17 years old, 5 months, and 24 days to be exact. But yeah some things in life I plan to never do.

A lot of people plan never to drink when they're your age. I know I did!

Why wouldn't you want to ever try alcohol anyway? It never made any sense to me, except for the obvious "My ____ was an alcoholic" - having a couple drinks will not shorten your lifespan by any appreciable amount, you can do it in the safety of your own room if you're afraid of loss of control (and if you're that afraid of loss of control, you might need professional help), and it's legal.

That's good, you're 17. Hugs, not drugs, man.

Hugs, not drugs.

Both tbh. 8)

I'm surprised there are 17 year olds who don't want to drink, honestly. Here it's like... everyone does unless there are religious reasons or whatever behind it. I kinda think you're missing out if you don't try it at least once just to see what it's like, even if you end up hating it. It's an experience. Life's made to experience things. 8)

I can remember for the longest of time not wanting to drink alcohol but I guess getting older just changed that in me.

Also, ♥♥♥♥ the USA and the drinking age of being 21.

Vodka can be made from potatoes. Some people consider me as a potato (I don't know why). Therefore cannibalism.

Okay, this may be my favorite reason not to drink ever.

I don't follow any religion, but I guess it's more like I'm just too lazy to try.

Then maybe drink bourbon?

Again, too lazy to try.

And for those of you who don't know I'm usually the laziest person around, I usually sit next to a screen and do whatever possible there. I only leave when I absolutely have to.

He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to. Besides, it's a long way to go from drinking to drunk. And ♥♥♥♥ the drinking age being 21. As a Canadian, coming over the border and not being able to drink, that's embarrassing >:(

He doesn't have to if he doesn't want to.

No, really? We thought our words were physically forcing alcohol down his throat. Don't I have egg on my face!

Seriously though, saying drunkenness, barring addiction problems, should be something that people experience once in their life is no more strange than saying people should experience living without a roommate or taking public transportation on their own or leaving the country. You can live life without it, easily, but it's an experience that gives you a bit more insight into certain parts of life - in this case, why people drink and interaction while drunk. I know I got a lot more sympathetic towards drunk posting when I started drinking, because my brain wants to socialize when I'm drunk.

Man I have so much self-esteem when I'm drunk. I know it's stereotypical but I always end up feeling really damn good about my life choices.

He's joking with you, dude.

Alcohol seems nice, but I'm not really keen on jumping on it as soon as possible. I'd rather wait, really ;)
