/b/ is a containment board full of 15 year olds posting porn, gore, racism and memes. Apparently it was the creative engine of the site back when it started but then that famous Descartes quote was proven correct. I'd imagine the recent celebrity nudes scandal didn't help much as a lot of the media seemed to be saying that 4chan did it, they were just being posted there. Muh super hacker 4chan. There are something like 70 boards on that site and a majority of them hate /b/ and /pol/.

Worst thing I've seen on the internet was probably a forum with a userbase dedicated to spreading HIV and aids.
