    Starly,Lillipup Patrat, Bunnelby...

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?

Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Sceptile and Swampert to complete the trio, Mightyena should get one, and Salamence too.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?

Red,Blue,Green orb the same place as before. And maybe there will be some dude that will sell them.

    New areas to be introduced?

Yes, maybe some new mini region, kind of like Orange archipelago and of course, the new player's town.

    Ideas for post-game content?

Travel on a new region, if not, PKMN Trainer Brendan/May ;D

    Who will be the protagonists?
I believe it will be Brendan and May, as per Ruby and Sapphire.

    What role will Wally play?
Wally will reprise his role of secondary rival, though I get the feeling he will appear more often in the story in these remakes.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
I think they will have the roles that were given to them in Emerald; Juan will be the Sootopolis Gym Leader, Wallace will be Champion and Steven will be the post-game superboss.

Will there be any other League-related changes?
Much like Heart Gold and Soul Silver, the Gym Leaders and Elite Four ought to have Pokemon from other regions in their teams when you return for rematches.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
Scott will have the role he had in Emerald, occasionally passing by and observing your progress, then inviting you to the Battle Frontier.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Heart Gold and Soul Silver had shades of Crystal's plot in it. I have a feeling that Rayquaza will play the same role he did in Emerald as the enforcer of peace between Groudon and Kyogre.

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
    — their roles in the games will be?
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

Groudon and Kyogre ought to retain their typing, but Groudon gaining a Fire subtype wouldn't be a stretch if they do receive Mega Evolutions. They could serve as a symbol that only a friend to nature can harness their true power. I could definitely envision the Blue Orb and Red Orb functioning as their Mega Stones, but I believe they won't; I do believe that they will bear some sort of connection to the Mega Stones, however.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
They'll be the same as they were in the original versions. Omega Ruby will have Seedot, Zangoose, Solrock and Latios. Alpha Sapphire will have Lotad, Seviper, Lunatone and Latias.

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

One of the primary reasons for the creation of these remakes is to present an opportunity to catch Pokemon that aren't available elsewhere. I don't think Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will have wild Pokemon from later regions living in Hoenn, but I do think that free trade between these remakes and X and Y will exist, allowing the gap to be bridged in a different way.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
Mega Latias and Mega Latios have been revealed by the same person who revealed Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion. The remakes of Ruby and Sapphire would be a great way to introduce them.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
I think you will be given the Mega Stone for Latios or Latias by an NPC after you capture one of them.

    New areas to be introduced?
Plenty. Fire Red and Leaf Green introduced the Sevii Islands, which seem to blend together styles from Kanto and Johto. Heart Gold and Soul Silver gave us Route 47 and a peek at Sinjoh Ruins, implying that Johto and Sinnoh share a history as well. The Hoenn region is massive and there is plenty of room to introduce new areas to explore. Maybe it will share a history with Kalos in some way.

    Ideas for post-game content?
The Battle Frontier, obviously. The Safari Zone's post-game area in which you can capture foreign Pokemon ought to return as well. I have a feeling there will be more surprise minigames and whatnot added in as well.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
    May and Brendan!

    What role will Wally play?
    Friendly rival.

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Just like Emerald, Juan will be the 8th gym leader, with Wallace as the returning champ and Steven Stone as the 'ultimate trainer' ...

Will there be any other League-related changes?
Change of their teams roster perhaps. Double battle rematches with gym leaders makes a return, maybe a sky battle with Winona and an inverse battle with Liza and Tate as well.

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
I believe he will, he'll be looking for strong trainers to invite them to the battle frontier.

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
Calming Groudon and Kyogre, ending the weather disaster (Drought/Flood).

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
    — their roles in the games will be?
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?

I don't really believe they're going to be mega evolutions, but different forms instead. Alpha and Omega form respectively.
That being said, if I had to assume the above I reckon that they'll keep their types.
As for abilities, Groudon will obtain Mold Breaker and Kyogre will have Hydration.
The evil teams will probably use them against the protagonist. After either one has been defeated (depending on version) Archie/Maxie will lose control of Kyogre/Groudon as it returns to its normal form and flees, causing the weather problem (drought/flood).
I think they'll stick to how they usually name the stones (Groudonite and Kyogite).
The orbs are just used to 'control' them.

