There might be a new area in the post-game where you can find Diancie, somewhere around the Battle Frontier I suppose. I could honestly see it being a reward from Steven to you if you can defeat him in your post-game rematch. That might be too generous a reward, but I think it'd make sense. He is the strongest trainer in Hoenn, so achieving victory against him is no easy task.

I hope it's an underground area with large crystals like the Kingdom in the movie.

I hope not, I'm honestly tired of legends simply being given away (well mostly from wi-fi now). I miss the challenge of capturing them...

I don't even find capturing challenging though, just time-consuming. If you kill it or run out of balls you just reset and start over, so it's not like you can even fail.

For me it was, but it was mostly due to it being time consuming xD Especially for those of us looking for the right nature and IV's.

Yeah, I wouldn't say they were challenging, but the amount of time needed to capture one without a master ball is extremely annoying. I've spent way too many hours wasting hundreds of ultra balls at smaller legendaries just for the sake of owning them. Defeating one of the most skilled and advanced trainers in the region might be a solid prerequisite to acquiring Diancie.

I hope they do some AI brushup finally - implement some real strategies, give the trainers something to do besides be destroyed because they pick moves randomly and never switch.

Certainly. If I'm having real trouble with a Pokemon, especially against gym leaders or other important trainers, in a worst case scenario I can literally use 20+ potions until they run out of PP for their attacking move, and then proceed to win the battle, haha. n__n; It would be nice to see the boss characters in ORAS have some useful items and move sets to make defeating them an actual challenge.

I think Mega Diance will play a large role in ORAS, and that's why its information was released earlier. My favorite new information has been Stephen's new design! <3

I remember the E4 used max potions in the original, hopefully they'll use them again in these games. I thought that was annoying though because I struggled to bring them down to the red, and then they just heal xD. But it made them difficult. Now imagine if they decided to give the E4 and Steven (or Wallace) revives... Steven revives Metagross. Or worse...he Max Revives it...

Without those Full Restores, the Elite Four would be significantly easier, in my opinion. As long as your move hit for more than half, it was a guaranteed quick kill. On the other hand, giving them Revives/Max Revives would be an absolute disaster and I would hate Game Freak indefinitely for doing such a thing. :[

All ya really gotta do to make the games harder is not level grind so much. If you rarely fight wild pokemon, then the games will hard;) just like almost every other rpg I have played.

I'll be disappointed if they changed the Elite Four up a little so that you can battle them in whichever order you choose. Not only would it disrupt the levels but it just wouldn't feel like the original Hoenn Elite Four, I like the progressing level increase.

I hope it stays the same, or that they'll make it so that the level still progresses up after you defeat them. Like the first E4 you face off has Lv. 56 Pokemon, the second has Lv. 58, the third Lv. 60, the fourth Lv. 62, the Champion Lv. 67 for the first time you face them.

I agree, although I wouldn't mind too much if they did give us the option of choosing again. I'd definitely prefer they kept it like it was in RSE, though. Much more of a challenge by testing the patience and skill of a trainer to endure an always-improving onslaught of powerful Pokemon. With the option, each elite four member has the same level of difficulty, basically only making it a challenge if you can't compete with that level.

Currently since we now know what the new forms of Groudon and Kyogre are, and have seen Swampert and Sceptiles Megas I'm looking forward to seeing Ancient Rayquaza the most out of anything.

I face palmed. How did I overlook this fact. I mean I thought of it at first but brushed it off. But I guess it's almost a given that they will do it at this point.

Yeah, wonder if it'll look similar to the level of Ancient Groudon or slightly more different like Ancient Kyogre is. Or maybe it's the most different out of the three...

Not a given yet, but certainly likely. There haven't been many things linking ORAS to Emerald-specific aspects, like Wallace being the champion or the upgraded Battle Frontier, so we can't be sure how many of those will show up in the new games, seeing as they are remakes of Ruby and Sapphire technically. Doubt the devolution design for Rayquaza would be groundbreaking, probably similar minuscule alterations, much like what they did with Groudon and Kyogre.

It's still possible that Wallace could be the champion, and the Battle Frontier is still a possibility.

Heck for all we know, it could be a combination of all three. Only taking the best aspects of each game. Rayquaza might be huge! Remember that nothing with GF, concerning these games,is impossible, only not very probable . XD

I know! That's why I said it's not a given that Rayquaza will receive a devolution form yet. Maybe once they start revealing features that are from Emerald, but for now, I'm not sold that they will. And even if those features do make a return in ORAS, it all depends on whether or not Rayquaza receiving a devolution fits in to the revised plot of the remakes.
