omg Prom!!

    For many juniors and seniors on PC, prom is coming up!

    For me it's this saturday, and OMG! I GOT A DATE!

    *does the prom dance*

    I've never been to a school dance before...sad as it sounds yes, cause my parents neva let me go

    Me: Hey dad, can I go to the school dance with my awesome, 4.0 GPA christian friends who don't drink or smoke?

    Dad: NOO sir! I dun want you at those kind of places!!

    That's what he usually says, but he eased up a bit for prom...

    Anyone got any advice for me? Or cheer me for good ;)!

    I've danced at a school dance once. Just follow these simple rules and you'll be fine Dakota. ^^

    1) Make sure you don't step on the girl's foot. That can usually lead into her leaving.
    2) Be nice and get her a drink. Girls go for that.
    3) Don't boast around or act silly while dancing. Some girls consider that mean and immature.
    4) Wear something really nice like a black tuxedo.
     
    I wish I had your parents. My parents forced me to go to my 8th grade prom. It sucked but I danced with girls. Good Luck D.
     
    My prom is May 21... and my friends convinced me to skip my dance recital to go. Of course, I'll be dateless as always. *sigh* I hate dances anyway, but since it's prom I'll make an exception.

    I've got no advice considering I'm not a dance person myself. I've only gone to three school dances while in high school. That's not including the one I was forced to go to on Saturday on a cruise-type thing. There were these guys there and my friends descrition was "they were like dogs at a fire hydrant" >< I guess I can see why parents don't want their kids going to high school dances. o_o;

    I'm a dance expert. I've danced with 3 guys in one night once. It was fun. Just do what I said Dakota, and it'll turn out great, you'll see. ^^
     
    Ohhhhhh D has a girlfriend *gets shot*. XD

    Advice? Take a shower, you don't want to smell like a pig. Shine your shoes. Get a nice hair cut. Lose the glasses.
    And most of all. Don't eat mints. Girls don't like minty breath for that first kiss. *Gets shot even more for saying that*. XD

    Have fun D, and cut a rug at the dance. XD
     
    Enjoy it Dakota! I know how prom is. Mine is next week Saturday and Im looking for it.

    He got a point. For example do not say anything immature like man land for example and compliment your date on her dress. ;)
     
    ~Dress like a bum, chicks love that
    ~Eat TONS of onions and raw fish
    ~Poop deodorant/cologne is a nice combo
    ~Ask her if she gained weight
    ~Tell her she can dance as well as a fish with 3 legs
    ~Make sure to arriver 2 hours before it starts
    ~Don't wear shoes
    ~Bathe in skunk juice
    ~Don't brush your teeth starting now
    ~Do disco moves

    Trust me, it works, how I get all the girls :cool:
     
    No adivce, but good luck. I hope you have fun, beccause there are only so many proms one can have! Just remember to tell us all about it! Buena suerte.
     
    dakota!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whats up! haven't talked to you in a while (Nightshadow) anyways, i have a date, my gf i've been with for 8 months woo woo! lol anyways, glad to see you got a date.
     
    The most important rule of taking a girl to a dance is................don't get her mixed up with her identical twin sister. trust me. it leads to a world of pain. anyways, as long as you do that, you should be fine.
     
    To tell you all the truth, I didn't go to my prom when I was in high school. What was the reason?

    I stayed home that night and watched the NASCAR All Star race!!! :D

    I already said to myself I wasn't going and I shocked a lot of people that I watched the NASCAR race instead of going to my prom.

    And to this day, I don't regret it. XD
     
    Don't you mean "the prom"? ^_^;

    I'm an Aussie, remember? :P Instead of a prom, we have a semi-annual social. It's pretty much the same thing, but I always try to avoid them.
     
    Yeah same here Kyorge i don't have mine till like year 10.

    But i'll probobly be dateless.
