OMG I WAS PLAYING POKEMON BLACK WHILE IN MY BED... YES AT 4 AM.

In Pinwheel forest, I ran into my first Cottonee. 3 hours into the game, 2 badges. My favorite BW Pokemon..... I bought Black just for Erufuun/Whimsicott. And and and omg my first random shiny in forever...

I jumped out of my bed. I'm still all sweaty. I caught her in a heal ball. She needs a nickname. I am shaking so hard lol Pokemonz.

My first random shiny ever was a Weedle. XD The red Gyarados in Silver and HeartGold didn't count for me. After that, my friend caught a shiny Mareep and forced me to take it since my nickname at school is sheep. -.-
But I don't get all the hype over shiny Pokemon. If anything, people's obsession with them helps me to trade Pokemon easier. :3

@Roswell: Sonata is very pretty, so I'll have to save it for a future nickname... I nicknamed her Arcelia, which apparently means "treasure chest" but also "altar of heaven." ^^

@Omer.: Wow, my first shiny was a Weedle in Crystal! He's a beautiful Beedril now, but I hope my Crystal's battery didn't dry out... I believe most of the hype comes from the fact that the chances of randomly encountering a shiny are 1/8192 Pokemon. You feel like a total dork when you've played Pokemon for SO long and you finally encounter a shiny, or maybe even more shinies. :^)

HEY EVERYONE! Can you believe this...I Bought POKEMON BLACK since I already have WHITE and right when I begin my POKEMON JOURNEY, A SHINY PATRAT POKEMON APPEARS...I got so excited to see my FIRST SHINY EVER!! But want to know the saddest part and the part that made me mad the most?!?! IT WAS THE POKEMON THAT POPPED UP WHEN PROFESSOR JUNIPER WAS SHOWING US HOW TO CATCH A POOOOKKEEEEMON!!!! IT HAD BLUE EYES AND SPARKLED!!! GRRR!! How come SHE got it! Why couldn't it WAIT for me?!?!? What are the odds of the Professor coming across a shiny pokemon at the beginning of the game..lol those odds must be RARE-RARE-RARE!