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
The legends of course, as well as Seedot/Lotad, Seviper/Zangoose, Solrock/Lunatone, Sableye/Mawile and probably 4th, 5th and 6th gen Pokemon (post game).

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
I'd say they would be available in the Safari Zone after you become champ, as well as in-game trades. If they do include new post game areas then it would be likely you'd find some there.
They may introduce an item or field move or other method of finding wild Pokemon post game, like using the Sinnoh/Hoenn sound in HG/SS.

    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
Just a handful from each I guess, common Pokemon are likely to be available like Starly, Bidoof, Shinx, Pidove, Lillipup, Patrat, Bunnelby, Fletchling, etc.
Perhaps some rares as well as pseudo legends will also be available like Axew, Gible, Larvitar and so on.
Also, I'd like to add if they the other gen Pokemon appear in the upgraded Safari Zone, they'll most likely be the ones you'd find in the Great Marsh in D/P/Pt and 'exotic' Pokemon you'd find in Gen V and VI like Hawlucha for example.

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
I believe only Latias & Latios will have Megas.

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
They may be given by someone significant, Steven Stone perhaps...

    New areas to be introduced?
Expanded Safari Zone, extra content in maps compared to GBA versions I guess, not sure what they'll add different. They'll definitely add on the Battle Frontier though.

    Ideas for post-game content?
Looker missions, Safari Zone, Battle Frontier and Team Rocket!

    Who will be the protagonists?
ruby and sapphire aka brendan and may (most likely you can customize them)

    What role will Wally play?
he will be a rival again that helps you on your quest. maybe be healthier this time

What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
steven could be like lance (except the whole champion thing) and is trying to stop team aqua/magma respectively. juan is still gym leader of sootopolis gym while wallace is the champion still

Will there be any other League-related changes?
besides the league maybe having new pokemon, i don't see anything being changed

Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
yes, as the battle frontier man again with better prizes

What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
maybe if you have both kyogre and groudon you can activate an event where rayquaza can be obtained. or you find him like zygarde in an area you can only go to after beating the elite 4. maybe even an deoxys event to get either him or deoxys

Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?

kyogre - type: water/ abilities: drizzle|sea aura/ signature move: tsunami or hydro shot
groudon - type: ground|fire/ abilities: drought|lava aura/ signature move: giant claw or power blast

    — their roles in the games will be?
team magma or aqua will most likely being using them to try and summon rayquaza or take over the hoenn region

    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
i think they will stick with the whole "ite" at the end of the pokemon's name (ig groundonite
    & kyogrinite)

What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
the legendaries obviously but they might do what they did with the starters from x/y and let you get one of the regis depending on who you picked. latios/latias depending on game as well

Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?

they will probably do what they did with heartgold and soulsilver and add minor pokemon from the other regions but you can only get them once you obtain the national dex and are only in certain areas like islands with special events. the 1st 20ish pokemon from the regular pokedex from gen IV - VI

What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
the latios/latias megas, new starter megas (swampert & sceptile) a mega deoxys (maybe the 5th form)

Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
the area you find the legendary and starters are given to you by professor birch after an event happens

    New areas to be introduced?
the new region the backpacker in x/y was mentioning about

    Ideas for post-game content?
islands or areas where you can get later generation pokemon. travel to new region like in gold, silver, crystal, heartgold and soulsilver to face new gyms and elite 4/champion. mountain/cave/island with powerful trainers and main trainer at top (like red)

