It's not really a new thing. I mean, her name's really "Sarada" but...it's Salad.

But I mean, really, it's always been there. The main character's name is Naruto (fish-pasted cake, often found in ramen) and there's a character name Rock Lee. I mean, c'mon Kishi.

Actually, Twilight, that's really the whole reason I play the Ninja Storm games.

If you guys have ever heard of CyberConnect2 (makers of Asura's Wrath and the .Hack series), these guys do fantastic work in cinematic direction. I've mentioned before that I downloaded Ninja Storm 3 as a joke because I'd played the original and wasn't sold and I wasn't exactly a Naruto fan by that point, but after just the opening of that game I can say without a doubt that I'm a fan of CC2's storytelling and how they portray Naruto. They make it exciting and theatrical. Hell, I'd recommend it for the story alone.

...And I do, since the UNS games are the way I follow Naruto, now, for the above reason. But I can say that it does have me hooked in that regard, and this fight is a pretty good representation of why:

Well, all of it is, but 3:15 onwards is pretty much what I love about it from a cinematic standpoint. I'm a sucker for great visual direction in games.

I mean, the first Naruto vs Sasuke fight was 70% Uchiha backstory over...what, 3-4 episodes?

Having just gotten through this arc, that basically summed up the last 4 episodes of the fight. I think there was one episode where it was them trading destroying each other, but it was pretty much all backstory.

Jesus Christ, Poki, calm down. You're comedic genius is actually going to kill Orph. I don't know if he can take it.

So...I beat Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, the last Inazuma Eleven game...well, period. There's a lot of postgame content and even the previous two titles have some postgame content I'm locked out of because linking the two unlocks the final team (though, disregarding that, there's still a ton of content). All in all, though...it's over.

In one sense, I'm happy to say I've beaten these games I never thought I'd get to play. In another, still happy because I'm free from being glued to my 3DS and now I can focus on other unproductive things like Gintama and pretty much anything else. It's liberating.

...But there's also the sadness that comes with saying goodbye to a series I loved so much. This is the end, and though the creator said that he still wants to do more with the series...well, so far nothing's come of that. I'd love to see the series go in a completely different direction, possibly revive a cancelled title that was planned for the series, or even follow the original crew in High School- but these are just ideas. Ultimately, though, after three years, 6 games, several playthroughs, and 200+ episodes...I don't feel so bad saying goodbye to the series. It's been a good run.
