    [PokeCommunity.com] Orianna's Shockwave
    Uhm hai guys o.o
I've been around here for a while, and ever since I got Supporter as a birthday gift from Sage Ghetsis and discovered this section, I've been wanting to post a thread here, but now that I actually got to it, I have no idea what I should say >u<

Here's a little info on the person behind Orianna

My real name's Alexandra, but I'd rather be called Lexy, though Alex works as well.
I'm from Romania. I'm 21 years old (>.>) and was born under the sign of the Cancer.
I discovered Pokémon when I was around 6. I had recieved a Gameboy Color and a few cartridges with various games like Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros and stuff. Among those cartridges, there was one that was actually a compilation of like 12 games and the very first of them was Pokémon Yellow. (the 12th was that game with those tanks >.>). Back then, I didn't really speak english, other than the songs we learned at kindergarden so my very first Pokémon adventure was really difficult. I was stuck for days in Viridian City, not knowing where to go until I accidently entered the PokéMart and triggered the Oak's Parcel quest xD Then I was stuck in Mt Moon cause I kept runing about in circles. Back then, the first season of the anime aired over here, every saturday and sunday morning and I was loving it.

Then, time went by and I grew out of it after I lost my compilation cartridge. I then decided to pass down my gameboy to my cousins and they eventually broke it x.x
Years went by and all of the sudden, I got interested in Pokémon again. So I started watching the anime all over again, learned about Emulators and ROMs and, since I had no other way of getting the games, I had to resort to playing on Emulators. At first, I was playing for fun. Then, I discovered PokéCommunity through Gavin's game. After wandering about PC aimlessly for a bit, I eventually landed in the Challenges Section and settled there.

So here I am today, an avid Pokémon Challenger that lurks about the Trade Corner IRC despite never really trading or knowing anything about RNG and that randomly VM spams people with various Pokémon art every now and then (with my pair being an almost constant victim xD).
So... go right ahead and ask me stuff o.o

Stunfisk and that's mainly because of its design.
Writing and reading and gaming are some of my hobbies. Oh, and watching movies >u<
    Purple, Cyan, Teal, Red.
I like Japanese though I never got to properly learn it.
Life in Romania is as hard and crappy as anywhere else.

Why are you always invisible on Skype?

What do you like best about PC?

At first, I used to hide from a couple of annoying people that would bother me all the time. Then I simply didn't change it back one day and got used to it. Nowadays, people that I love talking to know that I'm actually online despite my status saying "Invisible" xD So it's kinda like a filter of sorts, I guess xD

I love the Challenges section. I spend 99% of my time on PC in that very section ^^ Oh and I love emblems *-* I wish to own lots of them one day *-* And last but not least, the people. The community here is awesome!

How do you actually have time to do any challenges? How do you not get bored while doing said challenges? Why do you not like math at all? Will you make me breakfast?

I tend to sneak bits and pieces of them into my daily activities. I play a bit when eating breakfast then on lunch, on dinner, whenever I get any free time. Or I simply sacrifice some other game time and use it on Challenges.

I can't really get bored of them since they're so many and so different. To prevent getting bored, I never play 2 Challenges in the same Gen/Region at the same time. Like, if I am in the middle of playing Red for my Normal Mono, I won't be playing another Kanto game at the same time, but I'll play an Unova game or a Hoenn one.

I'm a huge dreamer and I got an artistic nature and a rich imagination. I simply can't see art in maths so I dislike it. It's too rigid for my fluid nature xD

    No, I'm affraid I won't make you breakfast .-.

How is the weather in Romania normally?

Well, on winters it can get REALLY cold, on summers it can get REALLY hot, during fall it gets REALLY rainy and during spring it's 1 day of winter, 1 days of summer, 1 day of fall and so on xD kinda like that xD

Ugh sounds terrible hahaha. What do you think about the pair system here? What is a pair to you?

I like the pair system. It's pretty fun ^^
To me, a pair is just a good friend, someone I feel comfortable around and someone I get along with ^^

Do you plan on getting a 3DS for X/Y and the DS pokemon games?

the 3DS is REALLY expensive over here. I can't afford one x.x
Besides, with Pokémon not being that popular over here (we don't even have b2/w2 in stores), I don't think I'd see X/Y too soon.

You people need to ask me more questions >.>

*le useless bump* since nobody ever asks me anything anyways xD worth a shot tho ^^

Omg, a fellow Pokemon challenger! :D

1st question, If you could travel the world, where would you go?

2nd question, your sig got a lot of ghost Pokemon, is that your favorite type?

3rd question, how many challenges do you do at the same time?

Lilly <3 my genderbending rival *-*

Here's the answers you seek. xD

    1. I'd LOVE to be able to go to Japan, or simply get on a bike and travel around the world. I'd love to be able to live my life as an eternal traveller, never settling down and stuff *-* And not bound by the rules of our broken society >u<

    2. Ghost is actually second in my type prefference, the first being Ice. I really felt like I didn't show Chandelure (my favorite Ghost type) enough love so I went for a Chandelure theme. And I used ghost type sprites for my links because it looks pretty that way xD

    3. Right now I've reached around 13 or 14 of them and I got 3 or 4 on hold. I tend to play bits and pieces of this and that whenever I'm in the mood xD I'm a challenges maniac so I can't help it when I see a challenge that's interesting. Besides, I'm runnign 7 challenges and I'm supposed to play the challenges I run so there you have it xD

Hmm, did you ever travel to another country? :D

    Do you own any pets?

If you had the choice of having anything in the world, what would it be?

How do you deal with free time vs. work time? For me it all turns into a gooey mush of free time and as a result I never get anything done :(

I went on a cruise with my parents when I was six. We visited Italy, greece, Egypt, Israel and well, some other countries on our way, like Austria. I also went to Israel for two months when I turned 18, spent a Summer in Germany when I was 14ish and spent a summer in london like two years ago. Oh and I went on a school trip to Switzerland back in highschool and we went through Italy, Slovenia and Austria on the way there.

I've had many pets in the past. Dogs, cats, turtles, parrots.... Now i only have a dog ^^ He's one of those small ones, a pekignese (or whatever you spell that xD) He's been with us for 10 years now ^^

If I could have one thing.... and just that one thing, I'd want to be teleported to the Pokéverse and have a Pokémon journey through Johto *-* My life would be complete that way ^^

Well, the only "work time" I have is school related xD And I'm handling myself quite alright I guess ^^ There's times I get stuck too tho and just do nothing xD