Who will be the protagonists? I think the protagonists will be a younger relative of Brendan and may. The second could be the child of either of the original protagonists. Or even maybe another one of Normans kids.
What role will Wally play? I think Wally could be a new gym leader and have it be a mixed typed gym.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill? I think they wont have a huge influence in the game but instead make cameo appearances.
Will there be any other League-related changes? Either brendan or may could be champion, or even wally could be one of the elite four.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?I dont think will be a major part of the story maybe just like the first game, to like give you thinks and keep an eye on you.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be? It would be awesome if rayquaza was captured or he was turned evil because of forced mega evolution.
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
I think thy will get new signature moves when they mega evolve, like groudon could make a meteorite hit the other pokemon. I think the abilities will be completely new. I think groudon will become fire/ground. and kyogre could become water/ice
their roles in the games will be? I think they will be used to help with rayquaza being captured or turned.
of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
I think they will mega evolve when you have both the orbs and the megastones. Version exclusives could be minor unless they add pokemon from different regions.
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild? Yes
    — , if so what Pokemon will be included/excluded? Im thinking certain fire types could exclusive to ruby and water types exclusive to sapphire
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?im hoping that the starters will get some, I hope the legendaries just have different forms instead of mega evolutions because they would be op.
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden? I think maybe they would be in meteorite falls for groudon and somewhere in the ocean for kyorge.
New areas to be introduced?New region hopefully, or maybe a set of islands like in firered and leafgreen.
Ideas for post-game content? Extra side stories afterward, like latios and latias, or deoxys and jerachi could have their own little stories afterwards.

  • Who will be the protagonists?
    May and Brendan.
    What role will Wally play?
Rival who lurks around every corner, this time with gardy as an even bigger threat.
What roles do you think Juan, Wallace, and Steven will fill?
Juan the water gym leader, Wallace the Champion, Stephen the janitor and Steven the post-E4 powerhouse.
Will there be any other League-related changes?
After beating them for the first time, they will get more pokemon, stronger ones and held items.
Will Scott make a return? If so, what as?
As the recruiter for the Battle island (frontier). He'll be checking up on you from time to time, giving you hints and maybe even medals.
What will Rayquaza's role in the story be?
To tell Kyogre and Groudon to CALM THE F*?K DOWN!!!
Assume Kyogre and Groudon receive Mega Evolutions. What do you think
    — their types / abilities / signature moves will be?
Mega Groudon: Fire/Ground - Solar power with a new fiery solar beam ; Mega Kyogre: Water/Dark - Swift Swim and an attack that's like Draco meteor, but water.
    — their roles in the games will be?
The same as before. Only with more power. They will probably fight and then Maxie and Archie in each version respectively (Ruby - Maxie, Archie in Sapphire) bring the mega stone to turn the odds in their favour and with the mega stone the pokemon beats Rayquaza and faces the trainer while berserk.
    — of their Megastones being the Red/Blue Orbs? Or will they be something else?
They will be Red/Blue Orbs with the respective backmark of the pokemon on them, along with a "mega evolution insignia" on top in a light transparent colour.
What will the Version Exclusive Pokemon be?
    Groudon/Kyogre, The Lati twins, Poochy/Houndour, Salamence/Garchomp, Manectric/Ampharos
Will Generation IV - VI Pokemon be available in the wild?
Some before the national dex for the game to be balanced, most after obtaining it.
    — If so, what Pokemon will be included/excluded?
incl. a lot of gen VI pokemon, excl.: other gen starters
What new Mega Evolutions will be introduced?
The rest of the gen III starters, Metagross, Magnezone, Arcanine, the 3 regis...
Where will the stones for the new Mega Evolutions be hidden?
Mt. Pyre, in the hot spring, the underwater regi cave with the braille...
    New areas to be introduced?
A friend safari additional to the already existing safari. A bigger battle frontier. Added islands (like the sevii ones for FR and LG). PWT.
    Ideas for post-game content?
Looking for leftover magma/aqua members. Maybe find a hidden *insert a team from a different region here* base somewhere and you must help root it out. Helping Rayquaza back on its feet. After catching all the Regis you can catch gigas in the underwater cave (with the braille). After catching gigas, the lake guardians could show up in the regi original caves. Collecting all 3 could get you an audience with Dialga/Palkia (depending on your game) and if you had both of them (caught in Hoenn) in your party, you can go to the same location (the place with Rayquaza) and catch Giratina.
