Sorry that I'm late posting Mudkipz, it's probably to do with different time zones and the fact that I last posted a while before you got on, and today I've had business to attend to.

Khufu sighed as the three spies turned to leave for Jubilife City. He couldn't tell if they were reluctant to do so, but he didn't care. His job wasn't to read people's minds, it was as the General of PokeRebel. He turned to leave himself and let his mind wander.

A crack of thunder pierced the air, and the rain sunk into Khufu's fur, dripping off and into the grass. Khufu never had been a fan of rain, being a Fire-type, but this time, the rain seemed to carry a message of loneliness, spelled out in each raindrop. Squinting to keep his eyes dry of rain, Khufu's only goal was to put as much distance between him and his former master as possible.

Glancing down at his neck, Khufu saw the dim shine of his ID tag, muted by the dark clouds, late hour, and poor condition. But even in the darkness, the words binding him to his master were still discernible:

Khufu looked up, seeing a tree off to the left. He changed his course for it, feet splashing in the soaked grass. When he brushed against the rough tree bark, he began chipping the collar off his neck against the tree. The sides were rough enough to make some progress, but it wasn't much. Groaning in exasperation, Khufu leaned his body against the tree to rest.

"Hey! What's going on here? It's a storm, what are you doing out here?"

Khufu saw a Graveler looking down at him with concerned eyes. To Khufu, it seemed the Graveler was actually concerned about his well-being. That meeting would reshape Khufu's thoughts of the world, and even after Magnus was killed, Khufu would always remember him, and the encounter, vividly.

Ever since then, Khufu had been able to keep his old identity of Sphynx hidden, but always had feared it would be discovered. Nobody, as far as he knew, was aware of it. But there was still room for fear.

Returning to the present, Khufu asked Silence, slightly softer now, "So what's up? You enjoying the war?"

Name: Steven Andersen

Age: 18

Personality: The war had changed his mentality and personality drastically. Andersen, once the hot-blooded, loud romantic who thought Pokemon and people were equal, believing it was a wrong to be righted, has turned to a reserved, cynical, battleweary pragmatist, who now considers Pokemon brutes with a taste for blood, fighting only to survive. Albeit very hostile and stand-offish with others, an alter ego he developed out of what he believes is necessity to survive, he cares very deeply for the few that earn his trust. The war has also made him paranoid, leading him to check for non-existent hostiles in the most remote places and driving him to the point where he starts shooting at nothing. His philosophy? "Kill 'em all..."

History: Andersen's life had not been disturbed until many months later, when the military had barricaded Sandgem off from the rest of the world, killing everyone's Pokemon and declaring martial law. Within weeks, the town had run out of supplies and the soldiers began fighting with the local populace for food, often turning firearms on each other. Andersen, sickened by what he was witness to, promptly stole a rifle and began digging into the Underground as a form of escape. The rebellion had overrun the town a few weeks later, finding the hole in the ground. Not sure as to what to do, the commander gave the order to search for humans, then seal it, effectively trapping him.

Appearance: Standing at 6 feet and of the more athletic persuasion, with short black hair and brown eyes, and the hardened features typical of a combat vet, Andersen is the face of the human side if he was fighting for the humans. Half-dressed in a white t-shirt, dark blue jeans, and white sneakers, Andersen looks more like a man out on a jog more than someone trying to survive a war between humans and Pokemon.

Role: Absolutely neutral at this point in time, he's merely trying to get out of it alive, regardless of who wins.

Others: Being trapped in the caves with no human or Pokemon contact has started to drive him crazy, but he will escape by the end of 3 entries by me.

Weapon: A nickel-plated M1911 with pearl grips and a Sinnohian military (X)M8 carbine with an M320.
