4 I guess. I don't watch nearly as much as I used to and I wouldn't say it shaped me or had a huge impact on me.

I'd have to give my rating at about... a 9. I used to love it, but I don't get much time to watch it anymore. However, it's my favorite medium of entertainment. I'd give up TV and all that if I can watch whatever anime I want. :V

Probably around 5 right now. There are a lot of series I have enjoyed that I would still enjoy if I watched them again, but I haven't seen anything new that has truly captivated me for almost a year, and I'm starting to become very disenchanted with it all.
The incomplete series based off of light novels are particularly annoying, too...especially if they show promise which ultimately dwindles away to nothing. I'm interested in watching a complete show, not an advertisement for a series of books...
...and don't even get me started on the fandoms...

Definitely - 10
But I know I'm over this scale :)
Like everyone mentioned there are a lot of anime you can enjoy and not. But still if you like them, this is it. For me old anime, new - like them all, of course there is a few exceptions. I'm not watching everything. If some anime is not for me - sorry.
I like Anime which one follow Manga plus this series - must have something [you know what I mean]
