4th Gen One new legendary?

It'll most likely be 2nd G because most other legendaries are already obtainable in events or not but i dunno if Celebi has its own event in any of the othe games so it'll probably be obtainable! if not Jirachi cause theres no eent for it either! when i say event i mean script event.

We can hope. I hope we can get Celebi from HG/SS, because I've always wanted to use one, but for lack of events, never had one to use... after all, they pretty much left the event for it in G/S/C untouched for the English versions, I believe... and I don't even think it was released outside of Japan, but then again, I never paid much attention to events prior to D/P/Pt... ^^;;
 
It'd be nice to see Mewtwo make a return to the dungeon, but I think / want Celebi to be the added legendary here. Since we didn't really get it last time. ;;
 
Probably Celebi? Yah it could be tied to the story like Platinum did with Girantina. I can see it! Lugia or Ho-Oh is controlled by Team Rocket and destroys everything. And Celebi comes back to warn you.

I agree If they added an entirely new pokemon then we would have a situation similar to the one between the metal games and the originals. And Deoxys wasn't new, people knew about it so if they followed that pattern it would be a 4th gen legendary like Shaymin.
 
The original games had 6 legendaries, and I think there's a good chance of Shaymin and even Mewtwo making an appearance in the remakes. There will not be any new ones introduced though.

And Mewtwo doesn't need an evolution.

If you're talking about a brand new legendary, then no. Leave it for the 5th Generation to come.
 
no there will be no "new" pokemon or legendaries in the games though adding a legendary from another region to round off the low amount in johto would be nice
 
My guess would either be Celebi if not put in an event or a simple one from the 4th or 3rd Gen. Mewtwo is a possibility as well xD

There may be a small sub-plot involving a GS Ball and Celebi, but apart from that I very much doubt a new Legendary will jump into the remakes. And there's probably no chance of a Celebi side-quest happening too, so... yeah.
 
Perhaps a legitimate event of Mew will be available...
Maybe to that lost island that was never accessible in RSE?
 
I think it will Celebi, with the case of Deoxys, Deoxys was already in the R/S pokemon data so it would make sense to me that they would add a pokemon that was in the previous versions that wasnt as easy to obtain.

Just my two cents.
 
If they put Mew in the game...it has to involve the SS Anne truck.
 
I would like them to put celebi, well, celebi was already in g/s/c, but I would like if they put the gs ball item again xP...
